I have never participated. How many cards do you have to send out? I the past there hasn't been a set amount of cards you have to send out. You pick names from the list and send as many as you like. The first year I think I sent 30. The next two years I think I sent about 50. Don't feel like you have to send that many though. |

I've participated in past years and was wondering if we'd do it this year. Last year I was undergoing chemo and getting all the cards helped keep my spirits up. I can't wait for Christmas. lol As for numbers; there's never been a set amount. What I've done is sent cards to either everyone on the list or sent to the ones I "know"/interact with and then sent to the others who've sent to me. You can pretty much do it as you wish.  Kat |

Thanks for doing this Angie-it is one of the highlights of my Christmas season! I just love going down to the mailbox every day and peeking in to see what new cards might await me from Pea friends across the USA, and some even from Canada or over the World.

I have a question: is it possible to sign up to be a sender but not a receiver? I am not nuts. We have a long-running postal strike on at the 'mo. Rumours are that it is about to be settled (yada yada) however some say the outgoing mail is fine. If this is the case (I will check) I would like to receive the list and send some cards.

Hi there- we are pretty inured to this stuff, not dependent on the mail, all electronic and courier based (lots of jobs created). Now that I think about it, the last thing I personally posted was my ornament, nov last year! The only thing I am "missing" is a parcel from the USA, sadly. I appreciate your reply, will ask my office lot to check about outgoing mail. And while we are chatting, as you are the organiser I will repeat what we told peaname last year: No good deed goes unpunished  |

Just signed up! Can't wait to hear the kids asking who all these people are, lol.
Now the decision is do I want to make some cards or start looking to buy some..... my daughter just started to make her own carved eraser stamps, perhaps I can commission her to make something cool to share with all of you on my card.
