We have: * a full-size electronic keyboard * a bongo drum * 2 flutes * the drum pads & guitar from xbox RockBand, LOL! We used to also have a full drum kit with several cymbals, including crash, but we sold them after DS graduated HS and was no longer playing. (I kinda miss him playing, LOL! But I think I'm the only one who misses it.) We also probably have a plastic recorder somewhere from someone'e elementary school days, maybe forgotten in a closet or the attic.

4 guitars - 1 Dh, 3 mine 2 mandolins - mine Keyboard - mine Pennywhistle - mine Ukulele - mine
Latest guitar acquisition, my Martin 000-15, probably gets played the most. Dh plays a bit, Ds plays when he is here (he really likes the new guitar), he’s pretty talented. COVID has ended his music gigs for the time being.

We have an acoustic guitar, an electric guitar, an electric bass, a keyboard, and a clarinet. There are probably various recorders that have managed to escape my decluttering efforts. DD and DS have both been teaching themselves to play the guitars during our shelter in place.

Piccolo 2 flutes Oboe
My middle daughter played flute and oboe in high school. She’ll play piccolo in college if they play. The other flute was my youngest child’s. He doesn’t play anymore. I’m hoping to teach my myself to play sometime. I have videos and stuff. I’ve always wanted to learn to play an instrument. I figured this is an opportunity.

Acoustic guitar Electric guitar Electric bass guitar 115-plus-yo upright piano Flute Trumpet Bugle Electronic keyboard Violin Ocarina (and there's a drum set on permanent loan to one of DS' friends) (oh, and a completely non-functional electric guitar that was stripped down and stained but never rebuilt by late DH that hangs as an art piece in the living room where the other guitars hang)
DD also has at her apartment: Electric guitar Acoustic-electric guitar Alto saxophone Another ocarina (the keyboard at my house is hers but she doesn't have room for it)

An acoustic guitar, Music Maker lap harp (that you slide the paper with notes under the strings), a tribal drum (djembe), various other little percussion instruments like a tambourine and rattles, a set of zills (finger cymbals), a mouth harp, harmonica.
I used to belong to a women's drum/sound circle and every once in a while we would get together and "make joyful noise". At least that was the point. It was fun though.

-upright piano, bought in 1908 by my great grandmother! -full size electronic piano -acoustic guitar -electric guitar -2 recorders -French horn -alto sax -2 flutes -2 ukuleles -harmonica -2 melodicas -Kalimba -otamatone -slide whistle
That’s all I can think of! It looks like a lot when I put them all together like that! My son really wants a piccolo too (he is an avid flutist and wants to study flute in college... says every flutist needs a piccolo too!) but I can’t afford another instrument right now 😅

2 flutes, 1 piccolo (I used to play professionally many, many years ago) and 1 accordion. It's been years since I've played. I break out my flutes every now and then and realize how much I miss playing. Then they go back in the closet for another 5 or so years.

We have a clarinet, a snare drum and full complement of sticks and mallets, bells/xylophone, acoustic guitar, electric guitar/amp, ukelele, and piano.
Probably a harmonica somewhere, lol.

that's a lot of instruments! we're both middle-aged and don't have kids, so we don't have any 'kid' band instruments. I used to have an oboe for a while, years ago (it's what I played in high school), but never found a group to play with, so I got rid of it. I also used to have a small baby grand piano but sold it when we moved into this house- there wasn't space for it (and I never played it; I felt kind of bad for it, actually).
My DH is an amateur musician in a group, so one of the bedrooms is his music room- he has an electronic drum set and four bass guitars (one isn't playable right now; he was trying to upgrade something on it). I would say the three playable guitars are a small 'collection' now... one of them is a fairly rare, vintage 1980s Steinberger guitar, and another is one he's owned since the 1990s. He'd love to have more; there's just no space for them.

My husband has a hurdy gurdy that he put together from a kit, but it doesn't sound very good. We also have his fiddle, cittern, bodhran, and various penny whistles and things. Some random harmonica. A small electronic piano, and a guitar (mine, though I don't do much with it.)

the third grade Devil's flutes are long gone This gave me a HUGE chuckle and kind of made my day...ahhhhhh the recorder days. Funny story, when DS was in 4th grade, he played Little League. He was also "learning" the recorder in music class. The music teacher said that they were going to have a recorder recital on a Tuesday evening. Well, he had a game. As did several of the other kids in his class. She was LIVID and told the parents that if the kids skipped the recorder recital for a baseball game they would get an "Unsatisfactory" on their report card from her. Let me just say the principal shut that down real fast. A recorder recital??? For 4th graders? My ears hurt just thinking about it! Anyway, we have 2 bass guitars, 2 electric guitars, 1 acoustic bass, 1 acoustic guitar, a keyboard, a coronet and a drum set. And a mandolin. As well as a mic'd PA system for DS to sing. In before times both DS and DH were in a band. Poor dudes.
