I got up early (for me, on a Saturday morning) for a 9 am webinar board meeting. I worked on my jigsaw puzzle while listening and waiting for the less-than-a-minute blurb I had to say.
I will maybe get the shepherd's hooks out and placed so I can hang the hummingbird feeders. The neighbor teen I’ve hired to do my lawn this year was planning to mow today but I’m not sure if it’s still really wet from yesterday’s snow or not. It’s sunny, but kind of windy and 54 degrees right now, so it may be drying out.

I am sitting here drinking coffee and trying to decide whether to scrub my kitchen from the ceiling down or keep binging the second season of Big Little Lies.

Working on my craft/flea market stuff shed. It's a good time for crafters who do fairs during the summer to get ahead with their products! If they can get supplies that is. I just hope we have them this summer!! I would really miss my yearly craft fair with my BFF. My local craft fair is the first weekend in October. Arts in the Park (annual art celebration in my town) has a craft show. It was rescheduled from April/May to September/October. I may try to get a booth there. Target was out of paint and canvases yesterday. May try to order canvases from Dollar Tree. I have been making things foe my new friend. I was hoping to give it to him before he goes home but I may have to mail it to him.

Now I am trying to organizing my pantry. So I can get to my freezer. Btw never put your freezer at the back of your pantry. I wish I had a pantry that big! Min is ten foot long, 6 foot wide and 12 foot high. My husband said there is 200 lineal feet of shelving. I like my pantry. Except for wheretge freezer is.

I got up earlyish, around 8am and sat and drank tea and did some knitting. It's the husbands first working day of the week so when he got up I sat with him while he ate breakfast, drank more tea and just chatted. He went up to work and I cleaned a bit, did some more knitting and watched a couple of podcasts.
We had a 'frisky' lunch break, husband went back to work and I did some sewing.
It's cold and wet and miserable here today so I don't feel too much like I'm missing out on going anywhere.

Got up and made bacon, eggs, hash browns and toast then put my sheets in the washer and had to lie on the couch and feel depressed.

For me life is largely the same except I can't wander around Home Goods whenever I feel like it or search for odd trinkets and artwork at thrift stores. Those things I miss a lot. But otherwise my day looks the same: 1. Sleep in until around noon since I am working tonight 2. Eat something and watch a show 3. Do my nails after eating (to keep spirits up, I'm changing polish every single day with a monthly theme, I find it soothing) 4. Work out and/or walk the dog--necessary decompression time 5. Get ready for work, far simpler now with my hair constantly in a bun and no makeup other than the basics on the eyes 6. Pack my work bag and bring clothes to change into in the morning. I've been changing out of my scrubs at work and putting them into a cloth bag so I can just drop the whole thing in the washer when I get home. My work shoes live in a large paper bag in my car and I switch with another pair in the parking ramp.
But if I get put on standby tonight I'm going to work on some craft projects.

I finally got Mt. Laundry all folded. Now I just have to get everyone to grab their piles and put them away. Next I’m going to finally tackle the rest of Big Little Lies, Season 2. I started it a few months back and then never went back for some reason.

I’m prepping walls in a bedroom for painting on another day... Already did yoga and some other workout stuff. Besides making dinner tonight that is all I have “planned.” I might read a magazine and work on my puzzle.

That's pretty much me too. Except I don't do nails. I am having a problem with less make up, as I have such splotchy skin, but my foundation rubs off on my mask all day. So I'm thinking of either switching to something different or no foundation.

Then I will do some laundry, clean the snail cage and try to tidy up my scrapbook room. Are these pet snails? I didn't know that was a thing. Have you never watched Spongebob?
We're having a quiet day at home. Dh is working a bit after a very busy day yesterday. Tonight we're going to watch Parasite. As I mentioned in another thread, I'm still on the hunt for a switch or Switch lite that we can get w/o going inside a store. I'll probably play a video game on my puter and then nap and then watch the movie.
Woohoo!

We were supposed to be stormy but I guess they missed us. I want to split some plants up and move them to a flower bed out front. That’s about it. I was looking forward to a good thunder storm day without tornados.

cindyupnorth my skin looks blotchy too and uneven but we're wearing a mask then entire shift except when eating so I don't really care. I can't stand makeup all over my mask so I'm just skipping it, so are most of us. It's a little odd when we see each other without our "faces" on and I'm tired of being told I look tired. I'm not tired, I'M OLD AND MY FACE IS NAKED you bitches lol But this also proves how much better I look with my full face on so I'll be resuming that once restrictions are lifted!

Washed dried bed linens. Worked on jigsaw puzzle. Went to pharmacy and picked up Rx. On way home bought a frozen yogurt cone. Now, I shall vacuum. ugh.
We will finish the puzzle and watch a movie tonight.

It is laundry day today. I’m taking advantage of having no where to be and doing loads of stuff that needs to be done but wouldn’t always make it in the hustle of weekly laundry. I can tell I’m not working because I haven’t washed any of my socks or work clothes in a couple of weeks.

I stayed in bed for a while this morning reading. Got up and made pancakes, cleaned a few things and then sat down to read some more. I’m going to make banana bread this afternoon and watch a few episodes of Project Runway with DD. Making chicken soup for dinner since it’s raining and then will probably read some more. I’m going to blow my Goodreads goal out of the water this year. 😂

Lazy day. I finally took a shower. Opened amazon packages that arrived a few days ago. Got a pretty new laptop cover since my old one cracked! Watching Phantom of the Opera with dd. I'm confused. Planning on an exciting dinner of leftovers and canned soup.

Its just regular french toast with brioche and chopped reese's eggs and put them between the pieces so they get super melty. It's delicious but doesnt even pretend to be healthy.

I have to wear my mask when I'm out on the floor, but when I come back to our office I can take it off.

My entire knowledge of Spongebob can be summed up in two sentences: He lives in a pineapple under the sea. Absorbant and yellow and porous is he.

I showered and blow dried my hair.
Played around on my sewing machine.
Watched a little tv and did some laundry.
I'm about to apply Loreal Preference hair color. Haven't done my own hair in 30 years.

For some reason, Saturdays are the hardest ones for me to get anything done.
I didn't even get out of bed until around 11:00 a.m. Had a nice chat with my mom on the phone. Got dressed, went to a friend's house to pick up the mail from my church mail box. She grabbed it for me yesterday.
I had planned to go to the grocery store, but the line to get in was huge, so I shall go tomorrow after our online church service. The same friend I saw today is going to join me so she can help me carry my stuff to the car. I don't need much - I just want to get out.
Today I am catching up on email. Sorting my Pinterest boards. There is an Instagram Live thing I want to watch at 6pm pacific, and then at 7 I am going to Facetime a friend.
