I live in between Dallas and Fort Worth and the Ross in my local shopping center boarded up 5 days ago. It’s in a fairly suburban area away from where I would expect most protests to be if there are any.
A friend posted pics of her office in downtown Dallas being boarded up as well.
Add me to the **NEVER IN MY LIFE** list. I’m so sad about this whole situation

They boarded up Marshalls, but then took it down.

DD is assistant manager in a suburban outlet mall ( an outside mall). Her chain sent email that she is authorized to board up and close the store if a situation arises. I said, who does the boarding? She had no idea and couldn’t imagine going to Lowe’s to buy boards, nails, etc.She said she and the crew would lock the doors and go out the back door. I hope nothing happens here or anywhere. Usually the property maintenance will do it, or a local handyman. All was well during the business day Tuesday. She has off Wednesday and works the weekend.

I really don't know. I seldom go downtown.
I have a friend that is an RN in Indy. She said they've been doing it there.
