Bill Nighy’s character in About Time wrecks me every.single.time. Still one of my favorite movies.

There was a TV movie 1973 called Go Ask Alice about a young girl who got hooked on drugs. She finally beat it but at the very end of the movie, they revealed that she had died from a drug overdose. I sobbed like a baby after watching that. I think it was based on a diary of a 15 year-old teenager that was the basis of the book/movie.

Hank from Breaking Bad. I really wasn’t expecting it. "He made up his mind ten minutes ago." Oh man, did that get me.

It was written by Beatrice Sparks who was a therapist (maybe) and Mormon youth counselor, and was basically just anti-drug propaganda.

I’m a huge sap, I cry at commercials, Hallmark Movies, TV shows and movies. Animal deaths, forget it.
These days, I try to stick to light, happy shows.

Those Mormons really got me though, we watched some horrible movie called Cipher in the Snow (also a Mormon after school type production) in Jr. High and that haunted me as well. It still upsets me actually. When it comes up and someone asks me to explain what I was about I start crying while telling them.

Hachi. OMG. It’s a true story. Now that one - gut wrenching. That movie always brings me to tears. When I went to Japan the last time (I've been twice) I made it a point to find the statue of Hachi near the train station in Tokyo, since I'd heard of the story prior to that trip. I live near that station and the Hachiko statue is a famous meeting place and photo spot. A few years ago they installed a new statue at the professor’s university showing him and Hachiko reuniting. I really want to see it but I don’t want to start ugly crying in public!

My sisters and I were into watching General Hospital back in the day, with my younger sister being a total fanatic. I was at my best friend's house one afternoon when my sister called her house looking for me and asking me to come home immediately. She was sobbing so hard I couldn't understand her. All I could understand through her sobs was that someone died. I was scared and ran all the way home.
When I got to the house, she was in a heap on the floor. It took me several minutes to calm her down enough to get her to repeat what happened and who died. She couldn't control her breathing enough to talk to where you could understand her words. I finally had her write it down. When I realized she was talking about someone on General Hospital dying, I was torn between laughing and getting angry that she scared the heck out of me. I thought it was one of our parents or my grandma or something for her to be so overcome that she couldn't breathe. I couldn't even tell you which character it was. My sister was really involved in her TV shows and that wasn't the last time she was hysterical over some TV script death.
To be fair, I admit to crying over any animal that is killed in a movie or TV show to this day. Even if I am at the movies with people sitting all around me. I can't take it when a beloved dog dies. I am that one weirdo that starts out quietly sniffling and ends up sobbing and snorting when the animal dies. Especially if the animal was a child's pet.
I am also the person in the theater that screams and puts my coat over my face at scary movies. I remember screaming during "Wait Until Dark" decades ago. After the movie, I was in the bathroom and two girls were talking about "that girl" who was screaming in terror. I came out of the stall and held my hand up and introduced myself as the screamer. I apologized, and told them I can't handle scary or sad movies. We all had a good laugh over my weakness.

Those Mormons really got me though I can relate to that, I feel sick every time I think about Twilight.... Ha! I couldn’t even get past page 6 of that book. For some reason my husband wanted to see the movie, so we went and I thought all the teeny boppers were going to murder us because we couldn’t contain our laughter. The scene where he supposedly sparkles but just looks low key furry just about made me pee my pants I was laughing so hard. Robert Pattinson may be easy on the eyes, but boy cannot act. And lord, the dialogue!

Every single time I watch Michael Corleone die, I cry. For me it's Apollonia and Fredo
