I have a Bon Maman jams/jelly calendar for one of my daughters. I don’t know what the other two are getting yet.
Last year we had “spirits” calendars for all three.
We’ve done the Aldi wine, beer, and cheese calendars in the past.
If we were jigsaw puzzle fans, I would order one of these! https:/
I removed the link bc it was redirecting to ads, and I think it might be because the 40% coupon is gone? I searched “puzzle advent calendar” on Amazon, but couldn’t get a new link to work. There are a lot of options that come up in the search, though.

Funny you should mention ...
I put together makeshift ones every year. Whenever I see something that reminds me of one of my kids, I buy throughout the year. Little and/or silly, inexpensive and often vintage/second hand. When it gets to 24 things... Advent! Oh, and it's become tradition to throw dollar coins among them. My feeling was that they always like $$$ but dollar coins and $2 bills make it more memorable when spent. (think of me, dammit😜)
I just organized and put together 2 for my eldest and one for my spare child (fiance). I have yet to do DS as I think I need a few more things.
But I was just thinking maybe next year it's be easier store bought. But who knows. When I keep finding little whatnots I'll probably change my mind back.
I have bought advent and 12 days things for birthday presents for adults. Since many don't really need anything particular, I found people find it fun to have days of little self celebrating. My SisIL is a teacher with a November birthday. I gave her a 12 days of socks one year and every morning of those 12 days I'd get a picture of her feet with new socks on. Lol
Lego ones used to be the go to when kids were younger.

My 12 yo wanted a Lego calendar but then she saw the succulent set for the same price and decided to do that instead. It’s got like 12 different “pieces” so she can get it 12/1 and do it as she chooses.
My 7 yo wanted the Lego marvel one so I bought it but then he saw my DD’s and now he wants something similar but “boy” so I still have the marvel one but will probably return it for a similar priced set instead.
I’d love the bonne maman one but haven’t seen it at Costco and I’m cheap so I probably won’t get it.

I bought the 24-day one from Amazon.

Ds gets the Lego Star Wars one. It's been a tradition for years and last year when I couldn't find it locally and mentioned that to him he sounded disappointed, lol. So I ended up getting it from Amazon at the last minute. This year I realized I was dumb last year to keep looking like that, so I just bought it on Amazon.
Dd gets the Bonne Maman one, and that came from Amazon also.
Ds's stepdaughter helps ds with the Lego one, but I always send her a chocolate one also.

I always want to like the Lego ones but the builds are mostly underwhelming so I don’t buy them. I usually get DD a basic chocolate one, plus we have a reusable wooden house one that I put things into myself. Now that I have a new awesome 3D printer, I kind of want to make a set of mini cookie cutters and put them into a cloth advent calendar I bought at Target a year or two ago and send it to my friend. She made something similar for me one year and it was awesome.

I've never bought one.
If I did it would be the one from See's Candy. But, I am not spending $50 on something like that. Especially when I can get a custom one pound box, filled with my three favorite chocolates for $30-ish.

I've done the Bonne Maman one for the past couple of years. This year I'm doing a Christmas cats/dogs jigsaw puzzle Advent calendar.

I got my kids one for the first time last year. DD's was a beauty on from Amazon. I got DS and dd's boyfriend both lego ones. Not sure they actually put them together though.
I have done the 15 days of socks ones before.

Lol Lego ones used to be the go to when kids were younger. I used to do 12 Days of Christmas for the girls when they were younger, and I collected things I thought they would like throughout the year. I wrapped them and put a number on each package, then put them all into a holiday basket. They had so much fun digging through it every day to find the right number LOL. Now you’ve got me thinking about next year…. (Because there is no way I could pull it off before Thanksgiving this year).

I make my dd's a book advent calendar. They rotate days and each end up with 12 books. They are both huge readers... All the books are used (they don't care.)
DS #1 is probably getting a snack a day calendar (buy a snack box from Amazon and put it in numbered paper bags.)
DS #2 usually gets a Lego calendar, although last year I bought a rubber duck one to break things up. This year, I'll probably go back to Lego, although I personally think the Lego calendars are boring (and repetitive) DS likes them...

I'm looking for a tea advent calendar or 12 day. Please share a link if you have a recommendation. I've done the David's Tea advent calendars several different years. I like it because the little containers have enough for 2-3 cups in each, so they are great to have at work and share! It's also a great way to figure out which of their teas I like and don't like before I have to commit to a larger container. www.davidstea.com/ca_en/tea/holiday-collection/

Last year I got a puzzle one from Costco that ended up being more fun than I expected, so I may look for this year's version, or I might just get out last year's and do it over again. I was just messing around in my studio this morning and thinking about repurposing a super cute David's Tea calendar from a few years ago--I think I'm going to make 24 little pottery ornaments in the next week or so and use them. If it works out well, I have just enough time before Christmas that I might be able to make an additional one to send to my parents

I, too, am thinking about getting one for the first time. Well, first time buying one for myself. I’ve been buying them for my grandchildren for many years. I’ll try and get a chocolate one from ALDIs. Their chocolate is the best and priced right. Thank you for the reminder to get one. They go fast. Ha.

I always get my son Lego ones and a chocolate one from Trader Joe’s then we have a wooden one I put other chocolates in for him. Last year I stumbled on sone liquor filled chocolate ones at Trader Joe’s for my husband and myself and they were good I even got them late in the season so they were half off. I hope I find then this year as I will buy them again.
I would love to try a cheese one. I saw a beer one at Costco but passed on it. I just don’t like to drink that much anymore. I had a Loccitane one one year and loved it but I’m too cheap to buy one. I’m tempted by the spellbinders one but I’m too picky on my supplies these days. It sounds really tempting though.

I have one month to find the beautifully quilted advent calendar for DS. Granny bought it for him at a craft fair years ago and it’s very beautiful. I plan to fill it with something for both of them. Maybe she will get makeup and him tools or something. I have a month to do this. Any ideas what to do for them are obviously welcomed!

I got the Spellbinders Advent Calendar. I also bought the Elemis and Cult Beauty calendars after watching reviews. I like to put really nice stuff in my daughters' stockings, so this is an economical way to do that. I bought the Elemis one to mostly try out some stuff myself, but about half of it will be left to distribute into their stockings. They don't need all the "old lady" skin care. The Cult Beauty calendar had probably $800 or $1000 worth of stuff for a few hundred dollars, with lots of full-size products.
