When we moved into this condo I bought a very large vinyl piece with our name, monogram and established 2013 on it. It took up a nice area on a wall that is about 10 feet long and has no windows or doors on it. I took it off when I was getting ready to have the room painted and don’t want the same type of thing. I’m looking on Etsy for prints but can’t find anything thats speaking to me. I’m NOT a shopper and I’m NOT a decorator. I really stink at decor and want something on this wall that I’ll love. Ds keeps telling me it’s a great place for a tv…not happening!!
Whats on your walls? Any ideas for me?

Nothing really. Just a clock and a couple of small family photos. We don’t really have much wall space, only the areas between the counter and the cabinet. Can’t really hang anything there. The wall where the eating table is located is mostly all window.

Windows, that’s the only wall space we have. Take your time making your decision and get something you love, don’t pick something just to have it.

Not much because my kitchen is mostly cabinets and a lot of windows, so not much wall space. I do have one piece of art, and a calender.
Can you put a small table and some floating wood shelves?

We have about 6 ft. of space for anything. The rest is windows. We have a small shelf with our "souvenir" items from Russia. They are bright colors. A plate, 2 bowls, a kitchen utensil with painted handle. 2 of the cups that served beverages on the Russian train and a little decorative container. The cups are clear with a metal holder.

I have a small kitchen, with either windows or open shelves. There is white bead board up on the walls, counter high. So that cuts wall space in halfish. Walls very light yellow. Nothing on my limited wall space.

I don't have wall space at all in my kitchen. One is a huge window, oneside has a half wall where the dining room is located. The others are cabinets, stove, sink, refrig.

This I do have two of my daughter's paintings hung in the kitchen nook (which is primarily windows but there's a small section of wall) but the kitchen proper doesn't have any wall space - there's a peninsula, a wall with cabinets/sink and a backsplash that curves around to the fridge. Then a doorway and then the opposite wall has cabinets and backsplash and stove.

We have a painting on our wall. If you think that's a good idea you could go to Homesense, TJ Max, etc and look at their wall art. If you don't find something you like, you'll at least walk away with a sense of what you like/want and what you dislike.

I'm in a condo so my kitchen and dining room are connected ... No open walls in the actual kitchen area ... This is what hangs above my dining table ... it is a gorgeous reproduction, from my late former MIL, that I love. My kitchen faces a short hallway and so when you are at the island this is what you see ... my entire condo is done up in a "Paris" theme.

If I were you I wouldn't rush to hang anything there. Look for something that you fall in love with, even if you have a bare wall for a while. We only have one small wall because our kitchen is open to the living area and the rest of the walls are covered with windows and cabinets. It was blank for a while, but I finally had a souvenir I love from our time in Johannesburg framed. It is a vintage Ndebele beaded apron I found at a market. It suits us and I enjoy looking at. You might look through photos, souvenirs or family treasures and find something to hang that makes you smile every day!

I'll answer this in a few months, when we choose a backsplash. Right now the walls are gray, but I can't wait to finally have a backsplash. The kitchen will look so finished. Sorry, KelleeM, I know you were probably looking for ideas.

Somebody ( cadoodlebug) is hiding my apple painting by her DH, so I cannot hang it in my Kitchen!! 😊 Although, truthfully I would not hang it in my kitchen, but rather with a 16x20 canvas of the picture taken by my DS of the World Tade Center. Also with trio of pencils sketches in a 8x20 frame, I did in 1953, and a smaller, about 9x12 canvas of a picture of a 'rock 'n birdie' taken by a cousin as well as a framed oil of green apples on a red cloth painted by a cousin. My art wall!!

My kitchen walls are almost all cabinets.
I’m looking at my kitchen now and none of the walls has more than 6 inches of wall space. There’s about 6 once he’s between the in wall oven/microwave and the pantry door. That has a fruit basket hanging from the ceiling in front of it.
There is 12 inches between the pantry door and laundry room door. That has an oil painting of the Brooklyn Bridge where the sky is the same color aqua as my walls. Other than that all of the walls are cabinets.

My great-grandfather used to own a fruit shop and I have one of the old paper bags from his shop hanging on the wall at the end of the kitchen bench. My kitchen is open to my dining room, and on one of the walls there I have three unused butter wrappers from the butter factory my grandfather worked at, and an old fabric flour bag that has been framed.
While my pieces are kitchen/food themed, I really chose them because of the sentimentality.

I have one big open wall in my kitchen that is above some bottom cabinets and my dishwasher. I put up some shelves to display some of my Fiestaware. Next to the shelves (on the left)is a small space with a very small sign that says, "let your freak flag fly," and there's a small vinyl bluebird that is situated above my light switches. On the opposite side (on the right), I have a large wall calendar. And then under it is a very small decorative shelf that is painted the same color as my soffits (orange) and I put my Bose speaker on top and there are three pegs below where we hang keys and the dog's leash and harness.
My walls are a very light taupe, my cabinets are a medium taupe, and my soffits are orange. On the opposite wall, the soffit has a vinyl cling that has a line from my favorite Grateful Dead song. The window over my sink is stained glass so that's colorful too. On the other wall, the soffit has a hand-painted wooden tray my dad brought back from Mexico with big yellow/orange sunflowers on it. On the smaller wall next to my stove, I have wire racks that hold spices. That's what I have decorating my kitchen. Yes, it looks busy. I love it.

My kitchen is definitely not Swedish looking, but everything you mentioned is something I would display! My kitchen walls have art by me and by local artists, along with things I've collected like a small hex-shaped wire shelf with little Mexican animals, a small plant, a Japan era ceramic rooster, and some needlepoint/beaded signs of the zodiac for me & DH, DS, and DD. Things like that. Another hex shaped wooden shelf with a small plant, a candle, a small painting of a bee--treasures I've collected. And there is a dollhouse against the wall on top of the wooden dog crate. I change out the dollhouse depending on the season. I love eclectic collections of items like that when they're displayed artistically.

We don't have much wall space in the kitchen and we have a weirdly high window (my husband bought me a periscope so I can look out of it, short arse problems!) I bought a picture shelf from Ikea and fitted it parallel to the window ledge and filled it with plants, candles and cat ornaments.
I also have some plates on the wall, a clock and a tin sign that says 'everything is cool'.
