I cover all the cameras on my laptops and monitors, even the work ones.
And, I just realized that I don’t cover my iPad /iPhone cameras and I guess that can be used to spy too. But I never heard of anyone covering those cameras.
Do you cover your cameras?

Nope. I don't cover any of them. I figure if someone wants to see me THAT badly, they can.

No, thank you for reminding me to do so. I had planned to do it a while ago but forgot.

Mine has a a thing to slide to close the camera 🚫 I just keep it off all the time because I never use it. I don't cover my phone's camera, if someone wants to watch me watching tv or whatever I guess they can.

Yes, my computer camera is covered with a piece of tape. Of course, my computer has died and is now unplugged!😊

Why? WhT would be the purpose? If they want to watch an old tired lady on her computer they can go ahead. 😂😂

Only my work laptop because I partially work from home and on those days I might be haphazardly put together. Once I accidentally turned the camera on. Fortunately it was not a live meeting.

My lap top camera is always covered. It never occurred to me to cover my phone camera. Surely anyone creeping into that would only see the area I’m looking at or the table the phone is sitting on?

I guess one of the fears is that someone can determine your location by looking through your camera. I don’t know. Lot of crazies out there. But I don’t cover my phone.

I run around naked half the time, including when reading on my iPad. So yes, I have washi tape on my cameras.

I cover my laptop computer. When I worked for a non profit, we had frequent meetings and we all agreed not to use the cameras. I just found a little $1 cover at Target with a napping corgi on it. Works great. Still on my computer 4 years later.

No, I just don't really care. My current laptop has a button you can push to disable the camera though. Better than looking at tape I suppose.

Yep - all computer cameras are covered w/ sticky notes unless needed. I'm not so worried about people seeing me specifically as I am about them checking to see if someone's home or seeing confidential information that might be around.

I recall using a (easily removable) web cam in the late 90’s. He must have been ahead of his time computer wise

I used to keep the camera on my laptop covered when I first had that feature. I remember it being recommended so "no one will spy on you." But years later, several laptops later, and having gained greater knowledge of how it all works... no cover on the camera for a long time now. I never have even thought about covering the camera on any iPhone I have had.
