About 1000 miles round trip. In the 80’s I used to drive from northern ca to San Diego to visit a boyfriend. No cell phones and a 1967 bug. I remember one time I pulled off for gas and this older man told me he had a daughter about my age and he was going to follow me until one of us got to our destination. It wasn’t a creepy vibe, more of a nice vibe. Like he didn’t ask personal questions just that he wanted me to be safe.

I have driven from Texas to Virginia alone. Whether or not I would continue on a trip without someone depends on many factors, like why they can't go, etc.
I drove with a girl I didn't know from Pennsylvania to Texas because we were both going to officer training. If she had to stay behind because she got sick or something, I would have continued on after trying to insure she was safe, etc.
I have made many trips alone or with kids. Tomorrow I will drive 6 hours by myself from PA to VA. I do that trip every few months to see my mom.

I used to drive from SoCal to Eugene, OR by myself frequently. If I remember correctly it took about 14 hours.

Couple hours - usually when I've had to go somewhere that is that far from an airport. I really don't enjoy road trips. If it's more than 2-3 hours away, I'd rather fly.

What the furthest distance you driven alone?
If you were enroute somewhere with someone, and for whatever reason they could not continue on, would you continue to the destination alone?
I drove 1,600 miles with a girlfriend when we got jobs on the west coast. That was in the late 80s. (Then drove it back 8 months later) I drive about 600 miles by myself frequently, doesn't bother me at all. Done that all my adult life basically. I wouldn't think twice driving anywhere really. Maybe New York City or similar would kinda freak me out.. but I wouldn't not do it.
If I had a reason to continue without a passenger yeah I wouldn't stop.. unless there was a reason I needed to stay with that person.
Edited to add.. I am quite surprised about how many haven't driven that far.. not sure why. Growing up, my mom and us kids used to drive a lot alone to see my grandma.. the miles were long because we were always moving, but every Easter and Thanksgiving we would go see grandma. My grandma didn't drive much less ever leave her home. So usually it was around a 500-600 one way trip to her house. That was way back in the 1970s. Kudos to my brave mom! My dad refused to go. (that is another story....)

1 or 2 times a year I go from Central TX to Indiana ( 3000 miles round trip) to visit friends and family. I've done this for over 20 years. Sometimes I fly, but usually I want my car and have things to transport. I know the route, sometimes I drive straight thru, but only if I can leave at 4 am and arrive by midnight. I can't drive until 3-4 am. I stay aware and have never felt unsafe or had a bad experience.
I want to make the trip soon. I had lens replacement surgery in August and haven't felt like I could do this long of a road trip without eye fatigue. hopefully in a nother few weeks.

What the furthest distance you driven alone? If you were enroute somewhere with someone, and for whatever reason they could not continue on, would you continue to the destination alone? longest distance alone... last summer, when I drove from Phx to Northwest Illinois and back again- 1500 ish 1670 miles one way (??). I took 3 days to do it. But I used to routinely drive from the Chicago suburbs to NW Illinois all the time to / from visiting my parents (3 hours)... and that was before I owned a cell phone. Would I continue on to the destination alone if my companion couldn't? Yes, in that case, I would- because I was en route to help take care of my mom after a surgery. I am both more, and less, 'sure of myself' now that I have a cell phone on me at all times. On the one hand, I like having it because I can look things up, and feel more sure of being 'in touch' in case of emergency, having a map available, etc. But on the other hand, I also sometimes feel LESS sure of myself because I'm so used to relying on the cell phone. I sometimes think 'what if there's no service?' or something like that. eta: last summer driving from AZ to Illinois I slept in my car in truck stop parking lots- that was because I didn't want to worry about covid, etc. and it was cheaper than staying at motels. That made me feel a bit uneasy, but I know truck stops are highly trafficked and there's always someone working inside, so it wasn't really that bad. (it was terribly uncomfortable, but not unsafe.)

I regularly drive alone (and have since 18 years old) 360 miles to and from my mom's house. It's an interstate drive (not driving out of state, but on an interstate freeways) most of the way, with maybe 40 miles from one interstate to the other. It's fast, and well-travelled. I never feel nervous doing it, even at night.
I would hate driving cross-country alone. Ugh, ick, bleh. I'd do it if I had to, but I really wouldn't like it at all.

I had plenty of podcasts to listen to, music, Sirius radio, etc. and I could stop when / where I wanted for potty breaks, snacks, etc. There was one brief stretch late at night in Oklahoma somewhere when it was raining CATS&DOGS, and I was on a state highway with no really good place to stop. THAT gave me pause-- until I got to civilization again. But otherwise, the drive, and being totally in charge, was actually kind of nice. (besides the sleeping IN my car part, that is... THAT was uncomfortable.)
