I could not answer. I have never tested positive for COVID, so cannot say yes. However, very early in the pandemic, when you were not tested without a known exposure, my husband, me, and my high school senior all had a really horrible illness that ticked all of the COVID symptom boxes. I am rarely sick, and when I am sick, I usually feel fine in 24 hours, and I had symptoms for almost two weeks and was still run down after. My high schooler was having enough trouble breathing that we took them to urgent care, where they tested negative for the flu, but were not Covid-tested because they had no known exposure. My husband developed heart problems afterwards. I can’t say we had it, but I think there is a decent probability.

I checked no, but I have never tested either, I certainly could have had it and been asymptomatic or confused the symptoms with my usual allergies.

Not yet, but I went to visit my daughter in Florida a little over a week ago. I get tested weekly at work, and last week I was negative. It can take up to two weeks for a positive result after exposure. I get tested again today, so if I'm still negative I'm going to say I have a stellar immune system because I wasn't careful at all! I should also say I'm fully vaxxed.

Yes - October 2020 and have had long Covid issues since. Just got back from ENT trying to problem solve vocal cord/throat issues. I am vaxed and boosted and have not had a positive Covid since.

no and my immediate family hasn't either. I'm vaxxed and boostered, DH and the kids are vaxxed - I had to reschedule DD's booster because she was sick but she had two negatives tests so...
we're all masking (since March 2020) - and with omicron switched from cloth masks to KF94 (I think that's what are). We're still being pretty careful about interactions with others (close contact) except for DD15 who is in school this year (homeschooled last year) but she masks, eats lunch outside, and is generally as cautious as possible under the circumstances of a mostly non-masked, likely non-vaxxed school.

I am shocked how many have never had it. I have had it twice now, once before vaccines were available, and just last week after 3 vaccines and fully masked. I feel battle-worn at this point. I'm shocked too! Everyone in my family has had it. But just once pre-vaccine. We live in the land of Covid deniers and unmaskers so I'm going to say that being vaxed and masked has definitely helped us avoid it again. *Knocks on wood*

My son, who is at college out of state, is the only person in my immediate family who has had it. I'm SHOCKED because we live in TX where no one wears a mask. I work in at a middle school and have 3 kids in schools here. We all are all vaxxed and wear masks every day but I'm still surprised we haven't gotten it.

I had it in March 2021 - the week I finally qualified to get my vaccine here. My DH and DS had it first. DS was asymptomatic. I tested negative three times before finally testing positive even though I was showing plenty of symptoms. Luckily (?) none of us had loss of taste or smell. I had such a bad case that I didn't end up getting my vaccine until May 2021. I tell people this all the time - if I had lived by myself, I'm not sure I would have made it. I didn't even have the energy to pick up my phone, far less dial for help.

i have had something ... twice.
once in march 2020, worst chest cold of my life. idk if that was covid or not.
once last month. thought it was allergies, but then my mom (cancer patient) got the same thing. this time not in my chest at all. headache, sore throat, runny nose, sinus drainage. still have the drainage. didn't test because i thought it was allergies.
so tldr, idk maybe.

My son got it his first year of college. (October 2020) They were living in dorms. Required to wear masks. Classes were via Zoom. His roommate and none of his friends got it.
I, my husband, and our oldest daughter got it January 2021 at my mother-in-laws funeral or visitation. My dh had it the worst. My worst symptom was loss of taste.
My youngest daughter and our granddaughter live with us. They never got it. We isolated when we were positive.

No, only one of the 5 of us had covid. My daughter had it in Nov. 2020. The only time at school they had mask off is lunch, and the girl who sits next to her had it, then my daughter got it. The girl worked at a nursing home that had many cases.
I do know of one person in my family and friend group that got it after being vaccinated. It was in the summer.

There are four of us in the house, two go to public school(one is special ed contained classroom), 3 of us work (2 in offices and 1 is a server in a restaurant). We are all vaxxed and boosted.
SO had it mid-January, and DS15(the one in the se class) is getting over it now. Neither of them had it "bad". Fever the first day, minor congestion, mostly like a regular cold.
DD & I have dodged it so far!

I am vaccinated but believe I have had it twice.
Once end of February 2020 I wasn't overly sick but couldn't smell or taste for almost two weeks, I thought it was so strange, it has never happened to me before. This was before that was even listed as a symptom of the virus. As soon as they said it was a symptom I was positive I had covid...of course the news would say it wasn't in my area at that time but I am sure I had it. Our whole office building was sick some of us very sick / bad coughs. A coworker of mine came back from vegas shortly before we all got sick so I really think he brought back covid from the trip.
2nd time was a month or so ago. Just mild symptoms, mild fever, sore throat, headache, very tired for a few days. Canada stopped testing for omicron though so I couldn't get tested. My neighbor is the school bus driver though and she came down with it, same symptoms and tested positive.

:: knock on wood :: None of us have. DH has continued to work outside of the house full time, I work at a funeral home part time and we have Kindergartener in school full time (plus a three year old).

I haven’t & I don’t know how! I teach 10-11 year olds and have been surrounded by positive cases, both students & staff. I have been testing at least twice a week for over a year now. I have had all 3 jabs (April, June & December) but I think I must have been incredibly lucky; can’t tell you how many times I have been working closely with a child who tested positive the next day & stayed negative.

Not that I know of, have not had symptoms at any point nor has anyone in my household. So far two years in and have not had to test for it either. *FINGERS CROSSED* it stays that way.

There are 4 of us. All vaxxed and boosted. Not one of us has been sick with anything since mask wearing.
Caveat…Feb 2020 I was horribly sick. Off work for 2.5 weeks. The cough was the prevalent symptom, along with sleeping all the time. I had no known exposure at the time of the Dr. appt.

One year ago today I was isolating in my bedroom after testing positive the night before. DH & our two boys would test positive a week later, but other than one night with a fever, it was pretty much like a cold for them. I had a fever off and on for a couple of days and was tired, but never felt bad enough to need to seek medical attention.

Fortunately no! Neither I or DH. We have had all the vaccines and a booster. We have adult children and grandchildren who have had it. 2 prior to vaccines and 1 after being vaccinated.

No one in my family, immediate and extended, has had Covid. We're blaming the hearty peasant stock of our ancestors for our good luck.
DH and I have done three trips to Disney (Land, World, Land) since September. Nothing. Our kids and their friends/SOs went to the World with use. They are all covid free as well. I'm currently knocking on wood to avoid jinxing myself...

Everyone in my household had it in January. Some for the second time. We are all vaxxed. I had to have the antibodies because I
am immunocompromised. All very mild cases.

I need an 'I think so, but I haven't had it confirmed with a test' option. I actually think I had it really early on, as in late February/early March 2020. I'm under the weather at the moment, but I think it's more likely right now that I have a UTI, and my iron is low, just given my symptoms.

Nobody in my household has had COVID. There are 4 adults in my house, but I’m the only one working outside the home in a high risk business. DH and I are vaccinated and boosted. DS (31) is vaccinated but not boosted. I’ve advised against it due to the complications possible for men his age. My uncle (75) is unvaccinated but does not leave the house. He moved in with us right before COVID broke out.
We take reasonable precautions, but are also not hiding at home. We grocery shop, have eaten in a few restaurants in the last 18 months, but mostly take out. We go to stores in person. We are currently masking due to a mask mandate this year, but prior to January were not masking since the last mandate ended. We don’t attend crowded public functions, but did attend my work holiday party with 25 people, all vaccinated.
DS’ girlfriend stayed with us in December. I know she’s vaccinated, don’t know about her family. She lives in NJ and nobody has had COVID in her family.

Not that I know of, but DS had it at the beginning of January. He was sick for about a day and a half and tired for about 5 more.
