usual 5 pounds of water weight during my second period in less than a month, and the board decides to call me a "mushy" pea.
It's a good thing I don't have any ice cream and potato chips right now.

Uh, you know that was "mushy" as in love, right? It was for post 214.
Sorry you are feeling down, though!

Hugs!! The recovery this year from my ablation was longer and harder than than I expected (now, I had several procedures done at once, and my internal parts are rarely where they are supposed to be/doing the things they're supposed to be doing, so my recovery experience may likely be uniquely mine) ------ BUT once the recovery was over it is FABULOUS!! No more bleeding, hormone levels better, more energy; I feel great!

I'm right there with you. I've been on my cycle for 2.5 months straight (after a failed endometrial ablation). So between the bloating and discomfort, I'm not a happy camper and always reach for my comfy/loose clothes.

My recovery was not in a great place at that same point in time after surgery - so maybe there is still hope!!

I really don't want to get a hysterectomy, but we'll see what happens. Thanks for the encouragement!

My recovery was not in a great place at that same point in time after surgery - so maybe there is still hope!! I'm hoping things improve in the next month. I really don't want to get a hysterectomy, but we'll see what happens. Thanks for the encouragement! Absolutely! I was told my recovery should only be 10 days. There were some scheduling issues, so it happened 14 days before a pre-planned vacation. Well, the vacation ended up being cancelled at the last minute because I wasn't ok to go, and that was very disappointing. Then there was an extended period of bleeding and other issues (which would be TMI), and there were a lot of dark moments in that time where I regretted the procedure and I was sure it had failed. It started turning around at about 2.5 months in the recovery. I am 5 months post surgery now, and everything is fabulous on that front!! Keep the faith --- based on my experience, you may still get the results you need from this procedure.
