Just curious, now that it looks like we’ve passed the Omicron surge, how many have continued to be COVID-free.

I haven’t, and I have been testing at least once a week since late October, due to my work.

No. But I personally know a lot more people who have had it in the last month/month and a half than the whole rest of the pandemic.

I don't know. I assume I have, but I have only had one test and it was negative.

Nobody in our household has, but my oldest son did get it in November of 2020. We're all vaccinated and my youngest daughter did at home learning for awhile. She's back at school now

I had it in March 2020, but not since then (fully vaccinated and boosted.)

Yes, three of four family members had COVID in January 2021.
We only knew a handful of people that had it until Dec 2021. Now the number is in the dozens of close friends and family in both the US and Canada. The Omicron strain hit really hard in my world.

I've never been tested for COVID, so I answered no.
In March 2020 I was on the last sailing of a cruise ship before everything was halted due to COVID. There were confirmed cases of COVID and Flu A & B on the cruise. We sat for hours at the airport with everyone coming home from cruises and everyone that was supposed to be leaving on a cruise but couldn't because of the shutdown. Three days after arriving home I started showing symptoms but was unable to be tested (for anything) as I didn't require emergency medical treatment. I'm fully vaxxed & boosted.

You forgot the "not sure" option. That where my tick-mark goes, since it was end of December and I was unable to get tested due to the high numbers of Omicron.
ETA: I had two positives (vaxxed and boosted) who isolated in my house (extremely carefully) during mid to late December. I got sick the day after they left. 4 days after they left their 10 day isolation.

Yes, In Nov. I had very direct pt exposure. Even though I was masked, and vaccinated. I had not had a booster, but my vaccinations were very early on due to being medical. I was due for my booster the wk I was exposed. I still stand behind masking and vaccinations. My dh did not get it.

My answer is no, I am fully vaccinated and boosted. SO and daughter are not.
No one in household has gotten it, none of us has been sick. *knocks on wood

No. Vaxxed and boosted.
I was sick last September with symptoms that were flu like, but tested negative to it.

No but my younger son got it at work just before Christmas - fully vaccinated, mild symptoms, no one else in the household got it even though I spent 3 hours in a car with him just before his positive test - he was feeling tired so, just to be cautious, he wore his mask the entire time.

Myself, DH and DD all had very mild cases in January.

A bunch of people in my extended family (all fully vaccinated) had it in January, but I never did. A couple of them seem to have extended symptoms.

I have not had it.. I have had all 3 shots.
Oldest DS has not had it, no shot.
Youngest DD has not had it, all 3 shots
Middle DD has had it and all 3 shots. (along with her husband) just last week. They went to a big stock show here a few weeks ago.. We are sure that's where they got it.. They are very protective too.
DH probably has had it.. in the very beginning.. no shots.

No I haven’t - and my 2 college kids haven’t either. But my 17 year old got it last month at work.

Yes. It ran through our family of 3 back in August/Sept (Delta) and we were all vaccinated. DH and DD had pretty bad cases (they had J&J). Mine was extremely mild (I had Pfizer). So mild that had the nurses at the ER not told me to get tested and quarantine (when I dropped DH off), I would never have tested. My only symptom was some sinus congestion, which I attributed to allergies. Based on my experience, I am willing to bet that many people who say they have never had Covid actually have had it but never realized it. Especially if they had been vaccinated already.

I voted “no”. Never been tested, never had symptoms like fever, fatigue, loss of smell or taste, sore throat, etc. I do have allergies, but after taking my allergy meds, by about 10AM all my nose issues go away. So, knock on wood, no.

I voted NO. I've never been tested, never thought I needed tested. Never been 'exposed' to my knowledge. DBF has been tested one time, but it was required before surgery.

I mean, I don’t know for sure but I had one of the worst illnesses I’ve ever experienced in January 2020 that all of the usual things I tested negative for, and testing for Covid wasn’t a thing or if it was, you had to have recently traveled to Asia to get one. I had an extremely high fever, fatigue, a cough that lasted for weeks, and terrible body aches. My husband stayed away from me and he never got sick but who knows, maybe he was one of the asymptomatic people. This mysterious illness also ripped through my office and we had to shut down for an unrelated reason and it eventually calmed down.
But since we’ve identified Covid in the states and had testing available - no I have never tested positive for Covid and have only been tested once.

No, but my 18 year-old had it over Christmas as did many of his classmates. The rest of us (all vaxxed and boosted) haven’t had it.

I'm curious if J&J is even being offered any more. And as sick as they were, especially your husband, you really dodged a bullet!

I am shocked how many have never had it. I have had it twice now, once before vaccines were available, and just last week after 3 vaccines and fully masked. I feel battle-worn at this point.
