I'm sure this has been discussed a billion times but my emotional and physical energies are just shot.
My family has voted for ham for Christmas. My brain is just refusing to come up with some good sides. It'll just be the 4 of us, and I probably don't want anything too exotic if it takes too much effort because my kids are really picky - so no roasted root veggies or anything like that. And no green bean casserole because I hate that stuff! We do have dessert figured out.
Thank you for being my brain for me!

I make cheesy (diced) potatoes, sometimes scrambled eggs (that's a family tradition thing). Asparagus usually if I bother with a vegetable. I've got an easy recipe for the potatoes if you'd like-- it even includes a can of cream of chicken soup.

We always have ham for Christmas and I always cook scalloped potatoes with it. And some kind of vegetable, usually green beans (not the casserole, just plain with maybe lemon pepper on them) and sliced carrots (or whole baby ones. I do the carrots for color on the plate, lol. Also dd doesn't like green beans. That's it. Sometimes I put out a dish of several kinds of olives. We're not fancy here.

I vote for scalloped potatoes because that’s what I’m making. I do make mine from scratch because I make mine dairy free. DH gets a dairy free base with shredded cheese between the layers. I sit and sniff his, it smells so good!
Even easier is baked potatoes. Fancy them up with sour cream and chives if you feel like it.
Im not sure if I’ll make green beans with almonds and cranberries or if I’ll do peas with pancetta. Both are easy and delicious!

We are having ham for Christmas and my kids requested Beecher's mac and cheese. Costco sells the frozen "family" size so I already picked it up and have it read to go in my freezer. We will have a green salad and a couple of veggies too.

We have a family recipe for a cheesy/sour cream/green onion potato dish. It's seriously my favorite part about Christmas dinner. I make a ton of it simply because I want the leftovers.

I always do scalloped potatoes with ham ... and I'm lazy and do the kind from a box so go with that if you really want easy My mom always made scalloped potatoes with ham, so it doesn't feel right to serve it without either her scalloped potato recipe or my cheesy potatoes. Cheesy potatoes were always assigned to me when we used to have family holiday gatherings, even if a turkey was being served instead of ham because they went well with either meat.

Three Cheese Potato Bake and Asian Broccoli. Both so easy; just dumping and mixing. We have it every Christmas with our ham

Scalloped potatoes, a green veggie (typically green beans that are quickly cooked on the cooktop with sliced almonds added in), some cranberry sauce (canned). If I'm doing the ham for thanksgiving or Christmas, then I will also make cornbread dressing.
You can buy oven ready scalloped potatoes at Costco, Honeybaked Ham and probably your grocery store that are really good. That makes it even easier.

We do a potato casserole...bonus, you can make it ahead and it can also be frozen.
Basically mashed potatoes with butter, cream cheese and sour cream and sliced green onions. Everyone absolutely loves it!

I agree with cheesy potatoes... im not sure what scalloped potatoes are...
I dont like the cream of mushroom soup in green bean casserole... so i just put green beans in a pan crumble some cooked bacon on top and top with the fried onions... its my version of green bean casserole... my dil told me she never like gbc because its all mushy but she loves mine... well duh cuz it doesnt have the soup in it....
If thats what you dont like about gbc this is an alternative....
