My GE Opal nugget ice machine. Our Generac gas whole house generator. My IKEA Kivik couch that has lasted 15 years. This makes me happy. I LITERALLY signed a contract for a Generac whole house generator to be installed 20 minutes ago! You will not be sorry. Do make sure that you work with your electrician to be sure you have exactly the breakers you want connected to the generator. For us, that meant major appliances for cooking/washing, important lights/rooms, and our outlets related to WiFi/Internet lol. It has saved us a number of times, including during a snowstorm that knocked power out for almost 3 days. It also has an outlet on it so we were able to throw an extension cord over the fence to our neighbor so they could power some things.

Also my new car. After 20 years, raising 3 messy kids…it’s the first car that’s mine. MINE. It’s my first SUV and it’s a limited hybrid and I could kiss every inch of it.
Also I’d say my running shoes, my keratin treatments (so long poofy hair) and every visit to my dermatologist. Worth every penny!
Eta - I’ll also say my Vuori joggers and these new cotton tee shirts from Anthropologie- I’ve worn and washed them so many times I can’t believe they haven’t fallen apart. Coziest clothes ever.

Sunday Basket from Organize 365 TELL ME MORE! I'm so tempted by this, but I've spent a shameful amount of $ on books and programs to get organized, and I still haven't "arrived" yet... It sounds like a great system, and I was a faithful listener to the Organize 365 podcast for awhile. It's worth it? Should I do it? I did it on my own for 2 years with supplies I bought myself and just listening to the podcast. When you buy the official box, you get tons of training videos that you can watch. But you also get access to a 90 minute co-working session every Sunday. Going through it with other people, being able to ask questions, hearing ways other people are doing it and having the time booked on my calendar to do it have been a game changer for me. I'm now on the fence about buying the Productive Home Solution...but that is a much bigger investment and I'm not sure I'm ready. I do also have the Friday Workbox for my work things and even though I still have more work than time, I'm staying on top of things better and making decisions on what's going to be purposely deferred so that I can make progress on the big stuff.

We have used the Cuisinart toaster/air fryer/convection oven almost daily. Hand-held rechargeable fans for Disney-We were at Disney World in August 2021 in KN95 masks. Those fans saved us. Hoka sneakers- I could be on my feet all day and my feet won't hurt!

My Garmin Varia radar tail light for my bikes. It detects cars approaching you from behind, starts beeping and shows them on your bike computer so you can see them as they approach. Other than that, my bikes. I love a good bike. Never thought of anything like that. I haven't ridden a bike in years but if I do, I will definitely get something like this.

My Dyson vacuum that I bought in spring of 2006 after reading so many rave reviews on the original 2Peas site. I spent months trying to talk myself out of buying it because it was $500 but that damn thing has lasted for 16 years, in 11 different houses, and still works great.
Also, my Ikea Ektorp corner sofa that we bought later in 2006. Still going strong though Ikea discontinued this model and replaced it with a similar design, so not sure if the removable/changeable slipcovers from the new line will work on this older model or not. If not, I'm okay with upgrading soon to a new sofa. I figure on both of these items, we've certainly got our money's worth from them at this point!

My Dyson V8 cordless My 2017 Subaru Outback (wish it was 2018, so it would have Apple Carplay - but this one was paid off in my divorce at the end of 2018, so I'll stick with it) ALL of my Apple products

I haven't had it long but already I really like my Sunbeam vintage stand mixer I got for $10. I have a Kitchen Aid and I like it well enough but I have nowhere to leave it out and it's heavy to move around.
We also got a Shark Robot vacuum and love it! We just moved and have wood floors downstairs and cats. The vacuum gets a lot of fur daily!
My Raycon Fitness Earpods. I have Apple Airpods but the Raycon seem to keep their charge longer and fit better.

Weighted blanket. It's the best thing I've ever bought for myself.
It Cosmetics CC Cream.
All my scrapbooking stuff. It's my therapy.
Edited to add: Not bought per say, paid my half of the fee to make it happen. Divorce!

So many things!! I'll try and list a few in no particular order.
Kitchen & household: * Cuisinart air fryer/toaster oven * Black and Decker food processor (doesn't really fit the category bc it was a gift & not purchased by us, but has been going strong for more than 30 years & used often) * Kitchen Aid mixer * good knives (Henckel's) * Circulon cookware * Miele vaccuum (25 years old & still going strong; cost an arm and a leg but worth every penny)
Non-kitchen: * Silhouette Cameo * 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe * Sirius XM radio * Kindle

Apple products. Got my first iphone around 2009, I’m on my 3rd one ( an X for 4+ yrs and still works great) I switched to a Mac in 2015 and haven’t had any problems with my computer since. My ipad came free with my iphone, so also 4+ yrs— still great and fits my needs. My Apple watch 3 still meets my needs, though I debate upgrading it.

My Le Creuset Dutch oven. I use it more than anything else in my kitchen.
My prescription computer distance glasses - my eye doctor wrote a specific prescription for them, corrected for my astigmatism, and I now have two: one by my computer and one at my bedside and they are the best things ever.

Instant pot - we have more than one and use them constantly
Air fryer - the kids use it at least once a day
Prius - great car, reliable and fuel efficient
My skates - when I replaced my beginner skates I splurged for some $600 skates. They’ve held up for 8 years. I may need to replace them soon but i skate 3-4 times a week and they’ve held up well.
iPad - I’m on my third one and I use it every day for both work and play
Extra computer monitors - I have three screens and it makes life easier, it’s so much more efficient.

My Lexus RX. Cost twice as much as any car I ever had before, but it’s over 15 years old now, runs great, and I love it just as much as ever. I may keep it till it dies or I do, whichever comes first … I feel the same way about my 2013 Audi. Nine years old and just like new. DH's 2015 Volvo is a piece of crap.

You both made me think about how much we love our 2001 Cadillac Deville. Everytime we take it out of the garage, I’m always amazed how gorgeous it is. We’ve had many offers to buy it, but we would never let it go. It always makes us smile !

* our (counting on fingers - 1,2,3,4) FOUR Subarus * portable A/C to keep our bedroom cool for sleeping and give us some relief plugged into the generator if the power goes out in summer * giant koozie to keep my McDonald's drinks cool & make the easy to carry in to work (Amazon - search "30-32 oz koozie). The ones I got were like $18 for 6 and are still in great shape after 6mo. of all day, every day use. * Costco Kirkland pre-mixed margaritas. Yum, but pace yourself! * cooling pillow cases and blanket. OMG - they seriously work and are ah-maz-ing! Mine are from Amazon, Luxear brand Arc-chill. I got 2 pillow cases on prime day last year, and they've held up great, so I got more, plus the blanket, on prime day this year. LOVE THEM! * Ebags Mother Lode travel backpack ( this one ) -- if someone tells you you need to pack "carry-on only" and you're thinking "yeah, not a chance" this is the backpack for you. You can fit a TON if needed, or zip it down to be smaller. It's perfect for places where wheels aren't much help (no elevators, cobblestones) and can be very comfortably carried even by shorter folks (I'm 5'4") even when full.

We bought a Toyota Sienna in 2003 when I was pregnant with #3. We kept it for 17 years and it was still in great condition when I traded it in for my Outback. Those two cars (and the other three Subarus we have/had) we're worth every penny. Other smart purchases: Breville toaster oven KitchenAid stand mixer (it's at least 27 years old) Shark vacuum

Splitting a pack of Astros season tickets with three other couples so we have good seats throughout the year and first dibs on postseason seats (and those are also worth what we pay for them).
Things others have said - Apple products, kindle, air fryer.
My hysterectomy two years ago.
The money we’ve spent on guitars and basses (and other instruments) together - I highly recommend a joint midlife crisis hobby rather than one that takes you and SO in different directions.
The money we’ve invested in DH’s business, which is doing well.

My Jabra+ noise canceling headphones. They fit my ears perfectly and don’t fall out even during my most intense exercise classes. The noise canceling feature is great when I’m at home and need to drown out noise.
Anova sous vide and sous vide cooking station. It is a time commitment but it makes the best food I have ever cooked. I won’t ever cook chicken breast any other way.
Contiguous no-leak straw cups. For my son. Truly the only leak proof cups on the market! Three packs of cups are sold at Costco and I’ve told all of my parent friends about them.

My divorce. Dyson vacuum iPad, I’m on my third one and would buy a new immediately if mine died. Sirius XM radio, had it since it first came out. Archie’s flip flops. I was having major foot pain since March and I bought them two weeks ago and pain is GONE. Simply Modern insulated tumbler, goes every where with me and keeps ice all day.
