I've only used Dermelastic serum for 3 days and after the first day I noticed a visible change in my stretch marks (the more fresh ones) I'm hoping that this serum will help reduce the appearance of my older stretch marks too.

After reading crystalwaston comment I bought dermelastic serum for my son who has had a sudden growth spurt and has stretch marks on his thighs (red color). We have been using for a week and the lines appear less red but it may still be too soon to tell, but it appears less red then it was before. Also, a little bit seems to go a long way.

Two one post wonders plugging this product, bumping an old thread each time? Hmmmmm... According to admin, only the first bump gets the old thread warning. If either of you are peas, I apologize. If you are selling this product in a spammy way, be advised this community is too savvy to fall for it. If your product is really good, spend some real time on this awesome board and offer to send some for free to one of our trusted enablers, then you might have more luck.

My children don't really growth spurt (yes, they are weird) so I haven't seen them on my sons. It doesn't seem all that strange that a boy would get them though. There are some boys who grow very, very quickly during a growth spurt. It makes sense that their skin might not be able to completely keep up. My girls have stretch marks in the standard places for teen girls. (Poor girls take after me. I get stretch marks and scars very easily.)

My son also has these stretch marks across his back as well. Its called adolescence striae which is a fancy word for stretch marks. My sons appeared out of know where and were very purple at first. I thought he had been hurt. He is so self conscious of them he will not go swimming or take off his shirt. He thinks people will see it and thing he was wipped and abused. Im looking into retinol treatment or laser treatment.
