I haven't participated in this before and am not this year, I just have a question. Do most people send to everyone or do you pick a specific number? An if you pick, how do you pick? To be honest, part of the reason I didn't sign up on the old board is I only had about 1000 posts so not well known. I was afraid if people chose who they sent to I wouldn't get any, and I didn't want to be disappointed. Silly, I know. :-)

I knew there would be an expense but I wanted to do it. This board and the awesome ladies on it are a big part of my "fun" time. I have gotten lots of tips and help so I just consider it a way to give back. With all the electronics these days, it's so nice to get a "real" card in the mail. Since it was too short of a time for me to make 80 cards, I bought mine. But I am already thinking ahead and will make some cards each month for next year. ; ) I also regret not signing my card "from Maryland". Some cards I have received signed both user name and location and that seems fun. Next year I'd like to add a little more creativity. Thankfully I have lots of time to plan. if if you send me your address, I'd be happy to send you a card. ?

Tricia, please join next year! You can send as many or as few as you want. To be very honest, this is the first year that I sent one to every person on the list and I've participated for a few years.

Do I need to go into the PO for special postage? please advise. Thank you.

The international cards need a special stamp. I think it was $1.10 each.

The international cards need a special stamp. I think it was $1.10 each. It's $1.15 if it's under an ounce without an uneven / bumpy surface. You don't need a special stamp, just enough postage (if you want to avoid the post office).

Thanks for the answer I was wondering about that also because I never mailed anything international either.

I sent mine all out on Saturday. I was already working on making my cards for family and friends when the opportunity to join this exchange came up. So I just made a bunch more in anticipation of how many would be on the exchange list. I have to make some more cards, but I am going to do a different design and hope to have those out on Monday to the rest of my family and friends.

I have received 7 cards already and it warms my heart every time I open one. I sent all the international cards out today. I am sending all other cards out in the morning.
The cards I sent are handmade and reusable. You will understand when you see it. The inside is not lack of effort, it's for ease of removal and reuse. (If you so choose)

I want to send cards to everyone on the list. In order to do that I have enough cards already bought (from past years) that I can use. The problem is my husband was out of work for 6 months of this year, so being able to use those cards would really help. Half of these cards are religious in nature. If you are Christian and don't mind receiving a religious card, could you please send me a quick pmail, or just let me know here? I really don't want to leave anyone out, nor do I want to offend anyone by sending an atheist an angel card.
Am I overthinking this? Probably. It's the perfectionist in me. So if you are a Christian please pmail me. Thanks so much!
Debbie in MD.

I am also good with any kind of card. I will say I bought four boxes of cards and some have scripture in them some don't. If I offend anyone I apologize.
