I think I would like it. It has Robert Duvall and Robert Downey Jr.
But I wonder if it would be one of those bummer relationship movies like August: Osage County.

I'm not a fan of Robert Downey Jr at all. But I really want to see that movie. But alas, I probably won't. LOL Dh and I aren't movie watchers and rarely go to a movie other than a kids movie. I can't wait to hear if y'all like it though.  |

The trailers I've seen in the theaters made me want to see it. Th TV ads make it look a mess. So I'm torn.

It looks good to me, but Rotten Tomatoes is only giving it 52% so I'll wait and see what the audience ratings are once it opens.

Since we go to a movie every Tuesday we will more than likely go to see it. We went to 2 movies this week.  Saw the Maze Runner and The Equalizer. I'll never be in another Home Depot/Lowe's without thinking of all the possible weapons.

It looked really good to me, and then when I saw that Vincent d'Onofrio is in it, it sealed the deal.
I don't know what it is about Robert Downey Jr, he is totally not my type, but he makes my "short list."

I love both Robert Downey Jr. and Robert Duvall so this movie appeals to me. That being said, I'm trying to save my pennies for vacation so I'll wait until it comes on cable.

sharlag - Oh he's easy on the eyes, for sure. But over the years, I've just always gotten a sleazy vibe from him. No real reason that I can think of. I don't purposely avoid his movies - I did watch Ironman (I think that's the one he's in) and it was ok. But I definitely don't seek his movies out either.

cadoodlebug-I hear you about "the Equalizer"! I saw that on Friday. Denzel is such a bad ass in that movie. I didn't know anything about it before going and wow! I had to cover my eyes a few times but he sure made use of the tools,lol

I love RDJr. Loved the trailer that I saw at the movies.
Wasn't a big of the Equalizer, even tho I love Denzel, & the original TV show.
I agree with cadoodle about Lowes stores....really spooky uses of stuff for killing.

Love the actors (Robert Downey has always been a favorite of mine!) and I'm intrigued by the storyline. DH is too so I think this might be one we see in the theater. I want to see the Equalizer too...

RDJ is one of those Lindsey Lohan type actors that I'm rooting for. He made some very poor decisions in his youth, hit rock bottom and came back from the abyss. 20 years ago, who would have ever thought that he would be here today? i thought the movie looked interesting. I would like to see it, but it's so hard to find the time to see a movie. |
