The 2Peas Refugees band/orchestra/ensemble!
I have a flute and a fife.
I should pull them out and play them now that I have braces again for an elementary school/junior high flashback 😁

we have one electric bass guitar and amp (my daughter in new zealand said to get rid of it but we will see---she took her tuba to new zealand with her) one acoustic guitar (my son's) abour 4-6 didgeredoos (dh's) 4-6 drums (dh's) two flat hand held skin drums (dh's) a viola (mine from school) a clarinet (my other dd's from school) maybe a recorder
my brother has my grandmother's piano--if he hasn't gotten rid of it..she was a concert pianist. my mom and dad were very fond of music.. I grew up immersed in it but I am more of a singer.
dh is a great rhythm player.. does ok on the didge.. and can do tuvan throat singing but you wouldn't want him to sing anything. his dad was big into music and dh loves to listen to music all the time..anyone ever listen to the grateful dead for 6 hours in the car?

Cadoodlebug, that's an awesome clarinet lamp... very unique. I love music and have played since I was a little girl. Playing the piano is a great stress relief for me. In our house we have the following:

I am the only non musical one in our house. Dh and younger son play the guitars, there are 3. Younger son also does electronic music on his computer. Older son started teaching himself the harmonica in March. He now owns 6. And an electric keyboard they all use/

Did anyone else have to google 'ocarina' and 'viola de gamba'? I've never seen either of them in person.
What a musical group we have!
I grew up playing flute, and still play on the (refurbished) flute I had in high school. DH loved to play blues guitar and was teaching himself keyboard, but the neuropathies in his hands put an end to that. DS just graduated with a clarinet performance degree, and will try any instrument you put in front of him.

Various amps, microphones and other recording implements Five billion music stands, but never one nearby when you need it

We have a few. One electric keyboard (one was given away) Two acoustic guitars Three electric guitars Two bass guitars Two ukuleles One mandolin One violin One trumpet Two harmonicas (proper ones!) DS used to have bagpipes, but they were borrowed from the school and thankfully he gave them back when he left. We also had an upright piano in our last house but there was no space here for it so we sold it.

My oldest brought her bass guitar up last weekend, so it's the only one in the house right now, but it usually isn't. Now her house is full of them because her husband is a drummer in a couple of local bands.
