I have never been to Yellowstone. I would really like to go and have just started planning a trip for next Fall.
I have never been to Cabo San Lucas. I have friends and family who go there regularly, but it really doesn't appeal to me since I'm not really a beach person.

I live in So Cal and once or twice a year we drive to Sedona AZ. That route takes you very close to the Grand Canyon, which I have never seen! We keep saying we are going to stop, but just never have.

- I have never been south of the border, despite having lived in So. Cal. all my life. Some of my co-workers even used to go to Tijuana for lunch (a 2-hour lunch). - Yellowstone - Chicago - One of those resorts in the South Pacific where you hotel room is over the water.

I've never been to Disney World or Disney Land - Call me crazy, but, I also have no desire to! Just hearing about the cost, the crowds, the waiting in line, the heat is enough to make me long for a secluded beach! LOLOL! I've never been to the Grand Canyon either ... I've been to Yellowstone and I feel like the Grand Canyon would pale in comparison as far as how many different things there are to see. auntkelly , You will LOVE Yellowstone! It is also getting quite crowded though. Make sure to allow plenty of drive time though because there is A LOT of milage between the more popular "attractions". That being said, there is something cool everywhere you look. Beautiful scenery, wildlife of all kinds, bubbly, steamy science stuff. It is an amazing place! Planning accommodations ahead is a must. We stayed in our RV at Henry's lake State Park, west of Yellowstone. It was about a 20-30 minute drive in just to the edge of the park. There is little to no cell service in the park. We packed a lunch every day and found picnic spots along the river to have lunch. We met some great people too! Have fun!!!

Thought of another place - Zion National Park. I’d love to walk through the Narrows and climb up Angel’s Landing, although it would terrify me.

In the US, I have only been to both Disney parks and Washington DC and to Miami to leave on a Caribbean cruise, though we didn’t see a lot of Miami as we were just there overnight before the cruise. In Europe, I haven’t been to Portugal, Scotland or Iceland and there are many places in Spain that I haven’t visited but would like to go to. I’d also like to visit Sofia Bulgaria and Bucharest in Romania. I hope one day it is safe for me to visit Kyiv.

Mexico is one that surprises people because it's so easy to get to from the west coast.
I'm not a beach person, so most Mexican destinations (all inclusive) people go to aren't that appealing to me. Yes, I'd love to spend 2 or 3 days at one, but that's it. I like to explore and go off the beaten track, so while I'd love to visit Mexico as a whole, I don't feel confident doing so at this time.

I've never been to Disney World or Disney Land - Call me crazy, but, I also have no desire to! Same. (Well, I did go to Disneyland a few times as a child, but that was in the late 70s/early 80s, and it was a very different experience than today.)

Too many to list.
At the top of my "to visit" list. Road trip New England Blue Ridge Mountains. Specifically The Waltons (TV show) Museum Road trip Oregon Coast North Carolina. Where the wild horses run on the beach.

I'm sure it's fun but just not my thing at all. We've been checking stuff off the bucket list but still so many places we want to go to. Next up is a Rhine River cruise and Bermuda so those two will be checked off. Other places we hope to see one day: Yellowstone Spain Paris Savannah area Australia/New Zealand I've been working on going to all 50 states and I have about 11 left. I want to see all the places!

People always go on about hiking to the bottom, yada yada, and that is not something I even remotely am interested in, so to me it would be like looking at a huge hole. I've seen plenty of canyons and gorges that are lovely, just no need to see the Grand Canyon.

We loved it there. Not as crowded but still gorgeous views. There are cave dwellings and petroglyphs. It is further east than the Grand Canyon, on the Navajo Reservation, but so worth the extra drive.

Oh brother, I thought this was about common/popular places you haven't been that might surprise people, not places you want to go.
The list of places I want to go is HUGE! I want to go everywhere! We travel a lot, and haven't even made a dent in all the places we want to see. Geez, we can't stop going to the UK because there is always so much that excites us, and we haven't been to Scotland yet really. Dh calls me Go Along, because I will always say yes to a trip somewhere.

I think it's much more lovely than just a hole in the ground, but there are so many people it's not as enjoyable as it could be. My favorite place I've visited in Arizona would have to be Red Rocks State Park in Sedona. We went on a weekday right after a light rain and had the place almost to ourselves. So many different species of birds, beautiful plants and trails and rocks, we just fell in love! I would definitely choose that over going back to the Grand Canyon, but I'm still glad I got to visit GC. Landmarks and touristy places are popular for a reason!

I think New Orleans is the only one I haven't been to - I've been to Louisiana, but not New Orleans and have always been scared off by the feedback that it's dirty - not sure how true that is - but I love me some cajun food, so will have to hit it at some point! I did one of those where have you been apps one time and think West Virginia and Alaska re the only states I haven't been to/thru.
