My girls are in line this morning for the merchandise. They got there around 6am. They are about 30 back in line so they will have their pick of whatever they are buying. I have to say it is making me really excited for the concert on Saturday. My oldest has made us some 'swag' bags.. which she is saving to give to us before the concert. I'm excited just because they are so excited. I think it is going to be a great LONGGGG day on Saturday. We have a parking pass (thank God) so we are able to park really close to the stadium. Parking opens at 1pm. So yeah.. chairs/food/bracelet making is probably what we will be doing for hours. haha..
Do I think it is silly? Yep. Do I think it's a great bonding moment for the three of us.. YEP!!! I have been practicing my lyrics too.. uggg. I have been ordered to do so. HA..

Have fun! She was a huge hit here in Cincinnati, a big boost for the economy they say. I loved seeing all the people on the news so excited, their glittering clothes and bracelets.

My girls and I went to KC night 1 and it was an amazing time for us. We weren't able to get to the merch truck the day before so the crew neck my dd really wanted was sold out so I am glad you are able to go today.
Youngest dd made about 80 bracelets and traded more than half of them. She loved it!

We didn't get to go when she was in our area and I was still "required" to learn the extra stuff. (1, 2, 3, let's go B! haha)

Awwwww have fun! My DD and friends went to see one of her shows in Nashville. They wore their best glittery outfits and had a great time. DD was able to get the tour shirt and a fleece. Not the coveted blue one that seems to be the big item but she was happy.
She called me a couple of weeks ago and said she was able to get in for the email notifications of when Taylor hits Ireland and Austria. She asked if I would want to go. Well, for nothing else than a trip to Ireland, you betcha! So we will wait and see.

My favorite part of T-Swizzle coming to KC (even though I didn't get tickets) was how everyone seemed to have a genuinely good time. It coincided with the Speak Now release, too, which was even better for the peeps who had to stay at home those 2 nights. The Zoo, Union Station, KCPD, WaterOne, the libraries all had different posts to celebrate. Between those posts and the newspaper (forgot about the wheat field!) I'll have a few things to add to my PL, besides my lack of tickets.

it seemed like it was a huge boost to the KC economy too. I knew people who just did a drive by of the stadium to hear parts of the show. Have fun!

It has been more fun than I thought it would leading up to Saturday.. It's true that everyone is just loving each other and being happy. I think I will be crying more than anything (cause I cry at everything) because I know how much fun the girls will have.
My oldest had tickets to her last concert and she accidently double booked herself to Germany/France (with me).. didn't realize it. She had to give those tickets up then.. So this is for sure making up for it.

You will have so much fun! We went to the Mpls one, friday night. The closer you park to the staduim the harder it is to get out. So just a heads up there. There is just SO much traffic. Our parking ramp was a ways away, but we had a hard time getting OUT of the ramp. Once out, it was good. Hydrate before you go. We had people passing out in our line. We did not stand in line outside for merch. They have the same merch INSIDE, but much less lines. So we got in line as soon as we got thru the doors, and waited in line for about 15 mins. Got the blue crew. I didn't need any sort of extra charger for my phone or anything. Read your stadium restrictions. No water bottles were allowed, but they were letting in people with them I think due to the heat. No metal water bottles though.
Have fun!!

Well they just got done with the merch bus. They were probably 30 people in to begin with but when they opened the bus it was a complete panic/sh*tshow. Everyone rushed the bus and it was nuts. They were able to get what they wanted so I guess they were happy with what they got. They are not showing me anything until Saturday. So not sure what I will end up with. I asked for the blue crew or whatever hoodie type thing they had.. I wanted something low key so I am not wearing something that screams Taylor Swift.. something subtle. My poor youngest has a hard time with large crowds but sounds like she did great.

I figured since we were going to be close inside the parking area it will be forever getting out. I think we might just hang out and take our time and let it die down a bit. We are bringing a cooler of food/drinks. I won't bring in my water bottle (I will grab a plastic one in case I have to toss it) I think it will be hot out but there is rain right now in the forecast. I thought the bus had 'some' bus only items?? I don't know? lol.. I don't care THAT much. haha. Yes I need to find our stadium rules and see what we can/can't do. I am assuming it will be similar to a regular football game maybe with some added security stuff?

Security was very lax in MN. Yes, it’s the same as football ones. Most have clear bags a certain size.

My plan was to sit in our seats for about a half hour to let it die down because I didn't want my 11 yo and I getting separated. However, security was pushing everyone out and were not budging. Traffic seemed to flow out of the lots pretty well though. If you can still get Loop earplugs I would highly recommend them. It was an absolute game changer for us. They made it seem like Taylor was singing just to us. I took them out a few times to make sure it wasn't better without and that was never the case. The girls wore theirs for the entire concert as well. It took out all the screaming girls so you could really hear her vocals.

My 32 year old daughter took my 14 year old granddaughter to the Saturday KC concert. She scored last minute tickets about 2 pm Saturday and then had to drive from St Louis. She said they missed a bit of the preconcert acts, but still had a great time.

Oh I totally forgot.. city of Denver is REALLY smart.. whoever is the planner (is there such a thing) is.. had one job.
There is a ballgame down the street.. of all teams coming to town it is the Yankees. It will be a big game.
OH and the Cirque du Soleil is also the SAME evening and even closer to the stadium... (I was thinking Denver was going to use this parking lot for overflow. It's close to the football stadium and perfect for overflow parking)
WHO made all these plans on the same night? (it's around 3 miles between all these stadiums)
I'm so glad I am the rider and I'll just close my eyes and ignore it all.. haha

My daughter and her friend are going tomorrow. She is sooooo excited! Cute sparkly outfit, bracelets, and really cute small clear heart shaped purse lol. I’m nervous for them and the crowds, (3 big events oh my) and hoping the weather holds!
I hope you have a great time!

How exciting. My daughter got tickets for one of the Melbourne shows in February. What a mission that was. We ended up having to go for a hotel package which had tickets connected as it was all we could get. But she's very lucky. At least she got them and reasonable seats too. With over 100,000 at the MCG it is going to be absolutely huge. She's already planning the outfit. I've got her some silver cowboy boots for her birthday which she doesn't know about yet. They are exactly what she wanted so I know she will love them.

My oldest made herself some blingy shoes.. she put rhinestones all over them and spelled out "ERA Tour" on them. I need to remember to get some good pictures.

Both of my girls wore boots. They each put a pair of fuzzy socks in my bag and during the concert they took their boots off and wore those socks while they danced. They only sat down a total of about 5-10 minutes of the entire concert. Both were very glad that they saw that tip in tik tok videos.
