I used to color those Crayola Paint n Marker books back in the 90s while I watched my taped soaps in between shifts. It was a nice way to calm the mind. Yesterday I went to Barnes and Noble and saw lots of coloring books, and I thought of these threads, and I got one. Then I went to Michael's and used a coupon for a big pack of Sharpies. Then I did this: Thanks, all of you. I had forgotten how pleasant it can be to just sit and color.

Here's my latest done with cheapie RoseArt pencils. It couldn't look any prettier if you used a $200 pencil set - simply stunning!

I've had my Secret Garden book for a year and a half and haven't been able to bring myself to color in it yet--it's so pretty as is and I'm afraid of mucking it up.

I've had my Secret Garden book for a year and a half and haven't been able to bring myself to color in it yet--it's so pretty as is and I'm afraid of mucking it up. But it will be even prettier when you bring color to it. I promise you will not muck it up. Coloring is a journey that involves learning along the way. It is not about perfection, but about expression - and what we express is rarely, if at all, perfect. Take the leap and start on your favorite page.

Just got to get through graduation and the company that's come with it this weekend.

Here is my first using Crayola Twistable Colored Pencils and a black sharpie. I've always loved coloring, but this is a whole new level! I went and pulled my Prismacolor colored pencils out for my next page!

finsup I started printing the calendar so I'm excited to do those but I'm waiting for some finer print markers. I ordered the Sharpie ones I hope they are brighter colorers. I just have the crayola twistable pencils and then some other nice water pencils that my sister gave me but they are more for water color. Here's a heart one (another one I found online) I'm working on.... my phone doesn't take great pics I'll take a pic when it's done

I was at HL today and my youngest found a coloring book like these she wanted. She struggled with anxiety, so this is perfect for her!

Ladies, your coloring sheets are beautiful. Now that I am some what sitting again and I have new ink for my printer. I will be printing the calendar. This way each month I can put a little sunshine on our new fridge when we move.
I have been coloring like crazy since I have been down and out. I took over the dining table (counter high) for my coloring so when I need to stand I can lean against the table and color.

I'm still waiting for my coloring pages to arrive..... Do you have a printer? There are a ton of pages available for download. I could color until the end of time and never run out (but that doesn't stop me from buying books because for me hobbies are about the collecting and hoarding as well as the doing.) Here's a groovy one I did last night using 3 neon Sharpies. Attachments:

Yes, it is called Lost Ocean. You can actually pre-order it (which I did) I've seen a few hints of some of the drawings on her FB page and they look as beautiful as her other books - see below.... I ordered her book Secret Garden back in April and I just received an e-mail that it is suppose to ship next week (finally).
