I always love these threads. I picked up two Zoya Matte nail polishes on clearance today at Ulta. I grabbed Savita and Harlow. Both pretty purple/blue shades. I'm currently wearing Savita and I love it! Picture not my nails, but represents the pretty color well! Attachments:

Pretty! Does it scratch/chip easy? I don't know. I've never owned a matte polish before, so I will test it out! They were on clearance for $4, so I thought it was worth the try! |

I have my favorite on right now, Kiss Me I'm a Prince from Gelish. I have been wearing a lot of darker colors during the winter months but recently we're having very spring like weather so I decided I wanted something more light and bright. Here's a picture, not mine... I wish my nails looked this good.  |

I thought that seemed weird for an accent nail (coke nail, anyone?) so I cut the long side with my scrapbook scissors and then cut it in half, and put them on sideways. I thought it turned out pretty cute! Green is Zoya Josie, and gold (right finger, under the wrap) is Zoya Ziv.  ETA: I never use a base coat, and this is why! It made my polish bubbly! |

Waaaah. My Zoya order still isn't here!
I'm wearing an OPI gel called Muir Muir on the Wall. It's a strange color but I love it. It's an espresso brown mixed with a dark purple with a little bit of a shimmer. The photo is of the polish but the gel looks a little more brown than the polish.

Going to put on a gel polish by red carpet manicure tonight! It's a dark purple color called scandalous. I love my gel polishes, they last a long time on my nails.

I had OPI First Class Desires on a couple weeks ago and loved it. Now I have OPI How Great is your Dane and it's a pretty brown. I have Zoya Sailor on my toes.
I really need to redo my nails! I love the browns, they look so good on nails. But I think I want something different for a change. I also have Essie Girls are Out and it's so pretty!
May have to do a red on my nails to celebrate my daughter getting accepted at Univ. of Maryland on Monday! Red is one of their school colors.

I've had a lot of brights lately so I toned it down yesterday with Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Sheer Me Now. It's a sheer fleshy sort of near-white. Streaky, took 4 coats to even out, but it looks lovely--just what I was wanting.

I bought five packages of Jamberry nail wraps and still haven't tried one. Fail. I couldn't bring myself to order any. They are so darn expensive, especially since I'd never use up a whole set. I'd love to have some sort of club where I could get 2-3 of a bunch of different designs... Especially the clear designs that I could put over any color of polish. |

Blues are my favourite, but I do like a good green and this has definitely become one of my favourites on the first wear. A-England makes fantastic polishes, and unlike some indie brands there's no LE craziness. Many could easily be one coat wonders (including this one). A oldie but goodie...an LE Bobbi Brown Chrome. Goes with everything and party on your nails! We just got back from Disney so needed sparkly. LOL
