I’ve already started making my cards for the swap, shopping from my stash. Mine won’t be a traditional type of holiday card but I’m having fun making them. Really something I look forward to!!!!

I will be in this year - missed out last year due to have had surgery but some how did receive several cards anyway which was a lovely surprise.
I have been choosing a design or two to make and have plenty of holiday paper in my stash. I’m ready to go😁

I'm hoping to join in this year, if I do it will be my first. I feel bad that I will only be able to make a few cards and the rest will be store bought. Hoping that will be ok...

I loved it and will do it again. I was surprised by how much DH enjoyed it, too. @leowife I am in awe of your generosity in agreeing to handle this again. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I agree!! My two grandsons 6 & 8 couldn't wait to open them. They were amazed that so many people would send cards. "We only get a few"
Thank you so much leowife!!!!

I've never done this but I love card swaps. Can you choose how many cards you want to send out, or do you have to send to the whole list?

Thank you leowife for organizing the Christmas card swap. Yes! I'm definitely in! I'm not ready to even start thinking about the holidays but this made me smile.

This will be my 3rd year in the card swap. I sent to everyone in the card swap for my 1st year. Last year, I sent about 25 cards.

I had so much fun with it last year. I never really made cards before and so mine were amateurish. But I pulled out my years-neglected scrap supplies and had fun playing and being crafty again.

After much thought, I’m going to join again. I skipped last year due to DH’s health issues. He’s in a much better place now and I need something fun to do.

I am defiantly in this year! I had to skip last year because DH lost his job, and was showered with just as many cards by the wonderfully sweet and generous Peas-almost 100 cards! They lifted our spirits so much last season. This year all is well (DH found another, better job in January and is still working this same job from home) so I'm very excited about participating in the card swap this year as I have for many years.
If any newbies are hesitating I've been in the swap for probably 5 years now and I can tell you it is absolutely amazing! It's such fun to create cards but if that's not your thing, no worries. Purchased cards are fine too. It's the spirit behind the swap that matters. It's such a highlight during the busy season of Christmas and Hanukkah to check your mailbox every day and find such heartwarming cards coming in. For my family it is a highlight.
Thank you again leowife so much for organizing this swap especially after what some nasty folks did to you. You are a very strong woman and I very much admire you.

ladies....aww you make me smile. I love the swap, it brings every single person that visit our home at the holiday such joy. To see family standing and looking at all the cards, smiling and laughing it make me happy. On the fence look at it this way. Crop day at work, get home and check the mail, open up an envelope filled with joy. A smile comes across your face and your heart swells with love. Join and have fun!!!

I skipped this last year because I felt too busy to send any cards.
I missed it so much ... I’m definitely in this year. Lord knows I have plenty of spare home time now!
Thank you @leowife ❤️❤️❤️

I had voted maybe but then changed to Yes. (I know that's not what you asked..LOL). The past two holiday seasons have sucked for me with my dad being sick in 2018 and 19. Then he died in early 2020 and this year will be even worse but I think this will help.

Ladies, thank you. I am really looking forward to this!!! Can I ask for those that said no, why? No meaness please. I am a maybe leaning toward no. It sounds fun and appealing, especially since the usual holiday activities will be curtailed or cancelled, but I’ve got some major projects on my to-do list that I wasn’t able to do at the beginning of the pandemic because I was recuperating from surgery. So I want to make some progress now. I haven’t made my final decision yet.

Thanks again to @leowife for organizing this again this year. I’ve only participated 2 years so far but I love it ! After a busy day, every night after dinner I sat down to open my envelopes of joy ! Be it a store-bought card or home-made, it was a thrill to open. Even the stamps and what state or country they were from, was exciting.
Already started planning. Hope you will too 😀

I voted maybe but have changed to a yes. Supplies have been ordered from Stampin Up. Is it o.k. to do just a panel card, like the card front but no inside?

Last year my husband had just lost his job, and I was only able to send to about 60% on the list. We were amazed at all of the cards we received! 🥰
I am looking forward to it this year.

I have participated a few times and it was a lot of fun. I was sad about the drama a year or two ago when someone accused the international peas of not sending out any cards. For me, 100% of the people on the list represent international post as I am the only Pea from this country. This makes it very expensive to send to everyone. For US peas, only about 5% are international. So, what I usually do is send to all the international peas on the list (Australians, Europeans, etc) as I figured that they would receive fewer cards and then I randomly choose another 15 or so US peas, depending on how many cards I have. I would like to add though that a large number of Peas came out in defense of us Int peas and were very understanding about our situation, this made me rethink and I am now considering taking part again this year. I agree with what others have said that this year we really need something to look forward to. I have been preparing by making more cards so that I can hopefully send to more people this time but I can't promise that I will send to everyone. Hope that's okay!
