I haven't seen them in person yet but I watched this YouTube video and she found dies at her Dollar Tree! (The portion with the dies starts around 6:15.) I'm pretty surprised DT is carrying them since they're quite a niche product (due to having to already own a die cut machine to use), but it's definitely a good deal if you like the designs!

Wow! This is just another example proving how overpriced metal dies are from stamp companies.

Hmm wonder if they are knock offs made in China? My guess is yes. I figure they are a lot like the ones from AliExpress. I have a few sets of them and they work fine. I was excited to find the new Crafter's square wooden words and shapes a few weeks ago. They are very similar to the ones that Michaels sold for $4.

I pass by a Dollar Tree on my way home. I’ll have to check it out. Thanks for posting.

I stopped in my Dollar Tree the other day for some essentials (aluminum foil, bags), and discovered they had a whole new craft section with a variety of crafts. I didn't see dies, but I picked up a pair of paper piercers-- I like them for unclogging bottles. I have a wood handled one from CTMH that I'm sure was like $8, so two for a dollar was ideal.

Hmm wonder if they are knock offs made in China? I'm not sure if they knock-offs of anything in particular, but I'm sure they're made in China. Pretty much everything made in China, at least specifically for Dollar Tree, is.

I’m not holding my breath that I’ll see any at my Dollar Tree. They never have things I see others talking about.

I was at my Dollar Tree yesterday and didn't see them but it's such a flipping mess they could have been hiding under a pile of random stuff. The Dollar Tree that is closest to me is always a gigantic disaster and so many people in the store wear their mask below their nose so I try not to go too often.

I’m not holding my breath that I’ll see any at my Dollar Tree. They never have things I see others talking about. Same with mine. I haven't been in a Dollar Tree since last May and they didn't have anything I was looking for so I just stopped going. Maybe when I get vaccinated I'll go back and check out what they have and give them another chance. I also stopped watching Dollar Tree hauls because they just made me bitter that all the DT's around me suck.

Those little "Traveler's Notebooks" would make cute stocking stuffers for my granddaughters.

I stopped going to DT (pre-pandemic) because dollars add up quickly. It was those Youtube DT DIY'ers that were doing it to me. And when it comes to the good stuff I never seem to find it either. Well mostly not.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I have NO issue buying cheap dies from Amazon (or Ali Express - even though I havent') or now, Dollar Tree - as long as they're just generic shapes: circles, ovals, squares, hearts, etc.
I don't think anyone owns geometric shapes and I can't fathom spending $30 or more on a set of them.
The ones I've purchased on Amazon (rectangles, fishtail banner, hearts, circles) have been EXCELLENT. No complaints.

I’ve purchased generic shapes and alphabet letters (very plain) from Amazon. They work fine for what I do.
As far as DT, I keep seeing the cutest crafting supplies in FB groups, etc. Mine has zero craft supplies. None. Well unless you count glue and other generic supplies. I’m always disappointed that mine doesn’t carry anything. I haven’t been in DT other than a quick trip for a Christmas gift bag in December.

We probably wont get them up here. I like the border one, but she says it is 5 1/8 which isnt even the length of a card. Hmph.

wow, that's cool! my dollar tree stores are inconsistent in their inventory so i guess i'll have to check out a bunch to see who has them.
speaking of aliexpress, i have never had a problem with their dies. good quality, can't beat the prices.

I don't know this youtuber, but I do wonder where she is. When they crafter's square section came out, it took MONTHS for my area to see it. NY and TX people I follow were some of the first mentions I'd seen of it, so I wonder if my area will see it sooner or a long while down the road. Sometimes we're right there with everyone else and sometimes, it's a long wait. I have a friend who also loves DT, so we're gonna be on the lookout for ourselves and each other.

I went to the DT closest to my work and they didn't have any dies. There are three more DTs close by, so I will try to get to them later this week.

I went to the DT closest to my work and they didn't have any dies. There are three more DTs close by, so I will try to get to them later this week. Finding out their truck schedules might be handy. I have one nearby that (as far as I know...I don't shop there like I used to so it could have changed) gets their truck on Wednesdays and the larger, more popular one gets theirs on Thursday (I know this to still be true for this store because I sometimes go there while they're still unpacking on Fridays). By the time I go on the weekend, all the best stuff is usually gone unless they're really swamped with stuff to put out. If you're looking for hot items, the closer to truck day you go, the more likely you are to find it/them.

bad, bad pea enablers! i have a couple of DTs about 5 minutes from work so i took a quick break and ran over to one of them. i didn't see the dies on the shelves but there were a ton of boxes waiting to be unpacked. i told an employee what i was looking for and she was nice enough to open up the boxes for me. i wound up getting the corner die and the flower/leaf dies. i'll let you guys know how well they cut.

I'd be a little leery of them. I bought a super cheap snowflake set on Amazon, and they are a little hard to use. They don't cut well in certain places, and are super intricate, so you need a shim to make they work properly.

I’m not holding my breath that I’ll see any at my Dollar Tree. They never have things I see others talking about. If you go to their website and the Find a Store tab, then you can click on 5 or more different sections in many stores like Crafter's Square and Frozen Foods. I click on all of them except the EBT choice and then it shows you the stores nearest you that are their bigger stores. If you only click Crafter's Square, they all seem to show up since all stores carry a limited amount of that brand. I use this to find out which stores in my area are more likely to be larger (flagship) and carry the items I see on YouTube hauls. I have six in the southern part of my town that are considered flagship stores. I haven't seen dies yet, but am guessing they will take a while for many of the larger stores to carry.

This is mine too! I can't tell you how many times I've gone in and walked right back out because the craft section has none of the items I've seen others find - even a newer store (opened within the last two yrs)
