Can you believe there are only 12 days left in the year.
My resolution is to comment more on people's work. Not just like it. Actually take the time too write something. At least one per day.
I did do a great job of actually spending time in my room this year. I got it set up really well. And I have been maintaining it's cleaniness or being able to at least work in there.
I like to continue using product I have never used before and just pull out a die or stamp set and just use it.
Id like to
continue just stamping off sheets of images, colouring another time , die cutting , so I have ready to go images for cards or what ever.

I have BIG plans!! 1) Properly prepare for my weekend retreat in February 2) Gather and complete all of my unfinished projects 3) Start a journal of stories I want to tell and get to work on them 4) Work through some of the online classes I paid for and never completed 5) Make Christmas cards in advance Do all this without buying anything except adhesive and white 12x12 cardstock. If I don't have it, I have to figure out a way to make it. Edited to add: I can buy photo printing supplies and/or pay for photo printing.

I'm freezing for the year - just adhesive, albums, photo printing, and replacing cardstock if it runs out. I have too much stuff and need to use it.
I want to finish this year's DD - first year doing it and I want it to get finished
Mostly though I'll be working on tyoping up the 100+ memories (handwritten 2-10 pages each) from my mum. And start scanning photos and slides and...figuring out a storage and sharing solution for the family archives.

I want to continue much as I have these last few years. I look forward to spending time with kids and grandkids, taking lots of photos, then coming home to scrap. In July we have a family reunion here, so more adventures to scrap.
My goal is to use my stuff rather than hoard it. I need to go through my scraproom after the holidays; make some room for what I have been acquiring, maybe put together a couple of boxes of papers for the local schools. Rediscover some supplies that have been out of sight out of mind for awhile.
I want a new camera. Hoping to pick one up after Christmas.
I need to find a better way to display my albums. They are taking up a LOT of space!

Love this thread!
I need to find a way to prioritize scrapping, to save my sanity.
I haven't touched my scrapping stuff since November, and I miss it. But several factors have kept me out.
Anyway, i plan on staying refrigerated. But i need some very basic stash that i plan on buying.
I need to take pics of myself, because no one else does.

For me, my goal is to be caught up. I SO behind and with five kids there’s so much to do! But over the past 5 weeks I have gotten 4 months of my 2019 book done (almost 60 pages)! I want to complete it, work in real time for 2020 and also go back to my 2011 book and complete from then on. Here’s to hoping to a productive 2020!

I just started a 365 so I want to finish that.
I want to continue to use up my supplies. I’m going to be on a spending freeze most of the year. I too want to use instead of hoarding. I wish I could go through everything and pick out my favorites to use now but I still have so much.
I want to finish my 2018 project life.
It would be nice to finish December daily before the summer begins. Lol. This year I finished in November.
I want to do week in the life.

I've been going through my supplies and purging and organizing. The holidays kind of slowed that down, so I want to get that done. Then I want to actually use my stuff! I have pictures and projects and no motivation. Need to figure out how to change that.

It's fun to see what everyone is going to work on. I went back and read my 2019 goals from the 2019 goals thread and some of them are the same. I seem to fall off the project life bandwagon around September. So I've got gaps in a few of my albums that need to be finished. I'm sure finishing 2019 DD is going to be a 2020 goal since I'm (only) up to day 6 as of this evening and I go out of town on Saturday so it won't be worked on for at least a week. I am contemplating a freeze for a while so I can use up some of the things I have on hand. I am going to cancel my CT sub. I have 4 unopened kits on my desk as it is, so it's time to take a break. I'd also really like to finish some of the classes I've purchased but not completed or even started in some cases. I really want to spend some more time practicing my drawing skills so I'm thinking of simplifying my memory keeping for 2020 and going with a hybrid 8.5x11 album. I need to do another purge so that's going on the list as well.

My goals for 2020. Make 10 Christmas cards per month for the Caring Hearts Card Drive. Complete the classes I've purchased. (Copic, Modern Calligraphy, Watercolor) Use the technique items I've purchased and have barely used (Nuvo mousse, alcohol ink, foiling) Update my Evernote file. And lastly - LIMIT the amount of product coming into my room to necessary items only.
Wish me luck on that last one.

My Scrappy resolutions are (1)to make total of 200 Christmas cards to given to and distribute among Caring Hearts Drive, Canadian soldiers, and for a charity that gives cards to sick kids in hospitals across Canada. (2) make cards for the 2 Peas card exchange...loved all the cards I got this year. (3)to send out birthday cards to my parents, father-in-law, and my immediate family. Also to make interactive cards for my young nephews and nieces. I bought so many interactive dies from Lawn Fawn and have not made one yet. (4)to send holiday cards to family and friends.
Hopefully in make all the cards, I start to make a huge dent in my craft supplies.

My goal for 2020 is to figure out a way to fit dedicated crafting time into my schedule and stick to it. Basically create a new habit. I’m thinking it will require a much earlier bed & wake time....ugh!

I really need to follow through on them! I keep the tabs open on my computer and then feel super guilty that I'm not working on them.

Never too early!
I would like to:
*Use my dies more often. I seem to use them just around holidays.
*Spend more time scrapbooking/crafting.
*Get back into card making
*Try some new techniques

My goals for 2020:
Stay current with project life (ha!) Create and send more cards. Keep my craft room tidy so I actually want to go in there. Limit purchases to only my two monthly subscriptions (only exceptions are necessities like adhesive or page protectors)

My 2020 goals:
1) Donate 1,200 cards (Cards for Soldiers, Cards for a Cause, Cards for Little Hearts, Bringing Smiles to Seniors, Send a Smile 4 Kids, Caring Hearts Card Drive, local nursing home) 2) Continue purging supplies (specifically wood mounted stamps and paper pads). Set aside dedicated purging time weekly. 3) Set aside dedicated crafting time weekly (split between card making and memory keeping) 4) Run all purchases through the filter of "Will I use this purchase to create cards for the above organizations this year?". Be realistic. 5) Use what I already own.

Love this, thanks for starting scrappington! 1. stay away from candy crush. Yes - this is scrapbook related - because I often think "oh, I'll just play one game of candy crush before I go downstairs and scrap" and then POOF! 2 hours is gone. 2. use my dies, stamps and mixed media more. Love it when I do, it's just effortful! 3. take more pictures and get them printed...currently, my most recent pictures are from october 2018!

Freeatlast, seeing your goal 1200 cards to donate to various charities inspires me to want to make more cards to donate than 200. I'm going to change my resolution to 400. Thanks for the inspiration!

I'd like to scrap again...
Due to my desk in our dining room being the family dumping ground and priority being on my other hobby (writing), it's been months...
We have half a bathroom sitting in front of my bedroom closet and DH has two weeks off, so that bathroom is getting installed! My closet is going to become my scrap storage (I don't have that many clothes) and I'm dragging a table up the stairs after Christmas. The only thing that I know I won't like is that my desk won't be near a window but we'll see how it goes...
I'm excited to leave a project in-progress and not find it smashed under someone's Lego creation or on the floor, or having to spend an hour finding my desk before I can make something.

So happy to have inspired you! I've had the same goal in 2018 and 2019 and failed miserably. In both years I had eye surgery/procedures that took months of recovery. I don't think I sent in more than 800 each year. Here's hoping for healthy eyes and motivation in 2020!

Love this question. Right off the bat I am going to go with take the 2 retreats I have in Jan and Feb to wrap up previous retreat projects. My wedding album redo and my years in Arizona are all within the possibility of being finished. A third project would be my 18th c. living history albums. I feel this could also be finished with dedication and time.
The primary goal I always have is to keep current photos scrapped. Right now I am behind from November. This is because my supplies are so disorganized that I have trouble pulling the product I need. My granddaughter's many photos are scrapped except for some odd ones from Sept and Oct, and then as I said at Thanksgiving it sort of all fell behind. I can't work on older stuff when current stuff is undone or it all becomes older stuff.
I have a long term goal of actually organizing my overwhelming supplies, but I know that will not happen this year. My son moved back home into the room I was going to move everything into and sort before moving it back to the what was once a scrapbook room. The only thing I can do is keep this on the 'before I die' list.

I want to make more time to scrap and to learn how to use my Cameo. I got it a couple of years ago and have barely used it.

I have shopped a lot more than I've scrapped this year. My supplies are surpassing the space I've allotted to them, so I'm adopting the 1 in 2 out rule. That has already kept me twice from buying things I really don't need. I do love what I have so I'm not looking to do a big purge, just use it.
Work through the classes I bought and have never started/finished Page goal of 50 LO's which is pretty lofty for me lol. Take more pictures (including of myself)

I am not shopping except for adhesive or necessities. I spent way too much in 2019 and my income has dropped significantly.
I will work on page kits and adding photos to them so I can scrapbook in my bedroom. My scrapbook area is in the basement and not very comfortable.
I will catch up on photos that need printing.
