My mom sent my son (5 yo) a T-shirt with Snoopy and little, baby Woodstocks perched all over Snoopy and it says "Chick Magnet"... He wanted to wear it to school, but I said he could wear it at home. Yes or no to wear to school (Kindergarten)?

I *would* allow my 5 year old to wear that to school
(I was anti the other shirt in the original thread, ftr).

I was another one that said absolutely not to the other one, but this one sounds cute. I'd allow my kid to wear it.

I said no to the other one, but this one doesn't bother me at all.

Cute shirt. Seems appropriate for school to me.

I would let him wear it (but would've said no to the assassin one).

That seems fine for school. I was completely against the other shirt.

I'll be the lone naysayer - I wouldn't send my Kindergärtner to school in it ... the slogan puts it over the edge from cute to inappropriate imo. It would be ok for a teen but not a small child

My kiddo has three funny Woodstock t-shirts. One is that one, also someone tweeted, and wingman. They are pretty funny and innocent. Oh, he's twenty.

I think it's fine. My daughter had a shirt like that (well a girl's version!) and it was cute. I can't remember what it said (not boy magnet, but along those lines).

Thanks for the replies. I was leery about the chick term, but it's snoopy, so pretty cute.

I think it would be fine, but it personally would not be something I'd want worn just because it's that whole cloying cute thing that drives me crazy. But it is absolutely appropriate.

I would have no problem with my child wearing this to school, the T-shirt on the other thread though was a big NO WAY for me. Yours is just plain cute.

I think it is fine for school. However, I am going to totally clench here and say that I don't really like t-shirts that essentially proclaim (even in a cute way) that a little kid is a romantic target and/or that a kid is heterosexual. I KNOW. I have no sense of humor.

I think it sounds adorable. I don't have a problem with it, but I'm not sure it's appropriate for school. If Snoopy had a thought bubble over his head and the words "I've been tweeted" or something like that, it'd be ok. But the chick magnet wording, while cute, isn't really kindergarten safe. I'm really not usually a stickler, and I do think it is cute. Just not for school. I wouldn't make him remove it or turn it around. Just my opinion.
