This is my attempt at a Vicky Boutin paper (Let's Wander) knock-off using Just Jaimee brushes. I wish she did digital products, because I adore her stuff! Other elements by Dunia, Just Jaimee, Bella Gypsy, Erin's Mixed Media.

Fantastic cards & layouts everyone! TFS. kitbop - Like you, I alpha dies with shadows! Please share your source for the "swirly" alpha dies with shadow used for "wonderment." Also, is the alpha die with shadow used for "playground" in the Pinery layout Pinkfresh Heather lowercase? If so, do you have a source for it as well. TIA. Margie - In addition to disliking the angled product photos on Pinkfresh's website, I noticed many of the samples for each set actually mixes alphas. I wish they either only showed that alpha or noted the name(s) of the other(s) used in each sample. Perhaps the packaging for the Adore alpha set shows a sample mixed with the Kelly uppercase & lowercase alpha featuring hearts, florals, etc. within its letters; it seems to be the only alpha they currently offer with designs within the letters. HTH.

kellyr21 your explosion box looks wonderful, full of joy I love the butterflies. Lots of lovely dimension, it's just gorgeous. AussieMeg your pages are beautiful and as always, so full of happy color. Is there any way to use the AC digitals stuff on your pages? I'm not familiar enough with the process but I think AC eventually releases all of their designer's stuff as digitals in some form. If I recall they're horribly overpriced when you'd think they would be cheaper (since they're making money on the paper stuff and this is just bonus) but idk, I don't understand AC at all. www.acdigitals.com/collections/american-crafts-paper-packs/vicki-boutinI worked on some card recycling yesterday and made a start on some gold embossing and watercoloring with inks. But I had to tidy up and do some re-organizing and I think my brain took that as "time to stop creating" and I lost my energy. I balance between so much mess my mind can't focus on one task and so much tidy I can't get started. Hopefully I can find the middle ground today. I did earn some organizing points though.

I just went back and looked at the packaging that I cut out and put in the sleeve with the magnetic sheet and alpha dies and I realized that the small (hard to read for me) description says Adore Stamp Set. Weird that instead of showing what's inside, they're advertising for the stamps that go with the dies. Oh well, I still love the die set.

A favorite layout from my crop yesterday. Really enjoyed the supplies options I had to choose from for this book layout of dgd. I used the cat storybook paper on the right because my dgd's shoes are little cats.

I knew someone here had shared the AC Designer stuff before, but I couldn't remember which company and when I searched "Vicky Boutin digital" nothing came up for me. I'm going to bookmark it this time. I'm kind of glad the bubble/circle paper isn't included in that pack, I would be pissed off that I could have bought it after spending hours making my version! ETA: OMG OMG they sell Obed Marshall digital kits!!!!! I don't know whether to kiss you or curse you for all the money I'm going to spend!!

completed this one - start to finish - in 3 hours in the crop yesterday. That's a "street racing" ticket for me! It's the first time I've used my new Vicki Boutin (storyteller): the mixed media background start just makes it all so easy. I feel like I cheated! The title is made out of an old Basic Grey chipboard alpha that I inked ombre, and old thickers. I cut the purple hearts out of the background paper, under where the photo lies. layout oddly standard simple pleasures by kirstendrew, on Flickr

So many beautiful layouts and cards here! I'll be back to look closer later, but I love all the bright colors! I sat down yesterday and was able to finish 5 layouts. Its been over a month since I finished any so it felt good! 21 dance by Schroema, on Flickr. My nieces costumes were bright pink, navy and red, white, and blue so it was a challenge to make those colors work together, but I'm happy with how it turned out! Last day 20 by Schroema, on Flickr. This one was for the letter sticker 28-4-28 challenge. Feb 20 by Schroema, on Flickr Misc calendar page Girls dance 2020 by Schroema, on Flickr. Getting a head start on the SG sketch class with this one.

Time to get caught up with all the eye candy in this thread. Starting with PAGE ONE: kitbop, I love the bonus sketch. Left love for you and AussieMeg in the Gallery. So great to see all the happy colours and fun elements. angel97701, I don't think of you as having WINTER, but I love the look of your winter pages. Will take a closer look on Flickr. joblackford, your cards always make me smile. Love all the cute zoo animals, pretty butterflies and flowers. Will take a closer look on Flickr when I am finished with this thread. scrappyrabbit there is love in the Gallery for that Paws page. Dogs are like cats: they don't read, and they don't want YOU to, either... craftymom101, that photo is amazing! And your page is the perfect spot to display it. I love how the torn edge gives the impression of the sunset fading into night, or the early dawn. On to page TWO: myboysnme, that reading page is delightful! (How could it not be with that little sweetheart featured?). I love the kitty book to match her shoes, the deep dotted pink, the letter tiles, the storybook pp. Delightful, I say! gramma your cards are really cute, and I am happy to see you doing pages again. Will look at them more closely on Flickr. Okay, off to follow the links to your creations when I can. Thanks, all for the inspiration!

This one is much darker than normal but I felt the campfire needed the darkness to "feel' like it feels when you are camping! Used the Saturday Sketch. Created the colourful "flames" from a die I have - cut into pieces and coloured with distress inks/blender brushes. The title I cut with dies, and used red foil hoping to capture some "flamey" feel. layout fancy fire by kirstendrew, on Flickr

It's "Scrapbook Customs", and it's a photo-realistic paper but overlayed with a woodgrain which really adds texture and takes away from the "reality". It's gorgeous - I bought a number from this line. This is a link to my LSS and the paper I used so you can see it in full - it's really lovely. They are sold out of the other ones I purchased or I'd show them off too! paper

Catching up with the cards I *finished* recently (I have been focused on finishing what I start, such a novel idea!) I tried out an idea from an IG card making friend - cutting 2x2" or 3x3" papers into triangles to use on the corners of cards, or in my case cutting 2 sheets of a misprinted polka dot paper into each size and getting 6 finished cards. I tried a bunch of different ideas to see what I might like to do again with nicer paper. (The misprint has 2 different colors accidentally overlayed. It's not terrible.) Quick and easy cardmaking! I tried out some new stamps and matching "you" die I bought too. April share by jo.blackford, on Flickr These are some assorted cards that needed a little finishing up (mostly just committing and sticking them to a card base) April share by jo.blackford, on Flickr April share by jo.blackford, on Flickr These I put more effort into, inspired by Ardyth Percy Robb on YT + a background stamp I haven't used as much as I'd like + my friend asking for 3 mother's day cards. I heat embossed Roses All Over by MFT in gold, "watercolored" very loosely with Catherine Pooler inks, then cut them out with a SSS "mom" floral die. I made a few little mess ups I needed to cover and did a few experiments along the way and so I ended up with two sets of three coordinating but not identical cards. I really love the gold embossing and they didn't take as much effort as they might look/sound like. April share by jo.blackford, on Flickr OK, thanks, I'm headed back to my work in progress container!

joblackford - your cards are so diverse; I love how some are geometric and matted and others are more free form and stamped - you always come up with great combinations. Linda - yay on creating! The St. Patties day meal page is my favourite because I love me a POP of colour, but the "air load planned course" is a really great design in it's criss cross layers and paper choices.

Thank you kitbop This one has taken more time and effort than it should. I had a full 2-page layout from a SG sketch with lots of PP and everything stuck down except the photos...and I hated it, it was too busy for me. So I tossed it and went minimal instead. and my photography at night in poor lighting sucks- sorry. and this one came together quickly This one and the previous use printable elements...reminds me of when I was first scrapping back in 2002 and I would print clip-art to use on my pages.
