Saw this on a blog I follow. Mine have changed over time because I like warm weather better than I used to.
1. May--al fresco dining season begins, peonies, 2. April--peepers wake up, things get green 3. June--tall grasses and wildflowers in the fields blow in the breeze, flowers in garden in peak bloom 4. August-hold onto to every day because it's summer until one day, it isn't 5. July-sunny and if it's gonna be humid, this is the month, fireflies 6. September-warm sunny days, nights are getting cool 7. October-beautiful, but Mother Nature's just distracting us from coming attractions 8. March-snow, ice, mud, snow, ice, mud, snow, ice, mud, mud, mud, mud 9. December-holiday fun and first snows are magical 10. November-gray skies for days and days 11. January-horrible but still in an after-holiday coma so easily overlooked 12. February-coma is over, shit gets real; no matter what the groundhog sees, don't kid yourself--there's gonna be 6 more weeks of winter

Yeah, I love fall. Warm and sunny in the daytime, cool at night. I am not a fan of summer weather. And then, being in SoCal our winters are mild so I like those months better than a hot summer.

June (summer) July (summer) August (summer) September (Indian summer) May (almost summer) October (possible Indian summer) April (teasing summer) November (random warm days) March (windy, but not usually cold) December (weird random warm days) February (weird random warm days) January (it was almost 60 degrees TODAY in South Carolina)
I'm a summer girl. I rank based solely on sun and warmth.

1. October 2. May 3. December 4. April 5. September 6. January 7. November 8. September 9. July 10. August 11. February 12. March
This is hard for me because I really like most of the months. Even August and February which are close to the bottom because I had to put them somewhere - I could just as easily have swapped them for 4 or 5. But March? No. It's not winter, it's not spring. It's wet, cold, muddy and brown. And not the January/February bright brown of nature taking a rest and pausing but the dirty, used up brown of road salt & ash and muck hidden under the melting old snow.

1. March (baseball starts, begins to feel there is an end to the darkness) 2. June (sunny days, but not hot) 3. April (ditto) 4. May (ditto) 5. July (starts to get a little too warm for me) 6. September (fall, cools off but still pretty out) 7. October (starts to get a little too dark) 8. August (sometimes too hot) 9. November (I like Thanksgiving, but too dark and cold) 10. December (I like Christmas, but too dark and cold) 11. February (too dark, too cold) 12. January (too dark, too cold)
I didn’t realize how delicate I was until I made this list. Apparently I’m unhappy most of the year.

I would imagine that the responses are going to be very different based on what climate people live in.

Whoever has rated the months of July, August and September anything higher than a 10 obviously does not live in Houston! We just put up with it so that we don't have to deal with snow and ice in the winter!
1. April 2. May 3. March 4. June 5. November 6. December 7. October 8. February 9. January 10. July 11. August 12. September
Really, numbers 10, 11 and 12 are a tie. Summer here is terrible.

I do this quite often as one of my methods of falling asleep. A lot of my reasonings apply to WA, as most of the year is warm to hot and sunny here, but my favorites haven't changed. I LOVE SUMMER!!
1. June. Summer, longest days. 2. July. Summer, enjoy 4th of July. Hot. 3. May. Early summer (I do live in Florida now, so this is definitely true). Beautiful flowers. Dark days are over for a while. 4. August. My birthday. Still summer. Doesn't rank higher because kids go back to school (and I don't even have kids affected). 5. September. Knocking on the door of fall, but still summer. 6. April. Woo hoo! I can feel summer around the corner! 7. October. Only because it's autumn but the weather can still be nice some of the time at least. 8. December. Christmas. Christmas decorations, especially the lights. 9. November. Thanksgiving. 10. March. Almost there. 11. January. Blech. 12. February. The absolute worst. Month more people get sick than any other in my experience. Summer is still a long way off. My sister's birthday month, so I miss her more than usual. Can't end soon enough.
In the year we've lived here, all but December and this January have been warm to hot (last January was very warm). That helps a lot!

I love them all. Except maybe March, when I’m ready for it to be spring, but I still have two feet of snow.
Yeah, March can eat a bag of dicks. I love every season, but sometimes winter sticks around longer than it should.

1. October - NHL hockey season starts; depending on international breaks, may still be NWSL soccer. my birthday, Thanksgiving, Halloween, may not be constantly wet & rainy 2. December - Christmas 3. July - warm/hot, vacation time. NHL free agency! 4 August - good & warm/hot; still on vacation 5 September - still warm, new school year, NWSL soccer playoffs here or close 6 May - tends to be better weather than June. NWSL starts in full. Plus still hockey. 7 June - crazy busy, plus erratic weather . But... Stanley. Cup. Playoffs. 8 April - NHL playoffs! Daffodils! 9 March - Erratic weather. But there's still hockey 10 February - at least it's shorter than January and November. And no football or baseball 11 November - my SAD kicks and goes until May. Plus I hate football 12 January - I get the January blahs. Post holiday let down. Plus I hate football

Being in the southern hemisphere, my seasons are opposite to most of you. Spongemom Scrappants I love your choices - that's pretty much the same for me. Summer, summer, summer, Indian summer, almost summer..... 1. January - hot summer, daylight savings, school holidays, quiet at work, days off, beach. 2. February - still hot summer, ditto all the above except school holidays are over. 3. December - first month of summer, Christmas. 4. March - first month of autumn but still quite hot. 5. April - middle of autumn, can still get come nice beach weather. Easter and Anzac Day public holidays, plus I take a week off work for school holidays. 6. November - last month of spring, starting to warm up, can get some beach days. 7. September - start of spring, football finals, my and DS's birthdays, week off work for school holidays. 8. October - starting to warm up, daylight savings starts. 9. May - not too cold yet. 10. August - last month of winter, I can SEE THE LIGHT! 11. June - Pffft winter. Thank goodness for football. 12. July - as above. Take another week off work to make myself feel better.

May - summer is just around the corner and the hope/potential all that brings even though it's England and there's no guarantees! June - long days and hopefully sunshine. Wimbledon! Sitting out in the evenings with a glass of vino. Little wild poppies start appearing in the hedgerows. July - as above August - Still sunny hopefully! September - often the time of year we go on holiday April - Spring, buds, new growth October - my birthday March - could get snow! December - Christmas..I'll just about being in the mood for it by then. February - Valentine's Day. Dh is a good gift giver and I normally get nice treat! Jan - At least we're past the shortest day and are heading towards Spring at last

All the hot ones are the best ones The late spring ones are still good because it is about to get hot The fall ones are sad because it is stopping being hot All the cold ones are my least favorite ones
My priorities are clear I suppose.
