I live where it is very cold. I have to wear loose fitting socks to bed. I know others feel differently. How about you?

In the winter if I feel especially cold (I keep my room cold) I will start with socks on but take them off soon after.

Absolutely not. Doesn’t matter how cold it is. My feet sweat even when cold so socks just make it worse. My feet remain cold and then they’re also wet. I wrap the bottom edge of my blanket under my feet instead.

No, but I do sleep under a fuzzy throw, with another on top, which tends to keep my feet warm, in fact all of me.

No, my toes need their freedom at night. I do have a heated mattress pad, so that really helps. I have it on long enough to go to sleep and then it turns off. I also have a very long little doggie that my toes can push under for additional warmth if needed.
If I fall asleep with socks on for some odd reason, I wake up in the middle of the night and fling the socks off.

I try to avoid foot prisons at all costs.
It is incredibly rare for me to wear them.
Like, only if I am hiking a snowy mountain and absolutely have to wear them with my hiking boots level rare.
The thought of trying to sleep in them makes me panicky.

Never ever. Sometimes if my feet are cold I will get into bed with socks. I usually read for a little bit each night and by the time I ready to sleep the socks are gone!

No, I never wear socks to bed. My late husband did but that is because his feet occasionally had neuropathy. I rarely wear socks during the day either.

No! Even when we had snow here and it was in the low 20's in February, no socks.
I am one of those who need 1 foot out of the covers to regulate temp.

No. I don’t like anything on my feet at night.

On a very cold night I will put some loose fluffy socks on, and I have usually kicked them off within 20 minutes.

I have bad circulation and my extremities are often cold. I sleep with a heated mattress pad and feather duvet but a few times a year I just can’t sleep because my feet are freezing so I will get up and put on a pair.

Often, but they usually come off as I get warm a few minutes in.

No, I use an electric blanket until it gets warm enough in the spring.

No. I would die of heat. I have to be able to stick my feet out from under the sheet if I get too hot.

It's been years since I needed to (our bedroom can be quite cold in the winter) but now I can't imagine wearing socks at night since most of the time I have one foot poking out most of the time.

I lotion my feet and put socks on before I go to bed and then kick them off a bit later. I'm forever pulling socks from the bottom of the mattress when I untuck the sheets

No, not even on the coldest of cold nights. I can’t even really relax at home while awake with socks on. I take them off when I take off my shoes at the door.

I can't sleep with socks on. I can barely sleep with shorts and a tank as it is. DH will wear socks in the winter. He's always complaining he's cold. I think he would rather live in AZ sometimes.

I prefer not to. A few times a year, I will, but they are usually not on my feet when I wake up. I am another one who sticks their feet out from the sheets during the night. I get frustrated when the sheets are tightly tucked in and I can’t stick my feet out! 😂

Yes. If my feet are cold I won't fall asleep. I put on loose fuffy ones sometimes I can kick them off before falling asleep, sometimes I wear them for awhile.

Sometimes when it is cold I will begin the night with socks on, but pull them off during the night.
What makes it odd is that I usually have to have 1 foot outside the covers to be able to sleep.

I rarely wear socks. I can usually will my feet warm. Sometimes I realise my feet might have been cold for ages, so I concentrate on making them feel warm, and bizarrely it works! 😄
