Crazy! You can’t see what happened to start it but I can’t imagine going after a customer like that.

Apart from the fight, it's so odd to me to see people shopping for non essentials. The majority of our shops have been closed for what seems like forever.

There’s another video that starts earlier. Another fight started in the background before this one started.

I was waiting for the woman wearing spandex shorts and a tube top to lose her top in the tussle. 🤣🤣

I’m a devoted online and Instacart shopper, but every time I’m out in public these days you can feel the tension in the air. People are reeeeeaally tightly wound right now.
I was at the Sonic drive-thru with my daughter yesterday. The line was moving very slowly, and when it was my turn to order the person asked me to give them just a moment. It did take them a while to get back to me, but there were still 2 cars in front of me waiting to pay and get their food. It was clear that the employees were backed up. So I started to hear an occasional beep coming from behind us. Then this woman comes pulling up next to me, leans on her horn, and starts screaming at us. I have no idea why she thought it was my fault that my order hadn’t been taken yet. CHILL OUT, folks.

...I can’t imagine going after a customer like that. Oh I can. Anyone who's worked retail not only can imagine them, we've waited on LOTS of them - Karens all - lots of attitude, sass, ugliness, "rights", and just general contempt for their fellow human. Another view further back in time:

I was at BBW in Dec. 2019 for the candle sale, and when the workers were trying to snake the lane around a different aisle, one person in the line wasn't moving. The worker (gently) put a hand on the shoulder of that person (hard to tell the age and gender) and that person started screaming very loud. It turned out that person a very tall 14 year old boy who was nonverbal autistic. The mother then came running (she left her child in line while she continued shopping) and proceeded to tell off the employee who touched her child. Everyone in line started telling off the mother for leaving the child alone. I seriously thought fists were going to fly, but they didn't. The remaining 30 minutes in line was awkward for everyone.
This fight was wild though. My husband says things like, I miss the good old days, when you were certain people would just fist fight. Nowadays, you never know who is going to whip out something more than a fist.

I was waiting for the woman wearing spandex shorts and a tube top to lose her top in the tussle. 🤣🤣 Same! At first glance, I thought she'd already lost her clothes and was in her undies. Then, I realized it was a tube top and shorts and was impressed by the quality elastic that must have been used in that garment!

I can't imagine *ever* engaging in a physical fight with anyone for any reason. But over B&BW products? No way, no how.

Many times I've wanted to beat someone's ass in a BBW. The lady with the striped dress looks like a typical snatch. You just have to breathe deeply and stay calm.
The one in the tube top, I thought she already lost her clothes. Like, that's what she left the house to go shopping in? Hahaha
Georgia has been open for months and months, though not all stores and not all BBW. People are generally pretty calm and respectful here. Not everyone wears a mask but most are good about it and not getting up in your bubble.

I think they (probably the woman you can see/hear in the second video and the woman with the striped dress) started arguing because someone was standing too close in line. My guess is it was the woman with the stripes and her friends since the employees were already trying to get them out of the store when the fight started. Doesn’t make it an appropriate response, but perhaps better than fighting over both products themselves.

Not surprised at all. Like Janeliz, I can feel tension in public even though I’m only going into grocery stores and pharmacies. I think everyone’s nerves are wearing thin and many people are snapping and behaving in ways that are out of the ordinary for them.
A mom of one of DD’s friends lost her cool with me on the phone recently when she realized I was still working from home at least 3 days a week. I very calmly told her that was the current policy for my position. She continued to be snarky so I just ended the call as quickly as possible.

Why in the world does she feel entitled to question your work location/schedule? Honestly, I've gotten so I don't even answer these questions anymore. People are so freaking nosy about other people's lives. I don't mean the ones plastered all over IG. I mean just normal people feel like they have the need to question neighbors, co-workers, co-shoppers, etc. I refuse to validate their questions with a response. I turn it around and say "Hmmmm, why would you like to know?"

People are freaking nuts. Way back in the stone ages of the 80’s when I worked at a bank there were many times I felt like jumping over the counter and choking the living crap out of some idiot giving me grief over some stupid policy that I had absolutely zero control over. Everyone I worked with would joke about being one day away from going postal on someone. Let’s just say it’s a good thing I changed careers when I did! The burnout in that job was real.

The store being opened didn’t seem odd to me because, like you said, they are considered essential. I know states have different rules regarding store capacity but I am surprised at how many people appear to be in the store. Our BBW only lets about 15 people in at a time.

From the second video in the background you see Tube Top was starting crap with the other customer and then throwing something at her. I hope charges are pressed against them if that is the case. And I don’t normally comment on people’s attire, but man, those shorts are SHORT. And congratulations to who ever manufactured that elastic, that stuff works.

I was surprised to see not only so many customers, but also such a large staff presence. That was insane! And a final observation, I wore tube tops back in my early 20s and had no idea you could still buy them! I was so afraid that someone was going to accidentally grab it during the brawl. I have to agree with the woman who called them trailer trash. Not a phrase I have ever used, but seemingly quite appropriate here for starting a physical fight in a store like that. I can guess which two women were arrested.

I read that 2 individuals were arrested and charged but they didn't say who those 2 are, my hope is it's tube top and stripey.

I’m so tired of seeing people aggressively demand their ‘rights’ after they’ve violently violated someone else’s. ‘Don’t touch me’ after she’s tried to rip someone else’s head off their shoulders 🙄
