After almost 30 years, she announced her retirement this weekend as she is terminally ill. Such a nice lady.

I was wondering if she was getting worse.
Some days I can tolerate her other days I flip right past.....but have learn a lot neat ideas from her.
I wish her the best.

Aww, that's too bad. I didn't know she was still filming her show. I remember watching her many, many years ago on PBS.

Besides her palsy, what other illness does she have? That is sad, her show was fun to watch.

I hadn't realized that she had been battling cancer, so was surprised when I saw she was retiring. She was recording new episodes up until her diagnosis, so there will be 15 new episodes this next season. It will be bittersweet to watch those. Nancy Zieman Personal Note |

That's so sad. Back in my younger days, I had never owned a sewing machine or made a single item and I learned to sew by watching her.

Oh wow, I had no idea she was still on the air. I haven't seen an episode in many years. She really knew how to break down a complicated task and make it understandable. That's such sad news about her diagnosis.

Heartbreaking news...damn cancer...it took my sister in 1990 and my older sister is now fighting lung cancer after battling breast cancer...I wish her , her family and her fans all the best...
