Hello everyone, I hope you're all well and getting plenty of time to craft Really looking forward to seeing what everyone is working on and to seeing jeremysgirl blanket growing.
I'm on the toes of my socks the feet went much more quickly than I thought they would.
How many projects do you have on the go at once?
I'm a monogamous knitter, I start one project and work on it till it's finished. I tried having multiple wips but it stressed me out!

Happy July, crafters! I am not a monogamous crocheter. I usually have three projects going at once. But my most recent blanket is keeping my attention better. So for now, I'm only working on that. I do have one other wip in my basket that I'm not excited about. And one other project in the plans that I have yarn for but haven't started. Here's my blanket so far!

Happy July! Eek... can't believe it is July already! This has been the weirdest year ever. Still working from home. DS just started daycare/preschool again yesterday for 1 day a week for now.
Other than the mega CAL, I finished another afghan last month! YAHOO! It is one of Annie's afghans. It is what I started before the CAL that some of us worked on. After the CAL, it was a breeze lol Gave it to my dad for Father's Day and stupidly, didn't take any pictures. I just started a new Annie's afghan, did the first months work in two days. Also working on a market bag, but need more yarn and Furl's is out of it. Might scrap it and start it with another yarn. BTW, has anyone used Furls crochet hooks? I got their "quarantine kit" with a hook, and wow. So love the hook. But can't justify spending so much on one hook to get more.
I will try to be around more this month. I have been struggling mentally with the shut in, but am getting back to my usual place. Sending hugs to everyone!

I have one crochet project going, but I donāt seam to be very motivated to finish it. My latest project has been a bit different, so Iām not sure if it really qualifies as a ācraftā, but Iām making my own adult size hula hoops!

It canāt possibly be July already! Happy new month everyone.
Iām still determined to make some inroads into either using my yarn or finishing one of my many WIPs.
I bought this yarn a while ago after falling for an item made in it by someone else. Nothing I tried with it looked right and itās been glaring at me from the bottom of the heap of WIPs till last week. I dug it out and made these squares in waffle stitch, which I love, and once I ferret in my stash and decide what colour to do a border, it will become a small blanket for the cat to lie on on my bed.

Some of you are so prolific, "monogamous" or not. Very impressive!! I tend to go in spurts. Little to nothing and then multiple things. Then zzz. It's going to be miserably hot for a while, hope to get some more done cuz I can't handle that heat. The latitude/longitude sign I made was staring me in the face, or it's backside was. It is chippy pretty too and I was looking at it thinking *expletive* it's a shame to waste that cool looking blank canvas. So I made it 2-sided. I think my DD will have hard time choosing which side to show. š And they are getting the sea glass they spilled back in form of a little seahorse plaque. (also posted this early am in June's thread). Spoiled day for that "kid"! I'm calling this side "A sign of the times." I'm headed that way tomorrow and plan on giving it to them then. The first pic is close up of the "polite expletive" and the second is a collage of both sides. As a reminder this was a panel from another old falling apart chippy door I saved from a burn. I hope DD likes the surprises as much as I did making them. gillyp I love the look and texture of those squares! Now I won't crispy waffles! gillyp

gillyp the waffle stitch was a great choice with that yarn. PLurker that looks great! You and your daughter must have a good sense of humor.

I am almost half-finished with my donut stitching. I'm working on donut #6-- there are 12 altogether. I'll be interested to see if I finish it by month's end or not. Some of them require MUCH more concentration than I realized. I've thought about starting another project while this one's still going, but that's not really practical-- I just do the stitching in the evening when SO and I are on the couch together. (I started doing it because I was tired of just wasting hours refreshing Buzzfeed.) I've got a good little set up with my supplies, but there's really only room for one project's worth.

I can't decide if this is finished or not. It's supposed to have a border but I'm thinking of leaving it off. The Havana mosaic blanket.

Love the projects! I stole the 3D printer from school yesterday to learn how to use it. Spent most of today trying to figure it out. Lots of help from friends and Facebook groups and I think Iāve almost figured it out. A bit more work to be done to get more solid fills but good enough so far. The DNA came from thingiverse and the Ally was created in Sure Cuts A Lot (that I use with my Cameo 3) and exported as a SVG file then imported to Tinkercad to size it and make it 3D and exported as some other file type then imported to Cura to slice it (no clue what that means) and exported as a g-something file and then imported to Repetier to print on my printer! WAYYYYY too many steps! But I taught myself how (with help from friends) to do it! Attachments:

Iām doing Junk Journal July (#junkjournaljuly) on IG. The journaling is a good outlet for my pandemic anxiety! The first entry is āHelloā. Iāve also been working on my dollhouse. Iāll take some good pictures and upload those soon. Iām really jealous of all the knitting and crocheting yāall do. So I think Iāll look for a good beginner video on YouTube. Any suggestions? Iāve NEVER done either one before.

seaexplore I found this t-shirt on a crafting site. I wonder if you could make it. I'd pay you, of course! But my sister's birthday is coming and her house is a jungle. I'd love to give it to her.

Eddie-n-Harley that's super cute! I love the donuts. That motif would be super cute on a kitchen towel.

Thanks for tagging me jeremysgirl . finsup I finished the Havana lap blanket my friend Debbie was working on. I did the simple border but with a twist. I highlighted the plain border with the same colour yarn I used for round 1. I did two rounds of UK trebles in the same shade and then a row of dc ( UK) in the same shade as round 1 and finished with a final dc (UK) of the main colour. I picked the Lincoln for the contrast as it was Debbieās favourite colour Attachments:

I can see you used Pic Collage jeremysgirl but I canāt see how you actually put the photo here. Would you explain please? JoP must have used pic collage. She sent me the collage as one picture. I just downloaded it on my phone and I add pictures through the Tapatalk app on my phone. Which doesn't contribute to the attachment space. Tapatalk is a bit wonky for reading and responding to threads. But it's super easy to add pictures. I use Tapatalk on my phone a lot in this forum. And since I almost exclusively take pics with my phone it's perfect. ETA: in Tapatalk there is a box below every reply to add a picture. You just click on it and it brings up your entire phone library.

I can't decide if this is finished or not. Ā It's supposed to have a border but I'm thinking of leaving it off. Ā The Havana mosaic blanket. I made the Havana blanket and put a double border on it. Pattern on both sides. It took almost as long as the blanket itself! I loved every minute of working on that blanket! I canāt see yours . The picture isnāt showing up!

Great socks! Iāve been on a sock bender.... Iāve done 4 pairs during the pandemic . I realized how simple and fun they are. The handmade sock society has some great and easy patterns

I think the mosaic border from the pattern is gorgeous but it looks time- and yarn- consuming, and I'm feeling kind of 'done' with this project so this would be a good alternative.
