with another stay at home wkend?
I got up and made coffee. I only do coffee on the wkends, so it's my treat. I put a load of laundry in, put new wax in my warmer, put bird seed out to all my feeders, watched some food network, now surfing the net. Which is dangerous, because then I end up buying something. I need to mop my floors. I finally got the replacement part for my steam mop. I had ordered it from amazon, and it was over a month for delivery. I waited, hoping it would ship sooner, but it did not. So I ordered it from a replacement part warehouse and got it in 3 days. Tonight we will get some curbside pick up. Just need to decide where. It's an overcast day here, but on the warmer side 46F
Hope everyone has a good day! stay safe!

Is it the weekend? LOL
My days are all pretty much the same and running into each other. Get up, have coffee, maybe two (ok usually two). Think about getting dressed, play some ipad games, actually get dressed, make my bed, put any clean dishes away and clear up any dirty dishes. Start laundry if there is some to be started.
Usually around 11:00 I'll watch the Prime Minister's announcments. I missed that today. And then I'll do some emails, any cake work related stuff in the office (next to nothing these days) and then sit down and work on my diamond painting.
DH worked Tuesday-Friday this week, and next week it will be Wednesday-Friday. That will help with day of the week!
I'm hoping he'll get my storage space drywalled this weekend so that by next weekend I can paint the walls and maybe epoxy the cement floor.
Middle DD and her boyfriend will be moving in here next weekend - their lease is up and both of them are now unemployed, so they plan to mive this direction and get a fresh start. Yay! She's been 3 hours away for 4 years, so this will be nice.

My husband actually asked me last night, “So. What are your plans for this weekend?” 🤣
I told him I had plans to go to brunch, see my nephew, go on a hike, drive to the beach, get my car washed, browse Target. Seriously, I felt like that was a trick question too.
Actually though, I need to go through my old car so it can be picked up for donation and make sure there isn’t any random stuff left under the seats or it’s myriad of hide holes. Then I will do some laundry, clean the snail cage and try to tidy up my scrapbook room. We are having brunch for dinner though, so I am looking forward to that.

Working on my craft/flea market stuff shed.
Walking dogs
Watching reruns of NCAA gymnastics from this season (today was supposed to be NCAA Championship day)
Watching horse races at Oaklawn on TVG (2 stakes races today. On a normal Saturday morning they would have barn tours and interviews.)

DH and I were up late watching random crap on tv so we got up pretty late this morning. I used my new waffle maker to make a stack of chocolate chip waffles with strawberries, bananas, and Greek coconut yogurt. Mmmm!
We’re just about to walk the dogs around the Neighborhood. Later I’ll ride my peloton, FaceTime my parents and DD in the UK, and possibly clean the bathrooms ( although I’m more likely to continue crafting!)
I went to Costco yesterday and picked up some chilled meals so dinner for the next two or three evenings is done.

Up early to go to the PO, meat market and Target - finally scored a package of TP for the 1st time since staying home! Also picked up DS's Boy Scout award and merit badges for a virtual court of award ceremony next week. Parents will hand them out during the ceremony on Zoom. He finally made 1st class rank!
Now back in my craft room until mid afternoon and then outside for the afternoon/evening since we should hit 60 degrees today. Plan to make campfire pizzas and apple pies for dinner and will be good to get more yard and garden work done.
I'm working from home until at least May 13th so have a few more of these at home weekends. I'm starting to suspect my kids may actually go back to school for a bit in May. We'll see if it happens, I think if we give this a couple more weeks and things stay the way they have been I would be comfortable with that.

Catch up on a few work projects and then Dd and I are going to try making the Disney churro recipe they recently released. It’s gray and drizzling here now. It’s supposed to clear by dinner and we have plans to grill steaks and veggies.
There are a few clutter piles and dust bunnies I want to tackle.
Edit - the churros were an epic fail. Tasted like cardboard. No amount of cinnamon sugar could save them.

Laying in bed, trying to find the motivation to fold and put away the literal mountain of clean laundry next to me (a hazard of having my husband gone - his side of the bed mysteriously collects stuff ). I really need to vacuum out my dryer vents too. Fun, fun .

Working on my craft/flea market stuff shed. It's a good time for crafters who do fairs during the summer to get ahead with their products! If they can get supplies that is. I just hope we have them this summer!! I would really miss my yearly craft fair with my BFF.

I didn't buy any, since I have 2 big pkgs or Charmin left.

We need to go to the grocery store and will spend the rest of the day at home. I have my own laundry to do today and plan to wash my hair with my new shampoo. It’s not exciting but it is what it is.

Dh and I take a walk every morning. We always walk across the street from the neighborhood Trader Joe’s and there is always a line down the block, so we never go in. Today, it is raining, so there were only a few people in line. I now have three bags of frozen and prepared TJ’s food! Less cooking!
I am sewing and reading today. And trying to make sure the kids do not die.

Dropping off masks, hand sanitizer, Clorox wipes and Tylenol to mom, grandad and bff since they haven’t been able to get any, and waving to everyone through the glass. Oh, and a little something for a cousin’s baby I’ve only be able to see once. If I can’t pinch his cheeks at least I can see them Short road tr which means sing-along with DH in the car. It’ll be the first time I’ve left the house in over a month.

Well I went to Walmart this morning to get groceries. Such a relaxing experience these days. Got home, disinfected myself and the groceries (or put them in time out on our rarely used dining room table). Now I'm sitting here watching the Great British Baking Show and checking out our new neighbors who are having new appliances delivered. They moved in just when everything shut down and it's a brand new house so I don't know how they've been cooking and doing laundry until now? I really want to bake. I want to up my baking game and had planned to make a chocolate swiss roll cake. But dh is flipping out about his carb intake and how we do not need a whole cake in the house so I'm trying to resist. But...I REALLY WANT TO BAKE! I was really excited to try this recipe.

My husband's been building new shelves for our pantry. So I'm getting ready to polyurethane those.
Get a head start on some work-related stuff I have due next week.
Find a new Netflix show to watch. ☺️
Read.
I was going to weed the beds out front, but it's too cold/windy today. 🥶

I cleaned the bathrooms, did the laundry, pulled dead buds off the flowers, ate oats with a banana and had a cup of coffee while watching Flea Market Flip. Hopefully finish the book I am reading and start a new one.

I ran this morning. Went to Dollar Genera and post office.
Those were the first places I have been inside in over a month besides my own home. It was weird, but quick.
Now I’m showered and dressed for a day of house piddling.

Then I will do some laundry, clean the snail cage and try to tidy up my scrapbook room. Are these pet snails? I didn't know that was a thing. They are our Pre-K classroom pet. They are sheltering in place with me. 😺 They used to have a roommate, but they kept having 100s of babies, so they are a spinster snail now. I don’t think pet snails are a thing, nor will they ever be. We are just doing our part to keep Portland weird. (I use they because snails are both male and female, although ours has a decidedly female name)

Well, I'm sitting in a different place on the sofa (working from home, I have one spot the works best - moving down a spot today!!). Once I catch my breath from the excitement of the slightly different view of the coffee table, i'll watch an episode of Gilmore Girls that I haven't yet seen. Big times!!

Well, it's raining and my first thought was "a great day to stay home and play Runescape" [an online game]. Then I remembered "wait, where were you planning to go anyway?" hahaha So it's been a thrill a minute so far today: -- made coffee -- drank coffee -- rejoiced that Overdrive is working again so I could download books from my library -- walked dog, with dd -- that was fun because I enjoy walking the dog, and dd is home -- made waffles -- watched "Scooby-Doo" with dd -- played Runescape -- took a shower -- played some more Runescape Which brings me up to right now when I'm thinking of what to eat for lunch. Like I said...a thrill a minute.

I got up and made the bed. Does that count for two things?😀 I made a Dutch Baby for DS and me. I used a three egg recipe and mixed it in the Vitamix. It had the tallest sides of any I have ever made. I am going to sit here and read for the rest of the day.
