I'm recording it from 2:15AM our time and will watch sometime over the weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing William/Catherine and their beautiful children. And to see what mischief Louis gets into.

As a former history major I’m interested in watching all kinds of historical events. This may be the only chance I have to see this particular ceremony and all its trappings, so I won’t just ignore it. I admit to a certain fascination with the pomp and circumstances of the monarchy - but kind of in a weird horrified way, as it is so far removed from anything I’d want for myself!
How much I see live and how much on reruns or video clips will depend on when I wake up.

And to see what mischief Louis gets into. I would not find Louis fun at all! As a parent, he would drive me nuts! My dd's were not allowed to act up the way he does ... he will only get worse if they don't start shutting him down ... Mean mum here.

I remember watching Queen Elizabeth's coronation on our old black and white tv. My mom was really into it. As a small child it was just a very long event. I'm going to skip this one.

Yes, we're having brunch in our pajamas with some neighbors at a funky place down the block and then a parade goes by later in the morning so we've got a full morning! That seems like a lot, but you get a lot. I think I'd go for that. That menu looks like what one might order if they had started the party during Happy Hour on the 5th.

My dd's were not allowed to act up the way he does ... he will only get worse if they don't start shutting him down ... Neither were my kids. The problem is they can't do it in public with the world watching and he's smart enough to know it. I'd be willing to bet they shut it down at home.

Yes interested in the history and enjoy the pomp and circumstance and to see what everyone’s wearing lol. It’s not a great hour here, so I need to shut it down and get a few hours sleep lol!
The mantle is decorated, coronation chicken is made, modified coronation mini quiches prepped, tea, lemon cakes with blackberry, some fruit and tea sandwiches ready to go. Dressed in my best pjs, some jewelry, and either a fascinator or tiara depending on how the mood prevails in the morning!
Just a bit of fun on a Sat.

I watched a couple minutes super early this morning, but will catch the highlights later. It's novel for me, that's what makes it interesting.

DH and I watched it through - I love the pomp and ceremony with the bands, military personnel and horses.
So much work must go into these processions it is lovely to watch. It may be the only coronation I get to see.

I watched a small amount. the crown being put on his head, and Camilla being crowned, and people pledging their fealty to him. I'm glad I got to see at least part of it.

I loved every minute of it. I love the Royal Family and look to them when we have times of trouble in our country. I never thought I would get over Diana’s death and yet this has made all that sadness go away forever.

I winded up not being sleepy so I watched the entire thing live here on the west coast. I was just freaking blown away by Princess Catherine's beauty.
MG she's flawless, I just love her. She reminds me of Vivian Leigh as Scarlett O'Hara. That same china doll face and beautiful eyes.
I thought Camilla seemed a bit comical, and I kept thinking she wanted to hurry up and get on with all this so she can go drag a hit off her fag. I felt happy for Charles. He's worked all his life for this and despite his failings as a human being, I feel like he's earnest to do a good job and make you Brits proud.
Princess Charlotte is just the perfect little princess and reminded me so much of Princess Leia, lol. She's prim and proper but I can see her keep her brothers in line.
Harry, well, whatever dude.
