When making meatballs do you use ground beef or the meatloaf mix of beef, veal & pork? Or something else? Was having this discussion with a family member and was just curious what others do. I go back and forth between the two.

most of the time it's all beef but once in a while, i'll throw in some pork. never any lamb in mine. it also depends on what recipe the meatballs will go into--- albondigas soup, spaghetti, teriyaki, etc.

I buy frozen, rarely to I make my own.
However, beef and pork is what my mom would do.

I use a beef and pork mix, or a veal and pork mix. It depends what the ‘mixed’ mince at the butcher is on the day.

Half beef/half pork unless I am following a specific recipe.
The only time I would use ground veal would be for my grandmother's meatloaf recipe.

I would need to check the ingredients on the bag in the freezer LOL To me it is more important to figure out what sauce or dish which they are going to be served.

We make a variety, just beef, pork and shrimp, beef and lamb, beef and pork. We don't have just one recipe we use, it really depends upon what else we are having or what flavor we want.

I don’t really like beef meatballs so I use ground turkey. If I do make a beef meatball I will use a mixture of ground beef and hot Italian sausage.

Just beef since it comes in a 1- pound package and that's how much I usually need. If I add pork then I'll end up with way too many meatballs I also don't like the texture of pork when forming the meatballs. Touching ground beef doesn't yick me out though... I'm weird.

IF i make them, I just use beef and pork. Same for my meatloaf. But usually, I use frozen because they are so fast and delicious these days.

usually I buy them frozen
but if I'm making from scratch - all beef or lamb or chicken usually - depending on what I'm making with them. I'm actually more likely to do lamb or chicken from scratch since beef are easily found frozen. I do use beef and pork in the meatloaf though

I buy them frozen. I've tried a couple of different recipes and haven't been impressed. I've found them too dense and/or not enough flavor.

Usually beef and pork but if I can, I do like the beef, pork, veal combo. So I voted for that
