I thought we could help each other out here in preparation for Prime Days which are Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm not a gadgets girl, but I'll be looking for a Food Saver. It's just for me, so it won't get a ton of use. I often cook 4-8 servings of an entree and freeze the remainder in single serving portions. I'd also like to pre-marinate proteins and freeze them marinated but not cooked. I'd like to parcel out things like shredded cheese (which I use very rarely) to freeze, etc. I'd also like to be able to mail baked goods like quick breads and have them stay fresher while on their way to the recipients. Wondering if anyone wants to share an opinion about which model would be best for me, which accoutrements I want, and what a decent price is. I've been looking at Kohl's this morning and they've got them on sale ranging in price from $100 to over $300, so I wonder if I even need to wait for Prime Days? Anyhow, who's next? Is there something(s) that you'll specifically looking for? Things you need advice on before purchasing? That sort of thing....and thanks for any advice you can offer on Food Savers I assume by Food Saver you mean a vacuum sealer. FYI, you can't vacuum seal shredded cheese. It just smooshes back into a block. Trust me, I've tried. Some vacuum sealers have rigid containers.

Funny, the news was just talking about it. One tip they said, put the item in your cart now and see if the price drops during Prime days.

I have a Cosori 5.8 qt air fryer and it's been great. I got mine last year on Prime day. I don't have room for the oven style and this was the shortest model I could find that has a larger basket.

I went to look at it on Amazon and it said regular price of $130, but if I ordered it through Alexa, it was only $65. So I did.

I need air purifiers. Two small room sizes and then one large room. The options are so confusing so if anyone has recommendations.

Oh lawd, I am more confused than ever about an air fryer. I will check out the one at Costco. We do have a membership there. Thanks. The Cuisinart has a good sized flat basket, a rack and a pan/drip pan so you can air fry, bake, convection bake and toast with it. We can cook a pizza from frozen solid to done in less than ten minutes. We love ours for convenience foods, appetizers and reheating things that we don’t want to get soggy in the microwave.

I’m looking for an air fryer and air purifier, too. Amazon currently has a spend $10 on small business, get $10 gift card for prime day promotion.

I'd also like to be able to mail baked goods like quick breads and have them stay fresher while on their way to the recipients. I haven't tried to seal something like that but I would think they would be squished when all the air is sucked out of the bag. elaine might be able to give you more direction. I use it mainly for sealing large (Costco, Sams') purchases of meats. Also, every time I go to Costco I buy a rotisserie chicken and pull all the meat off the bones and freeze in small packages for different recipes such as chicken divan, Chinese chicken salad or chicken noodle soup. I do that too with the Rotisserie chicken, I buy five at a time and debone. I save the thighs to fry in a pan for a bit with lemon-pepper butter (my families favorite) for dinner that day and then freeze the rest for other recipes. I usually put it in Freezer bags. Is this a less expensive way to freeze them?

I saw Alexa dots are $18.99 again. And if you shop at Whole Foods and use their app, they give you $10 credit for Prime Day. And they really do! I stopped at Whole Foods the other day and got 2 $10 off credits.

I finally decided to get an air fryer. I'm hoping they have a good price on one with all the bells and whistles. Same. I'm looking for two, for Christmas gifts.

I’m looking for a train table for Nathaniel for Christmas. I want more than a basic one-something that has cool bridges or tunnels or twirly ramps or something. Something like thisI’d also like a new backyard trampoline

I am keeping my eyes out for tv deals... My living room tv is a “throwback” smart tv from 2012 and no longer so smart! There are already some early ones out there. I was reading an article earlier that I, of course, cannot find now. The same article said that Walmart, Target, Home Depot and other stores have announced sales for those two days too. I'm hoping the Instant Pot drops. The Pioneer Woman one is one sale at Walmart but I refuse to put money in that woman's pocket.

I’m looking for a good, lightweight vacuum. If anyone has any suggestions – I would love to hear them! I have a super expensive shark vacuum, but it is so heavy and hard to push I absolutely hate it!

I’d love to find a small handheld vacuum/Dustbuster to help clean up the dirt, grass, crumpled leaves, etc. my dog tracks in after she goes out on a walk. I have one but unfortunately it doesn’t hold a charge anymore so I’d love to replace it.

I'd like to find a deal (prime day or elsewhere) for an easy-up type canopy thing with sides or at least with sides you can purchase separately. Can be the normal 10x10 or bigger.
