Maybe they think that they’re special and the rules shouldn’t apply to them. Metal detectors should be for visitors not them. Talk about White privilege.

This is great!  I hope they are all fined for their childish behavior.  Unfortunately, Steve Womack is my Representative.  I am disgusted by his juvenile tantrum.  FFS the man is a veteran who served in Afghanistan and should know better. A bunch of Trump-humping babies, all of them....

When entering the courthouse for jury duty (Arapahoe County, CO), we had to go through a metal detector.  Why is this difficult?  Snowflakes...

Unfortunately, it all depends on how they are flying.

If they fly commercial, yes, they have to go through TSA and check their guns. 

If they fly on private aircraft due to the largesse of GOP donors, then no, they don’t and can carry whatever they want to onto the private jet. 

When we go to our daughter's university's football and basketball games, we go through a metal detector, have to use clear see through bags and they still check everything. It's really not a problem! The football stadium holds about 65,000, so a lot more people than going into the Capitol at once. We have had to wait in a long line when it felt like 100 degrees, when it felt like 20 degrees, in the rain, etc. And for basketball season, it's usually cold. If it's a big ACC game, we are waiting in a long line in the cold/snow outside the arena. They really have no reason to complain! If they don't want to go through a metal detector, find another job. It's really not that hard.


And maybe if they worked harder on gun control, this wouldn't be necessary!
