... as you likely imagine her to be! It was fun to welcome her to our little corner of the world and to spend a bit of time helping her with some classroom set up. She is so very grateful for all of the support she's received from the peas and other friends, and she's gonna rock this gig! It was my first meetup with a pea IRL.... and it DID feel like I'd known her for a long time. Our conversation flowed so easily. Curious if you've met any peas in person and who they are.

Isn't it fun to meet a pea IRL? I met lucyg years ago and Anna*Banana when she was visiting my area. A few others too when I met Lucy.

How fun! I’d love to meet more Peas. Back in the day I met CairaJade and mapchic, and more recently, brandy327 and Toni Alexis- both amazing women I would love to hang out with more often!

Glad y’all had a good time, I love pea support! I got to meet lots of Texas peas when I attended Kaitlyn’s Promise Crop, even stayed with one since it was out of town.

I have met a few Peas over the years. WAY back when we had a big crop at a LSS in Aurora, CO.. I don't even know if any of those peas are on here anymore, sadly I don't remember their names. ferblover who is such a sweet pea, we have become friends although we haven't seen each other in years.. but we stay in touch. We have done several scrapbook retreats in the past. One other ex-pea.. we met and shopped together. It's a small world because her SIL worked at my daughter's school.. this Pea lived in Tennessee at the time. So it was funny to connect the dots. Other than that, one other Pea .. we call each other here and there and text.. I feel like we know each other like good/best friends...

Nice!
I've met a few over the years. One has become a dear friend, but I know she likes to be anonymous, so I won't name her.

I met SlowJoe and even vacationed with him with a group of my friends and of friend of his. He kept in contact with some of my friends in Florida. But he's the only pea I've ever met.

Pea tc lives in my city. Crafty Al of SLOC lives in a neighboring city in my metro. Gluestick Girl from SC lives a few streets over from me. It would be fun to meet a pea in the wild, but at the same time I like my anonymity here.

flanz, you're a doll. I hope to meet you someday, too. I've met **GypsyGirl** and she was just delightful. She has the most beautiful eyes. I met another pea and she's become a very good friend. Love your story about the pea in the grocery store, cadoodlebug. You must have thought you had a stalker when she approached you. "Hey, aren't you a pea?" It's fun to meet peas. We are a big group of very close strangers.

I have met a number of peas ( cadoodlebug was one of the first). Compwalla was a local before she moved to Texas and I’m so glad I got to know her before it was too late. blueswede lives nearby and has become a good enough friend that sometimes I forget I originally met her through 2peas. Actually, I met a number of local peas at (pea organized) LSS meet-ups or crops. I went stamp shopping with @scrubologist in Seattle, and had breakfast and a tour of the town with Lindy (who I don’t think made the move over here) in Austin. I used to go to crops with PrettyInPeank, but haven’t seen her in awhile (here or IRL). Hope all is well. There are other locals I get together with from time to time, but I’m not sure they want their names mentioned here.

I've met a few Peas too, some of been friends for years. Like Leigh, but she left 2Ps long ago. I can't remember her peaname I think it had teacher in the name.
Also have met up with Qwendy and Molove and they are sweeties.
I'm also phone friends with a few who live out of state but never met IRL and I adore them.
I was part of a local scrapbook group who got infamous on the scrapbook boards. They went to a CK convention in AZ and complained about a shitty class they took and it erupted into WW3 on the internet. Anyone remember the Foxy Croppers? OMG because one of the gals was Hispanic the story got out that they were a GANG (they wore Foxy Cropper sweatshirts as a joke). I didn't make that trip but boy did I hear about it after.

Yes, I've met a few. jenjie was the last Pea I met, and she was as sweet as I imagined!! It felt like I knew her for a long time. She's an incredible person. DH liked her a lot! I also met I-95 about 15 years ago where I worked (Jenny Craig). She was in the area so she stopped in. We had a lovely talk and I wanted it to continue. Her loss was profound and I wish I had more time with her, but I was honored to have met her.

I've met about a dozen wonderful peas and some have become good friends. A group of us used to have GNOs but life and kids took us in different directions ...facebook keeps us connected. Several of us roomed together and attended the first official 2peas crop in Madison.
Unfortunately I don't remember all their board names - Chickpea, Sherrie_N, *Luanne*, Angelag, Wendylee, Mapchic, Kayfril, MrsP, Stephanie Smokovich (created Bella Blvd) and others.

How nice that you and katyb got to meet! I love hearing these stories! I will post one later of the fun crop in Los Angeles (organized by the awesome Ching Tan!) where I bonded with donna. We also shared a room, and we made each other LOL many times! I've told this story a few times---when I was making the hotel reservation, my sister thought I was insane to share a room with an internet weirdo. My sis also imagined me arriving to the crop room that would be full of scary, fat, old men smoking cigars and gawking at me, and saying my name in a lascivious way : " heyyyy.....nice to meet 'cha, scrappintoee !" ( Miss you, donna! And how shockingly sad to learn her husband recently died, too! Ugh, their poor sons! ) The pik from that 2004 crop has donna, me, and MANY other peas in it, but there were also many members of "scrapbookaddict". I don't think any of the peas I met there made it to this new board. ---Went to Dallas GASC ( " Great American Scrapbook Convention") in ? can't remember what year. I tried to meet up with a pea, but it didn't work out. ---Anyone remember when they had a GASC in Arlington, Virginia? Almost sure I didn't meet any peas there, either. ----- Met several peas at Creating Keepsakes University in 2001 or '02? There's only one I know of who still posts here, but she may not want me naming her. I also doubt she remembers who I am, but I loved chatting with her and looking at each other's scrapbooks I also had the pleasure of hanging out with "Zing Queen" at CKU. She was SO fun and energetic, and I admired her scrapbook skillz!
