No more than a week for me, for my husband about 4-5.

7-10 days. We like to break up our stay at the resort by adding 2-3 day trips but that would be dependent on where your resort is. If someone else is paying, I could stay at an all inclusive forever and never leave the property, but with so many choices for food and drink it wouldn’t be particularly healthy for me lol

DH must have signed up for last minute deals from somewhere, and one was 4 days 3 nights and that just seems short to me. It was Montego Bay Jamaica Sandals. I am not looking to do much but look at the view, and eat and drink. And DH too!

I wouldn't go for less the 7 days because of the cost of airfare.

We did a week in February, and could have stayed a few more days for sure. Next time we might try 10 days.

Are you an adventure and excitement seeker or can you relax on the beach for several days? I know some people get buggy after two hours at the beach.

We usually go for a week. We've only been once for 4 days and it was too short. I love an all-inclusive so you can do the beach one day and an excursion the next. Repeat. When we stayed on property for the day, we usually rode bikes or rented a boat for the afternoon.

It’s been years since I stayed at an all inclusive resort - but just a few days would be enough for me.

We've stayed for a week and wished we stayed for longer. However, we don't only stay at the resort. We do a mix of hang around the resort days with get out and do things days.

We did Sunday - Friday. But we only did one activity off-site. If there are sights, then add on as necessary.

We had a week at the Occidental Nuevo Vallarta and I need 10 days and I would spring for the Royal treatment. It was awesome.

10 days would be perfect. One week is not enough. You barely start to relax and then it's time to go home! But as a rule I don't like to travel anywhere I have to fly to for less than 2 weeks.

Ha! I am not a sit on the beach or by the pool person so 4 days/3 nights is enough for me! Maybe 4 nights.

We usually go for a week when we do an all inclusive. Our travel times are probably a bit shorter - we're in Munich and generally fly to Greece, so it's only a couple of hours. This year we're trying out Bulgaria and it will be abut 3.5 hours to get there, still not long.
We tend to switch up all inclusive beach weeks with city stay and more active vacations, so when we choose an all inclusive beach vacation, it is because we want to do basically nothing for a week. We might do one day of exploring, but that's about it. I am more likely to be checking out the spa options.

We did all-inclusive to St. Lucia in March for 4 nights, 5 days and we both decided that next time, it needs to be a week minimum.

We LOVE the Royal Solaris resort in Cancun. We've been going since 1998! It is a timeshare resort but you don't need to own a time share to go there. It is an all inclusive resort which includes all of the activities, food and drinks 23 hours a day, every day! There's always activities and lots to do. We also go on excursions to see other areas. They have 7 restaurants where you can choose from buffet, in a palapa and all the way to fine dining (Italian, Asian and American). They offer many items on their menus to choose from and the theme of the menus change daily. Plus, you can eat as much as you want! We had dinner one night where the guy was a fighter. Rib Eye steaks was one of the choices. He ordered 3 of them plus sides etc. He ate everything! We have found that our choices seem to be mostly on the healthy side. I never gain weight from our trips. My husband will gain maybe 2 or 3 lbs. And we eat a lot at each meal! There's many healthy options. We have met so many nice people from around the world and still keep in touch with them. In the last 2 years, we stayed 3 weeks each time. I could have stayed longer but around day 18 or so, my husband said he's ready to go. This year we'll be going for 2 weeks. All-inclusive resorts are not for everyone. This is the ONLY all inclusive resort we've ever been to so I don't know if others are the same.

We're doing a week in September. I wouldn't mind a day or two longer, but DH would feel guilty about leaving work any longer.

I am usually ready to come home from vacation after 5 nights/6 days. Me too. We usually go for 7 days but 5 is plenty for me. Every day is the same. I prefer moving around and seeing sights.
