Good morning. Hope sueg is having a great time. I already got a lot done, and it’s not even 11 o’clock. I weed whacked, put some mulch down out front, planted a few more flowers in the front of my yard and around a bucket outback. Now to hop in the shower. My brother is going to come over for a little while this afternoon and hang out, no idea what’s for dinner might be like last night a bowl of ice cream. But that’s because I had a late lunch with a very good friend of mine. I had an absolutely delicious hot honey chicken sandwich at 110 Grill. My good friend is gluten-free and this place has a completely gluten-free kitchen and the chefs don’t even work in both kitchens.

Hi leannec enjoy your breakfast! I am thinking about all the possibilities for my camper which I have not decided yet if I will buy it. Haha...honestly Jeremy has been watching all sorts of renovation videos. So I think his mind is made up too. I'm lucky that he is handy. And that I paint and sew too. Together we should be able to do something phenomenal. My morning is moving slow... I'm going to clean up my kitchen this morning and then I will crochet. I got some new yarn yesterday and I want to play with it. Dinner tonight will be a gingery beef stir fry. I need some groceries too. I'm hoping Jeremy will go.

jeremysgirl I seem to recall someone on here renovating a small camper kind of in the style that you’re looking for if I remember who it was, I’ll let you know ETA: 2peasrefugees.boards.net/thread/40451/vintage-trailerI know the pea referenced. She deleted her account as you can see. Not sure if you’re on Instagram but her lemonade shop is pikes_peak_lemonade.

Enjoy your Sunday leannec . Have fun relaxing w/your brother christine58 . I really hope that you get that camper, jeremysgirl . I'm sure that more than a few peas will have decorating ideas. What a fun way to spend long weekends. Road trip! Yds got home late last night. This am he's going w/dh to help pick up my car from the hospital. I drove myself thinking that I would be coming straight home. I didn't anticipate sedation. I ordered groceries and he's going to pick them up for me. I might ride w/him just for the company. So, we were gonna buy ds a new car. His is almost 10 years old and we bought it used from a rental sales company, the only used car we have ever purchased. He loves his car, but it's gonna start needing repairs and the registration is due this month. What young person doesn't want a new car? Looks like we might give him my car that is still under warranty and I might get a new car. I love my car and will probably just replace it, but w/a different color. We keep our cars for years, so buying a car after 3 years sounds decadent. We shall see. I'm guessing we'll decide today. If he wants a new car then I'll have to go car shopping w/him. Blech! At least nowadays you can buy online and use the magic word, "COSTCO".
ETA: I'm not a typical car customer. I don't negotiate w/toddlers, drunks, terrorists or car salespeople. I've been offered jobs when I've tried to purchase cars. That's my Sunday Brag.
Enjoy today, my friends. Be happy. Be relaxed and have fun!

Picking out a new car could be super fun scrapmaven! I know you know how to not get taken advantage of but you should try to have a bit of fun picking out what you want.

Hi everyone! A quiet rainy morning here. Graduation has been moved inside today. And we've learned that they actually have a section for each kid's family. So we will be in fairly close proximity. 😳
Just getting ready now. Have a happy Sunday!

I assume there will be golf on today so I can do what I want. I needed something from Costco and may go out there this afternoon.
Dinner tonight is a mystery. My mouth was lonely last night and I ate everything in sight. I ate an entire container (500g) of Greek yoghurt. It was very good. 🤦🏼♀️
I hope everyone has a great day today. I hope rain comes to the fires.

She will hate it and be forced to just fake smile! Or you might be pleasantly surprised and she will be civil ... even friendly? One can hope!

I have been painting, again today...my "wall of the day" is done...and I just have one left..of course that wall has the huge Kallax against it. It is loaded with mostly completed albums....so I'll need help moving it, even if I empty it first. Most likely on tuesday, as tomorrow I get my 4th eye injection. Not looking forward to that as last time it really hurt, and continued to hurt for a day or so after.
My older brother will be here for a few hours this afternoon/evening as his SO has someplace to be and He cannot be left alone. He has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. We will be grilling burgers and dogs and I'll make cole slaw. Will probably do a fire in the solo, and the guys can do s'mores . We will just hang in the yard and chill. There will also be an adult beverage in the mix!!
tmarschall...Hope all goes well and you enjoy the time with family!!!

This afternoon there’s a middle school graduation party for the 14yo and his stepbrother (we will repeat this exercise in two years for the younger stepbrother). They won’t actually graduate until Wednesday, though. Feels weird to celebrate in advance, but they’ll be out of town the following weekend. Anyway, if any dinner is required after that, there’s the ever-present rechauffe in the fridge.

Well today is a lazy day at least up until now. I kept getting woken up last night after going to sleep around 1 am. Our golden boy now sleeps on our bed and thinks his head should be up near ours. Then I woke up to him draped across my ankle. And on and on. And so I slept in.
I'm not sure what is for dinner yet. Maybe Salmon, or naan pizza.

Hi well for dinner tonight I plan to make The Keg prime rib burgers, a sweet onion, coleslaw and grape tomatoes. Sorry Becki there will be no buns allowed.
The Wheaten doodle thinks he needs his long walk soon so I will probably take him soon. So much drama. He keeps staring at me like I have ignored him all morning and I haven’t.

Welp, the car shopping has changed. Ds doesn't want a new car. He loves his car. Though he really doesn't like driving my car. So, we're gonna make him choose a new car. We're such horrible parents. hehe. karenlou, "The 36 Hour Day" is a bible for families and patients of dementia patients. It really gives great information. I highly recommend it.

I made a beeline for the grocery stores after church and we are having chicken stirfry with strawberries for dinner. I went to two stores!! now watching giants baseball and reading the sunday paper. another lovely grey day. I'm in our tiny choir at church and it is always a good day when we sing handel.. though I had a tough time, cause I had to share music and that is hard on a piece that we learned this morning --it was a tricky bit of music. all 5 of us were there.

Aside from bulldogs and pugs, my heart just MELTS when I see a photo of a golden! I'm sure there similar memes for your sweet Finn! jeremysgirl I seem to recall someone on here renovating a small camper kind of in the style that you’re looking for if I remember who it was, I’ll let you know GAH! That camper is sooo cute, I can't stand it! jeremysgirl --I can imagine you having an adorable stove like that, plus all the cute curtains you could make, etc. I go crazy over LOVE small, cozy spaces!!! Din-din is leftover steak fajitas from our fave local Mexican place. They make the BEST salsaaaa !!!!

Wow---you JUST learned it this morning? ! ? I sang in a choir a million years ago, and we did a few songs from Handel's "Messiah." I LOVE the violins in "Unto Us A Child Is Born!"

The wedding reception last night was incredibly boring. The meal was delicious though so that helped. It was prime rib with a crazy assortment of salads. The music was good but no one danced - and I mean no one. I felt bad for the DJ. We were home by 9:30 and then I drove my mom home because she doesn’t see well enough to drive in the dark.
It’s a rainy day here. It’s the first rain in a couple of weeks so much needed. The farmers will be doing the happy dance.
DH and I are going out for supper to a local restaurant. A friend of ours is on his own because his wife is away this week so he is joining us for supper.

taylortroop...wow, what a bummer! I've never been to a boring wedding reception... Did the bride and groom at least dance to one special song? Did they do the mother/son father/daughter dance? I wonder if they're sad that no one danced or had fun. scrapmaven ....It is just terrible that you had to sit on a gurney for SEVEN HOURS yesterday !!! I hope your procedure was successful!

It’s Sunday and BFF reminded me we usually snack for dinner. I think we are having sushi from the grocery store which isn’t my favourite but my dad loves it. Maybe for dessert I will make waffles. They are very good.

@scrapintoee: The bride and groom danced their first dance. It was very awkward! It looked like they tried hard to choreograph the moves (dips, twirls, etc) but it was a hot mess. There was also mother/ son dance, bride/brother dance, etc. All were painful to watch. The speeches were also hard to sit through. Every single person cried through their speech. Some cried so hard, there were long awkward pauses while they tried to get it together enough to continue. The mother of the bride had to get someone else to read her speech while she bawled beside them. I know I sound very harsh but for the guests, the whole thing was just hard to watch! But the meal was delicious!!!
Just home from supper out. I had chicken, bacon, lettuce, cheese on a bioche bun with raspberry mayo and a side house salad. DH had the perch dinner. Both were very tasty.

Happy Monday morning from me. It has been all go since I got here, so I haven’t had much chance to drop in and say hi! Yesterday was Lucia’s birthday party - her actual birthday is Wednesday - and we had a great time. She was such a little trooper - kept going all afternoon from midday until 5pm when we finished the bulk of the tidy up. I followed DS home with a car full of stuff, and she fell asleep as we left the hall, woke up as we arrived at their house, and that was when the tiredness hit her, and we had a grumpy, hungry baby. I unloaded and left her with mama for bedtime routines. Sophia and I have been having so much fun. Friday we went to the craft store together and bought supplies to make a ‘first year’ photo board for Lucia. We then came here to my sisters house and put it together. She is a natural, sticking things and placing stickers just right! Saturday we were buddies during party set up, as she was feeling a bit left out, being to small to do much, so we sat and chatted and read stories. Yesterday, I was her ‘go to’ when mum was busy. Best fun was when we decided to FaceTime her grandfather from the party, and she took off with my phone so he could chat to everyone there!
Food yesterday was party lunch - chicken and salad, chips, popcorn, cheezels and naturally, cake - with pasta back at my sister’s place for dinner. I started feeling really tired about 9pm, like falling asleep at the table tired, so I went to bed. I must have needed it - I slept through until 8:20 this morning!
Have a great week!

It's a public holiday here today (Monday) for the King's Birthday. No, it's not the actual date of his birthday, just like it wasn't the date of the Queen's birthday either, but for some reason we get a public holiday on the second Monday in June every year. 🤷♀️ So I am sitting in bed with my coffee and laptop. Sure beats working! We went out for dinner with friends last night. I suggested a Thai restaurant that I went to with work colleagues a few months ago. When I went the first time, I had the most divine meal - a deep fried whole barramundi with sweet spicy sauce and Thai basil. I have been dreaming about it ever since, so of course I ordered the same thing. The only problem was I had to share it with three other people! Luckily the other dishes we ordered to share were lovely too.

there is a lot of sheet music that has handel, or bach, or whomever that is arranged for 2 voices.. and is just a short section of music. so you get the flavor, but it is usually not too hard. this one was very weird in the timing.. and the piano part was not that helpful. we have been known to do 3 parts.. I do the top one, the three other ladies do alto and we have one baritone/tenor. we switch between stuff we know and stuff we don't.. often giving ourselves a few weeks to learn pieces. the joys of a small choir. we have a very small urban church..

Ex used to hate that about me! When it comes to food, do not try to take anything from my plate ... I will have a conniption! I understand family style eating at restaurants though ... did you get enough of your fish?
