Between stress, not being hungry, worrying about the food supply, and drinking 80% less alcohol, I have lost 10 lbs in 2.5 weeks. I can afford it. My appetite is still not there but I am probably eating a little less than what I should be eating anyway. Overall I figure it's a plus as long as I eat some - less weight, healthier, food lasts longer, use less TP.

I’m sorry for some of the reasons you’ve lost weight, but go you! My DH has lost 12 pounds to my 4. As long as we’re getting the nutrients we need to stay healthy it’s good!

I was worried about gaining weight being home, but my full anxiety has kicked in and I am finding I am not hungry anymore.
I usually swim everyday but my pool in my condo is closed so I have been jogging instead.

I think I am eating less too due to stress even though I am cooking a ton - I’m also not running as much but I feel like I’ve lost a couple pounds.....

fredfreddy, so many people are stressed and frightened. I hope that you will get your appetite back and now maybe it'll be easier to lose the weight intentionally. My dh's company is wfh right now and at the staff meeting this am everyone was talking about how they're gaining weight right now, except dh who is stringent, no matter what. He could loosen up a bit.

I'm sure I have - I'm eating less and barely snacking.

Nope. Even though I'm eating less, what I am eating is tends to be more snack/junk food.

Nope, I’m stress eating my face off. I am trying to stay with my healthy diet. Some days I do really good. Other days, like today, I am eating everything I see. I had a brownie for breakfast. I don’t even usually keep sweets in the house so why I made brownies...I have no idea.

I'm down a few pounds. I worked really hard the last couple of years to take all the weight off, and I'm paranoid to start gaining during this time so I am being extra dilligent. I'm not baking at all, I know I'll just inhale it if I do.
One thing that's helping me a lot is I still Intermittent Fast as my lifestyle. I've got the habit NOT to eat until 11 am, and not to eat after 6. Plus with IF you don't snack really, either. So that habit/discipline alone is helping me stay on track.
In my previous life I'd be eating non stop right now. I'm quite relieved that this IF thing, for me at least, is standing the test as a liveable lifestyle for me. My go to all my life has been food.

Yup, but due to the fact that I am not going out to eat for lunch anymore since I am working from home. We also are not going out to dinner 2 times a week. We did make one Raising Cane takeout run, but everything else has been home cooked stuff.

A little bit, and I'm sure there will be more, but it's a welcome loss.
It's from a combination of being mindful of portion sizes to make things last longer, not dining out or getting takeout, and not having as much of an appetite.

I have lost a few lbs as well. Last weekend I basically started doing IF and not eating breakfast. Lost a few lbs despite not really eating that healthy but was eating less. Since Monday I have been also following THM more strictly and still not eating breakfast most days. I have been continuing my elliptical workouts and have gone for a few walks. But overall I think I am more active even in the house than I am when working most of the time.

Yep. I've lost 5 lbs since last week. I'm not hungry. Don't really want to eat. It sucks. I know I need to. I feel better when I've been eating but the food we have isn't appealing to me. I like cheese and carbs. I've got the carbs but not much cheese and I'm saving it for my kids who don't get that we're out of stuff. I should be eating more of the "snacks" we have like granola bars, fig bars, stuff that's got some nutrient value. Instead, I'm eating bread with butter.

Me! I'm so stressed out about this whole thing. More so my job and money. I work at a small radiology clinic. We're still open for the urgent care needs that don't need a hospital setting, but we are super slow and while I'm glad everyone is staying home, We just don't know how long the company can keep paying everyone their full time salary. we are currently split into 2 groups working a week on and a week off. We know we are being paid through April 12th. After that, we don't know whats gonna happen. We have some savings, but thats taken a hit with medical bills and vehicles breaking down. We were just getting to the point of building it back up to where we wanted it and now this.

I've lost 6 and I'm not even trying currently. We've even been making some type of dessert almost daily or every other day for something to do!

My dh and I were already on a Whole30 round when this all started and we are very glad we have kept it up. I LOVE to bake, especially when I am stressed. But when I am doing Whole30 I avoid making as much as possible because I don't want the temptation around. We have had 3 birthdays in the last week (17th, 23rd, and today) and I feel sort of bad for my kids - I bought them store-bought treats, which I have never done because I always bake from scratch what they want. I'm down about 10 pounds from the beginning of the month. I have a lot more to lose.
Our plan is to Whole30 till Easter weekend, indulge then and then go right back on. Easter would have us at 45 days.
I'm also riding my Peloton and we have gotten the older 2 kids doing 50 min of strength/stretching a couple of days a week.
Fingers crossed I get to walk out of this at least 20 lbs lighter!

Yup, me. Just not hungry, no real supplies to do a huge cook up, and don't have the equipment to do any baking. Also not drinking much. Had bronchitis over the past two weeks and the meds put me off my booze.
Down 6 lbs, so far. Didn't necessarily need to lose it, but let's see where this goes.

Nope, I went from being a teacher and on my feet all day with no time to eat, to sitting in front of the computer all day with all the time in the world to eat. When this is over, I’ll be rolling out of my house like a baby seal😂

I wish I could eat less when stressed. I'm the opposite. I mindlessly eat, even when full. My mouth craves things and is never satisfied. I have to work the next four days so I planned out my meals and am trying to make better choices since I'm not really exercising. Another problem. Maybe I'll finally get out of my slump and kick my a$$ in gear for once and for all.
ETA: please eat and stay healthy, so that you have full defense on board to fight this virus if you're infected.

Nope, I’m stress eating my face off. OMG, this is me. I told DH last night that I miscalculated the impact of walking through the kitchen 200 times a day to get some steps in because I've been stopping to eat with each trip.

No, I'm picking/snacking a lot. DH bought one of those giant containers of M and M's at Sam's.
They are in a jar in our son's room-the back corner of our house. So at least I get some steps in when I go from the computer here to get a fistful of candy there, then back here, then back for another fistful, etc, etc...

I started working on losing weight in January. I’d lost some already and I’ve found it’s easier to lose weight when I’m not working - I tend to instinctively and naturally do intermittent fasting, which is much harder to do when I’m at school and locked into a schedule I don’t control. I’m also being much more mindful of why I’m eating and I’m snacking much less and sticking to smaller portions.
I lost more weight while on spring break and then we went right into the school closure, so I’ve been home for a while. I’ve lost a little over 20 pounds since January 8th.

The thing that has helped us the most is that we didn’t buy any snacking stuff and limited desserts. A big box of Ferrer Rocher for me, I have one a day, and a couple pints of ice cream for DH. We don’t have children and we don’t keep any snacks like chips or cookies in the house. We’ve always done that, except we didn’t keep the desserts here. So if we wanted something, we had to leave the house. Considering the weight loss, we did that more than we thought
