I've never thought of that. I have bifocals but sometime that teeny print is just too too teeny. Take a pic and enlarge, great plan. Thanks.

... When you tell your kids: "In the olden days..." and then realise that you're talking about a time when you were alive! I was born in "the olden days"

When you look in the mirror you see an old face. Jen When you look in the mirror and see your mother's face! My Mom used to say "I feel the same inside as I did when I was young, and then I look in the mirror and think "Who is that ugly old woman???"

Slightly different twist....we were having hamburgers last night, and I was telling my husband and kids that I remembered when there were no squeeze bottles for ketchup. You are going back further than me! Lol.... I remember when it came in glass bottle at the grocery, but restaurants had red squeeze bottles they used.... Amazing I remember anything since I don't care for catsup

Most recently I felt really old when my dad, who I swear was 5 years old just last week, told me I'm going to be a grandmother! FTR, she'll be 25 this month. I'm hoping that's your DD and congratulations!! OMG, and all the gray hairs that don't belong where they are!! What about just the hair that doesn't belong where it is!! Like that one pesky black chin hair. Just one but for the love of god why on my chin? Just one? I would take just one any day. I don't wear my glasses while I brush my teeth and wash my face. So after drying my face I carefully run my fingers over my chin feeling for the pesky little bastards. And I know they are there because every night after I get into bed I run my fingers over my chin in search of them. Why, I have no idea but come morning I know I have a job to do.

when my 8YO DD asked me if when i was in school, did i use quills? LOL! No, but in elementary school, we had to get up to use the manual pencil sharpener that was really really loud! I didn't use a quill either BUT I was taught penmanship using a straight pen and our desks had those little holes in them to hold the ink bottle.

I was talking to one our of new employees last week and she asked me when I was hired. I told her and she said, "I was one month old then!"

OMG, and all the gray hairs that don't belong where they are!! I was in a public bathroom when I looked down and without thinking exclaimed. ' oh my gosh I'm going gray!' As soon as I said it I regretted it because there were several people in the bathroom. And they could not hold the laughter!

And when I was in school, we had to do reports with a fountain pen. I would make my rough draft and pencil and then proceed to copy it as neatly as I could. There always came out moment when I would be searching for my place in my rough draft and look down to realize I left the fountain pen on the page. Now there's a big big blue blob and I have to start all over! And when I got married, etiquette said that use the fountain pen to address your wedding invitations and to write your thank you notes. The point was considered too informal. It

Whenever we go out for dinner we are the oldest people in the restaurant.....unless we go eat dinner at 4pm..... When my XDH and I were young, we used to judge a restaurant by the number of older couples there. We believe that or couples knew the best places to go.

Just ONE, the same stupid one in the same exact place every time. I keep thinking if I pluck it over and over eventually the hair follicle will be destroyed but no luck so far.
