I came across a TikToker who among all her fashion tips does Starbucks drinks. At first I was fascinated that you could get this complicated pink drink that was a skinny version with only 35 calories. So I wrote the recipe down (Venti Passion Tango iced tea Unsweetened with Strawberry Infusion, light coconut milk and 2 Stevias). I can't bring myself to order it, I'd feel like a total douche and I hadn't even read this thread yet. Now I really won't order it. The most adventuresome I get is two double espresso shots in a Venti cup with ice, and then in the car I dump a carton of Premier Protein in caramel or coffee flavor. Tastes just as good as an iced mocha with better stuff in it and hardly any WW points. Plus its $3 That is not a douchey order. I just asked my dd who worked there in high school, she agreed that is was pretty basic.

They flavor the drink as they rehydrate. They are not hard for a barista to add. They don’t add any extra work. You would be totally fine with that order.

As stated in a PP, I do not have a SB in my town. BUT I do have Tazo passion tea in my cabinet at all times. As I always have coconut milk and dried strawberries are so easy to find. So if you are so inclined, then you wouldn't feel like you were being a bother to the baristas.

I am totally obnoxious as I have no idea how my favorite non-coffee drink there is made. I know it has acai, and strawberries - I think maybe lemonade too? My daughter's friend brought it to me a few times and I just make sure and pop over when he's working ask him to make it for me. I'm sure he thinks I'm an imbecile as I don't know how to order it - but I feed him regularly so it all works out.

I'm not a Starbucks drinker but my daughter is. She has a skinnified version of her favorite drink that ends up being quite a mouthful to order but is half the calories and she loves it.

The way it is printed on the cup would be a freaking nightmare to follow. That might be starbucks or it might be Edward, but for a fast food type place it would absolutely slow the barista down trying to get all the ingredients right since toppings are mixed in with things that need to be done before it is blended. Second of all Edward may not be a dick, but he must be a freaking high maintenance nightmare to deal with. I can't imagine his McDonald order. Big Mac, 3 pickles, ketchup on the top patty, special sauce on the bottom. Mustard on both. Onions only on bottom. Add 4 tomato slices. Plain bun. Top bun in the middle. Only bottom bun toasted. Pepper only. No salt. Wrapped in paper instead of a box. Do you think Edward goes to a nice French restaurant and demands 9 different things be done to his meal? He is the kind of person who makes nice restaurants put "substitutions or alterations politely declined". He is also likely the type of person who would make a dish unrecognizable then complain about how bad it is. I am all for people being able to order what they want, but if you are making a special order that is going to take at least twice as long as any other drink you should tip. I think the difference between this and your McDs comparison is that Starbucks has always encouraged and advertised customizations. It is part of their corporate culture. Here’s Starbucks response to this post about Edward’s order : “Customizing beverages at Starbucks and our baristas’ expertise in helping customers find and craft the right beverage has and always will be the heart of the Starbucks Experience,” a Starbucks spokesperson said in a statement shared to Nexstar. It should also be noted that posting any picture you take while at work is specifically against Starbucks corporate policy and can result in immediate termination without any warnings.
