I’m fully vaccinated and boosted and still got COVID mid January. My symptoms were pretty mild except the fatigue. I’m still wiped out by the end of the day. Thankfully no one in my house got it. (All vaxxed and boosted as well.)

I had it over Christmas 2021. I am vaxxed, not boosted (a month before I was scheduled to get it). My 10 year old got it as well (not vaxxed). My DH (vaxxed) and 5 year old (not vaxxed) did not get it. We did not quarantine separately from each other. We were a big fat happy quarantine family before and during our sickness.
I unknowingly exposed SIL, BIL, their 11 and 7 year old, FIL, his wife, her 37 year old DD, MIL and her boyfriend. NOT A SINGLE ONE GOT IT! All were/ are vaxxed, some are boosted.

No...I am vaxed and boosted. Neither has my mom. Now my brother, SIL and 30 year old niece all had it after Christmas. We saw them Christmas day, my DB was exposed the next day and they were all sick by New Year's Eve. We never saw them after Christmas Day (my mom left for Florida on 1/2) . They were all vaxxed and not boosted. They were sick for 2 days and then better from the 3rd day forward.

I dont think anyone can say that they havent had Covid. All you can say is that you havent tested positive.
Correction: i dont think MOST people can say they havent had covid.

I have never tested positive. BUT I do think I had in early March 2020 after a trip to Jamaica (with layovers in Chicago and Florida). I have double pneumonia 8 days after getting back stateside and I have never been so sick. Literally all the symptoms of Covid but there were no tests to take yet.

Only my eldest daughter has had it in our household. Assuming she caught it at work. She’s been working over the summer as a waitress at a fairly upmarket restaurant at a winery. The remaining 3 of us managed to escape it. Hubby and I are vexed and boostered. Dd17 has been double gazed as was dd19 who caught it.
Until early January, I hadn’t known anyone that had had it. Now I probably know 50-60 people who have.

I work in an elementary school with unmasked kids (who have no idea how to sneeze or keep their hands off the walls, the doorways etc.) My husband works in a gym four days a week and was exposed to Covid the first week in March of 2020. I am shocked no one in my family got it. Perhaps we did and just didn't know though.

I mean, I don’t know for sure but I had one of the worst illnesses I’ve ever experienced in January 2020 that all of the usual things I tested negative for, and testing for Covid wasn’t a thing or if it was, you had to have recently traveled to Asia to get one. I had an extremely high fever, fatigue, a cough that lasted for weeks, and terrible body aches. My husband stayed away from me and he never got sick but who knows, maybe he was one of the asymptomatic people. This mysterious illness also ripped through my office and we had to shut down for an unrelated reason and it eventually calmed down. But since we’ve identified Covid in the states and had testing available - no I have never tested positive for Covid and have only been tested once. This was me as well. I actually had a cough that didn't go away for over 6 months! Nothing since then though. Youngest is doing a study abroad in Italy and hasn't been feeling great so did an at home test which came up positive. Her program told her she needed to be tested at a pharmacy for protocol which oddly came back negative. She also did another at home that was negative. She now waits for PCR test results. On one hand we're hopeful she's negative, but on the other she's feeling really miserable and it'd be good to put a name on it. This kid has been around so many people who've been positive (including a house full of roommates last spring and her dad and his gf's entire family over Xmas) and never got sick until now.

I dont think anyone can say that they havent had Covid. All you can say is that you havent tested positive. A lot of people are being tested very regularly… do you think that everyone is having false negatives? And a lot of people are still really limiting our exposures. I mean, I find it really unlikely that every single person in my household would be asymptomatic, so I’m pretty confident we haven’t had it. 🤷🏼♀️

I dont think anyone can say that they havent had Covid. All you can say is that you havent tested positive. I believe I can. I haven’t had a sore throat or felt under weather or anything else at all. I have tested often- for work and for visiting elderly parents. We were careful- why shouldn’t that be accurate? Touching wood as I type obviously!

Well, after microdosing on the Rona for two years, I think it's safe to say I'm not going to be taken down by it. I've only been symptomatic/tested twice and both times, I actually had strep with atypical symptoms and not the vid.

We need a "don't know" option. I had something back in March 2020 before there was any testing. It was trouble breathing, exhaustion and a raised temperature mostly between 99 and 100* (so not high, just not normal). I'm still on an inhaler now and my temperature only returned to below 98.6* consistently after my 3rd vaccination, so it probably was.

I dont think anyone can say that they havent had Covid. All you can say is that you havent tested positive. I can be 100% certain that I haven't had Covid. I haven/t even had as much as a headache and certainly no symptoms such as any fever, colds even a sniffle, sore throat or anything for the last two years. In fact I have been healthier than I have ever been, possibly because of all the precautions I have taken. I have regularly tested, like every couple of days since the beginning as my mother is medically vulnerable. So yes, I'm pretty confident in saying that I nor any of my close family have not had the original strain or any of the mutations since.

I'm amazed I haven't contracted Covid after all this time I teach face to face junior high so I'm in contact with hundreds of people every day ... I teach with other teachers who have come down with Covid ... My house is being renovated so there are workers coming in here often and my ex is here all the time and he has had Covid I think my diligent masking at work has helped ... I haven't caught a cold or the flu either

I mean, I find it really unlikely that every single person in my household would be asymptomatic, so I’m pretty confident we haven’t had it. 🤷🏼♀️ I didnt say that very well at all, did I? There are a lot of people who dont get tested- either they "know" they have it or they dont believe it exists or that it is a big deal. Lots of people thought they "had a cold" back in the fall. No way to know if it was Covid or actually a cold. There are also asymptomatic cases and none os us really knows if we have had an asymptomatic case unless we are tested regularly. So, I can say that I dont think that I have had it. I did have a cold in the fall, but I was tested (7 times in 9 days because I was exposed at work around the same time and I definitely did not have covid.). Back in January 2020, I had a very odd illness that was all in my chest, not much in the way of nasal symptoms. That could potentially have been Covid, but I will never know for sure.

I voted 'no', although my symptoms around Christmas and into the New Year were eerily similar. I tested negative.

DH, DS#4, and I have not had it. But so far this year, my other 3 DSs. DDILs, and GKs have had it. 8yr old GS wound up in emergency and an overnight in the hospital due to breathing issues just last week--he does have asthma. He is on the mend, but I worry. All adults had already been fully vaccinated, but not all has had booster.

I agree I can’t be 100% sure I haven’t had it - but my community did surveillance testing twice - which included antigen and antibody testing and I was negative on both. Then I was vaccinated - recently my kid got it - and then I got sick and was 100% sure I had it - however 2 PCR tests were negative. I think it was just bad allergies.

Nope. Never had Covid. Also, never tested. I've been WFH since early in March 2020, and honestly, have kept a fairly tight bubble. I'm high risk and have simply made decisions that keep me safe. My friend group is half vaxxed, half not. So unless it's outside with plenty of social distancing, I haven't been joining them in our normal get togethers, which frankly, never stopped at all. Half of them have had Covid (guess which half).
I have some family (extended) you've had covid, not vaxxed.
And several coworkers - some vaxxed, some not.
I keep hearing some say that everyone will get it eventually. I guess we'll see, but I have no plans on changing my habits anytime soon honestly. I am perfectly content at home and have plenty of things to keep me busy. There are times I miss certain things, but honestly, very rarely.

I had it last month. My sister, her husband, and two of my three nephews had it last month, too. My dad had it a year ago.
I am triple vaxxed. It wasn't terrible- just like a really bad cold for about a week. I am very lucky that no one in my family had a horrible case of it. Everyone was definitely quite sick but no hospitalizations. My dad had the iv of monoclonal antibodies because of his age.
I teach and last month a bunch of kids were out with covid. There doesn't seem to be many out this week, however, so maybe it is letting up.

No but in the last month or so we know a lot of people that have had it. I’m very happy we avoided it. They test twice a week at my husband’s work and he was exposed with close contact and quarantined at home but never got it. He was wearing a good mask at the time thank goodness. Avoiding him for the week was not fun. Some extended family had it but assuming at this point they are recovered at least one was having lingering effects a couple weeks out.

No. But I personally know a lot more people who have had it in the last month/month and a half than the whole rest of the pandemic. Same. No one in my immediate household yet, but my son at college and my brother and sister have all had it in the last month!

No I haven’t had Covid. None of my immediate family has either. I have been tested at work on a regular basis all throughout the pandemic. I have not had any sickness, not a cold or anything in the past 2 years.

No.... DH and I are triple-vaxxed and still wear masks everywhere we go. When we get home, I scrub my hands, lower arms, face, and glasses. Major edit after reading more I guess I can't say NO for sure! My only symptom was some sinus congestion, which I attributed to allergies. Based on my experience, I am willing to bet that many people who say they have never had Covid actually have had it but never realized it. Especially if they had been vaccinated already. I dont think anyone can say that they havent had Covid. All you can say is that you havent tested positive. Good points! We've never tested, so I can't say for sure.

A bunch of people in my extended family (all fully vaccinated) had it in January, but I never did. A couple of them seem to have extended symptoms. Oh, I'm sorry, lucy! I wonder if the people I know who've had it will have extended symptoms. One of my closest friends had Covid back in September---she ALMOST needed hospitalization, but finally improved. One unexpected side effect was some hair loss. It's mildly distressing to her, BUT--she's thankful it's her only "weird" left-over symptom. Then there's my sister-in-law's 92 year old father, who had it wayyy back at the beginning (no vax, no tests) and he's doing FINE, 2 years later!
