I had to think a moment to come up with stamps I just reach for. My favourite background stamp to use in my art journaling or to just create some texture is SSS Sketchy grid I like because its not just straight. I like to make cards and I am part of a Lawn Fawn Birthday send out thing..just like our 2peas Christmas accept its all year...This Happy Birthday Set has 18 different fonts and sizes of Happy & Birthday. I was so wishing they would have done this for Merry Christmas as well. But they haven't

One of my favorite stamps came with a UK papercrafting magazine. I'm not sure if there's an equivalent to link to anywhere, but it's a cursive calligraphy alphabet. Each letter has to be stamped individually to overlap but the end result looks like I'm good at calligraphy. No one realizes it's stamped! (ETA sorry, probably shouldn't have posted this one since it's not something currently available). My favorite Christmas stamp is this ornamental stamp by Concord and 9th. It looks amazing gold embossed. The sentiment can also be used separately - it's big and bold. concordand9th.com/products/ornamental-bundleThis is my favorite Christmas sentiment stamp SSS link

I am kind of obsessed with the Altenew floral stamp. It's quite small which makes it the perfect size for creating clusters on my 12x12 pages. A die is available but it's super easy to fussy cut. Altenew floral elements stampAnd I use this Studio L2E stamp a lot on my travel pages Studio L2E Wanderlust stamp

scrappington, thanks for starting these threads! My favorite stamps are currently the inexpensive ones on amazon. I don't buy direct knock-offs, but if someone does a cute Santa stamp or Ornament stamp from a pricey set, I try to go find something similar on Amazon to use instead. They're not as good quality, but I find I don't use the same image stamps over and over and for the ones I do (like sentiments) I buy the good ones.

I also wanted to add that I got an early cash Christmas prezzie (thanks mom!) and bought myself my first (gasp) set of Gina K. stamps. Full price, from Anchor Paper which is a local paper store in MN. They are the only store left that sells scrapbooking stuff in the Twin Cities, besides JA/M's and TM, so I took myself to Anchor Paper and spent 24.99 on the www.ginakdesigns.com/product/clear-stamps-you-warm-my-heart/You warm my Heart set. Loving it!!!

My most used stamps are ones that work together so I can personalize it - like the month circles from SC or the circle words from FYC. BUT affordability is key! I don’t have $28-$30 to drop on a set of 6x8 stamps. Or at least I can’t bring myself to do it.
And right now I’m mostly using stamps in my planner so small stamps please. ( which there are many out there )

I have way too many stamps and use them far too seldom. The ones I use most often are CTMH clear, SU! Wood stamps, and Taylored Expressions cling rubber.

Altenew Happy Birthday BuildierI use that Birthday Builder set so much, it's great. I currently love The Greetery's Robin and Wren set. I also just made a bunch of pretty cards using The Ton's Carnation stamp set. The Ton has gorgeous sets, I really love them. Really, though, I haven't met a stamp company I didn't like.

I have way too many stamps and use them far too seldom. You too, eh? It's hard for me to pick a favorite-- my favorites are the ones that stamp well without a lot of effort from me. I like Lawn Fawn, MFT, Unity (somehow I ended up with a bunch of unity stamps and I don't even really know why), Stampin Up, CTMH, Papertrey, Greeting Farm... what else is in my room? Oh, Mama Elephant... they just started a series of stamps and matching dies for the Chinese zodiac-- mouse and ox came out this month (or was it last)-- and now I'm going to have to have them all. Hope she doesn't catch on and make a Western zodiac, too, or I'm toast. Anyway, I just bought Caffinated and its dies from Paper Smooches... I have like five coffee sets already but it turns out I am drawn to the kawaii-type images and the chubby little cups in this set just make me smile so much, so right now that is my favorite favorite.

I also bought this Altenew stamp to use to make some Christmas/Holiday cards. I liked it when I bought it, but once i used it, I now want to use it again and again and again....

I have bought lots of stamps over the last 2 years but I find my favorites are some very, very old wood mounted stamps I bought probably 15+ Years ago. They are just tiny ornament and baby themed stamps that I grab over and over to make gift tags. Oldies but goodies.

OMG - I want all the stamps now. I did HAVE to buy the "are you serious clark" stamp. That is our family's favorite Christmas movie. I can't wait to get it.

I totally forgot about Anchor Paper! I haven't been there in years. I need to check it out. Anchor Paper is great, it is their hours that are crap. The Plymouth store is amazing and big and has a good sized clearance back room, but unless you work nights and have days free, or take a day off work, forget it. They stopped being opened on the weekend last year, and so basically M-F, 9-4:30 or 5. I think Wed they are open till 7. The Roseville store is the same, no weekend hours, but it is much smaller. I still love them though. What bugs me is they have these nice crop/cardmaking rooms with all sorts of diecuts, etc...and they sit empty because they are not open on the weekend.

Too bad they don't do a monthly Friday or Saturday crop. I am sure we could fill it with Peas! My DD doesn't live too far from the Plymouth location. I'll have to stop by. Come to think of it - I need to go to Ridgedale. Anchor Paper is on the way!
