Watching Texas Chainsaw Massacre and the scene...."Sally, Sally, Sally... don't go". I don't know a Sally. Anyone know one?

I'd say that name is from the Betty/Dorothy era.

I know at least 4. One is a second cousin, the other a dear friend, one an acquaintance and one a fellow scrapbooker at our retreats.

Hmm. I have never known a Sally. I'm trying to think of any occasion that I have met one, and I can't. There are no distant relatives or friends of friends ( that I've heard of) named Sally.
How weird!

My GP's practice manager is called Sally. My friend has an aunt called Sally, and I used to work beside one. The youngest of these three is probably about 62.

I know several people called Sally - one of whom told me that it means princess. It has been a very popular name in England for a very long time.

I know, or have known, quite a few Sally's from the youngest at 3 years old to the oldest who must be in her 70's I guess ( not sure exactly how old she is). But most of them in the 35/45 age group. I can think of six at the moment in that age group.

I went to school with a Sally. She'd be 58/59 now. We used to have a Sally work for us. She'd be early to mid 50s.
