But I did look at the last two pages of the most recent and didn’t see this mentioned.
Has there been any discussion on Biden and what seems to be a sudden deterioration? Sure he’s always had gaffes and some odd behavior…but every day there seems to be something new and more dramatic than the day before. He does not appear to be ok. His gait, instability, slurred speech, in addition to cognitive issues that seem to come daily.
This isn’t about Trump or who will win in 2024. This isn’t about the Democrats nominating someone else. This is about the here and now and our President does not seem to be at all well.
This isn’t even about him repeating a story nearly word for word just minutes apart. Todays concern for me was him simply reading words.
IDK how to post a link, but you can search for the video on YouTube using “Biden partners partners partners” and find it.
Sure I’m no doctor but it sure seems like there’s really something wrong.

I don't think he sounds bad.. maybe the media you listen to.. that emphasizes mistakes.. he has a speech disability.. that comes out. he gave a very strong speech at the un the other day.

If you find stories there, I will get concerned.
As long as it is only sources with an agenda I am not concerned.

By and large, I think a role as stressful as POTUS rapidly ages a person and impacts their health.
I repeated a story to my husband twice and walked into a closed door last night, because I was stressed about ongoing home projects and distracted in my own thoughts. I'm half Biden's age, with a fraction of the pressure on me. So no, I'm not especially concerned that an elderly man with more pressure on him than you or I will ever have, is showing signs of stress and aging.

Ya learn something new all the time on this board.
My son has overcome a slight stutter and grandson was a very late talker so he went to speech therapy for several years. I would have thought maybe dealing with this personally, I would have learned about Binen't disorder somewhere along the way. Does his disorder have a name?

Biden has had serious stuttering issues in the past. When tired or stressed I do think they pop out... On a visit to New Hampshire he met a little boy who stuttered, maybe 10 yrs old and got his phone number and calls him to talk about stuttering... and that it can get better with practice. I know when I am tired I have a slight hesitation in my speech. Called getting sloppy. Tiredness also affects my toe in feet, gets worse too. |

For the record, I watch the NBC Nightly News at 6:30 pm and my local NBC News in the morning as I get ready for work followed by the first 15 minutes of the Today Show. I have begun to hear about polls where the majority of Americans are beginning to have significant concerns about Biden’s health. I have seen enough elderly folks in my personal life that have difficulties so I do recognize it.
I did not know he ever had a speech impediment. I’m only basing on what seems to be a decline every time I see him on the NBC segments I see.
I suppose it was my mistake to think anyone here would want to discuss anything negative. Frankly it wasn’t a personal attack on Biden but it has been a little alarming and maybe a little personal to me.

I knew someone would say something if I hadn't. It is far too close to home for me. He should resign, now, today or first thing in the morning. He won't. I'd rather have biden any day, speaking smoothly or not, vs any republican. biden is smart, wiley.. and has accomplished a lot. I don't vote for a president based on their fluid speech.. and speech issues does not equal mental issues. it can, but it is not if a then b.

I don't watch or read right-wing media. My main source of news is AP and BBC. I voted for him and will vote for him or a Democrat in the upcoming election. Just looking at him, he looks feeble and makes puzzling mistakes. I'm flabbergasted at the support for Trump and I wish we had a better choice to run against him. However, I don't care if they go full "Weekend at Bernie's" with Biden. I'm voting for him.

Concern for his age is one thing. Yes, Americans are concerned about his age. Peas have admitted that here. I do think some of that is because the media, both left and right wing, is constantly talking about it.
Thinking Biden is deteriorating based on a video from the GOP is something different. Did you watch any of the speeches that he’s given recently? I posted 2 links from PBS to his UN speech and a speech on the economy.
If you have a video from a more neutral source or an article from a neutral source showing his decline, please post it.
I thought this wasn’t about politics? Just concern for a president? Since you mentioned inflation and the struggling middle class, yes both are happening. Mollycoddle addressed the issue of inflation. And the middle class? They have been struggling since Reagan because of Republicans, their failed trickle down economics, Trump and other tax cuts for the wealthy. The wealth gap widened because of Republicans. Biden is trying to help the middle class by restoring manufacturing, student loan forgiveness, pro-union etc
