I recently indexed my stamps and I love it. They are in a 3 ring binder so adding to the index is easy. The stamps are stored in binders labeled Objects, Seasonal/Sentiments, Flora/Fauna, Background, and Alphas. The few I chose to leave on wood blocks are in a clear craft tote. I do not have a huge inventory so finding the right stamp is easy.

I bought a pile of smash items last week. I'm making a smash type of book for my sister so the journal prompt booklets for $.49 were great. They even had the elastic band to put around your book to hold the pens. Our store had several types of large journals too, but I'm using an old Basic Grey 7x9 binder instead so she can make her own pages to add to the book.

I have the satisfaction of knowing that even if I shop every week I still haven't spent a fraction of what my DH spends on his hobbies. I also have the satisfaction that what I make will be around and enjoyed by the whole family for a long time, not just a once and done thing.

Mine is in the kitchen pantry easily accessed, I don't use it as much as I should. I bought the large and small mouth jar sealer for mason jars. I seal beans and even tea bags that I buy in bulk and seal them in jars. I think I need a new sealer though cuz my bags seem to leak and get icy after about a month.

I went back and bought the envelope punch board for $9.99. Then I went down the rabbit hole and found out everything else I could do with it, now I have to actually find the time to play with it. Originally I was thinking of all those cards I wouldn't have to toss out because I messed up the last envelope in the box but now I'm thinking gift card envelopes, etc.
I went a bit hog wild at TM yesterday. Still no Christmas papers or embellishments but more chipboard letters, tons of embellishments from various companies (sorry I didn't look closer). A few rustic and bright PP packs from a company I never heard of, but they were cute. No new dies/embossing folders either.
What was new was a section entirely of smash book items. I bought small prompt/list booklets for .49 each and some post it/flags thingys. but there was washi tape and pockets, dividers etc to hook into a spiral bound book and those pens with the glue on the other end. I'm making a few journal kits for gifts and these will be perfect. Bought a WRMK glass cutting mat for $9.99 for DD and the teal corner chomper for $9.99 and the letters for me.

My TM manager knows I come in every Wed after work. She asked me "Isn't the craft section so much better since we rearranged it?" I wanted to say "NO" because now everything is mixed up and there is a pole with a fire extinguisher sticking out directly opposite all the paper! It's impossible to bend down to search through all the bins of paper. I felt sorry for her, she is so overworked, but she was trying. She never gets a day off.
I'm trying to convince myself I do not need an envelope punch board. I also passed up a set of nesting label dies for $9.99. This week we got in a lot more K&co but not christmas, I'm waiting patiently.

I live in PA so we can't buy wine in the grocery store and our Costco isn't open yet. We do have some wine shops so I will stop there, thanks for the recommendations. Dinner plans changed and in-laws are hosting the meal so I can go with a cheaper white after all. Thanks everyone.

that goes with Thanksgiving dinner? I want to take a bottle to a relatives house, they like reds but I thought white was best with poultry, any suggestions to a wine novice?

I have been a member of this site since I bought my Craftrobo way back when. I haven't visited the boards in quite a while and found they still are a great source of advice and many free cut files even for the Cameo. They are also very nice and helpful people. Check them out at www.ukscrappers.co.uk/boards/index.php

I want a Picturemate but I have a perfectly good Selphy. I would also love a wide format printer! ![:yeahthat:](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/yrGoHMAelQz8f2Qt0sjb.jpg) Exactly what I was going to type! Me too, I would love to be able to print larger than letter sized to use with the Cameo but I have nowhere to put it.

Dear Santa, I want a Big Shot, embossing folders, thinlits dies, distress inks, more stamps and some Tim Holtz stencils...
Oh wait, I already bought them myself because I got tired of saying no I don't really need them for years. My splurge with my first paycheck this year, now I really must go on a spending freeze and stay away from TM!

I want an electronic cutter but haven't bought one for 2 reasons... cost and I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to figure it out! Do it! Buy a Cameo. If I (a Craftrobo flunky) can do it so can you. I haven't gotten past trace and cut or print and cut and using freebie cut files and I have gotten so much use out of the machine already. I am so happy DH bought it for me for Christmas last year. Of course it was on my Amazon wishlist at a great price.

I just bought a Wink of Stella pen and lets just say this non-glittery gal is having loads of fun! This little pen just might turn me to the bright side. Distress inks and embossing folders are in second place. I'm having so much fun playing I don't know when I'll actually get around to scrapping again. So what new (to you) product are you having fun playing with lately?

Marshall's had Heidi Swapp Christmas pad, 2 different AC Christmas pads and a 6x6 pad plus the AC washi in with the journals and cookbooks. In the front of the store they had the AC markers and pens and 6 different AC washi packs. I bought the HS pad and the Washi packs Mistletoe and Peppermint, might go back for the Valentine themed one.

The items I have been looking for I can't find at the big box stores so I do a little each week depending when/where I find the best sale/no shipping deals. I refuse to ever pay full price for an item or on shipping than absolutely necessary. Oh how I miss the scrapbooking glory days!

Small prints, stripes, dots in subtle colors, plaids where they fit. I avoid large dots or stripes and the large motifs because I just can't figure out how to work with them.

That's me, there are maybe a dozen photos up until I was 5 then nothing until 9th grade. My family was going through a difficult time, money was tight and they couldn't afford to develop the film. Then the camera broke, so that was that. My siblings pooled their money to buy them a new camera for Christmas, but they had so gotten out of the habit of taking photos that there are very few until my sister got married. That is why I went photo crazy when my kids were younger. I only have 5 photos of my father ranging from between 1st grade and graduation.

I did buy a multi pack of cardstock for $2.99. It was 8.5x11 double sided Bright. It's a bit thinner than I normally would buy but the colors go perfectly with all the old Doodlebug collections I have.

I think the oldest things in my stash are some "frames" that were photos of wood or knitted yarn or lace, and you have to punch out the middles (but the middles are printed so you can use those too.) My neighbor gave them to me along with some cardstock in maybe 2000 or 2001 when she was getting me hooked on scrapbooking. I still have a bunch, but I don't know where they are or who made them. Someday, maybe over the winter I'll find them OMG I literally just had these in my hand yesterday while I was organizing. They were in my old PSB. Remember those zippered binders? I have one for diecuts/embellishments and another for letters (thickers, sticker or rubons).

My old Craftrobo, cut some letters for titles but that was about it. Now my Cameo I LOVE, so much easier to use.

I so agree with the messy mediums and spray/mists comments. No matter how much I practice it just looks wrong.
I still have twistel, have been debating purging it. I have used it on a few layouts a LONG time ago. It's just too cutesy not to mention a royal pain to unravel.
I never got brass stenciling plates, it always looked like a 4 year old did it.

I "must haves" them all. ENABLER ALERT.....ENABLER ALERT..... Thanks Peas, I have a shopping list started. If I buy the thin metal dies a magnetic plate is a must. I raided TM for embossing folders and have been playing with them. I like that most were 2 or more folders/pack. AC Moore has them on sale starting today. Joann's has them online special sale too but their prices are higher than ACM. I might have to check out Aliexpress too. Good thing I have been working extra lately, I'm gonna need the cash!

I just bought a Big Kick on clearance and now want to know what are your must haves for the machine? I would like to hear what is everyone most used or favorite embossing/dies/accessories for their die cutting machines. I do not want to purchase many dies as I also have a cameo but I do see the advantage of some dies such as nestabilities. I was wondering which items you have found most useful?

Stopped at Tuesday Morning and they always have a ton of embossing folders. I am ashamed to say I induldged but tried to stick to folders that would be the most versatile. I can't feel too bad though because a lady next to me was doing the same and she picked up a smaller cuttlebug sized machine for $25. Made me feel even luckier that I got the Big Kick for such a low price.
Are there any more stores that carry dies/embossing folders for cheap? Any place online?

Saw a Big Kick on clearance at Joann's today for $40, to bad the extra % off doesn't apply to machines. I might go back and buy it. I saw they had a few embossing folders left on the clearance rack for $3.99 I believe. They were sizzix and Tim Holtz.

I want to start using embossing folders and maybe venture into dies that go with matching stamps. Should I invest in a big shot/big kick machine from the get go or invest in a cuttlebug? I have a cameo for most of my cutting needs already. I was looking at used machines on ebay. What advice can you give me?
Update: I returned to Joann's and bought the Big Kick, for $37.99 clearance I couldn't pass it up. I did notice that Joann's, ACMoore and Michaels seem to be clearing out all their Sizzix products. Michael's didn't even have an embossing folder in stock. Joann's and ACMoore only had Darice folders left. Joann's had a huge area for clearance for Sizzix that was sold out. I Noted that Joann's Darice folders are $1 more than the same folders at ACMoore. I plan to check out Tuesday Morning and Alixpress. Thanks for everyone's input.
