(current definition of dressed up: wearing a bra) Please clarify Is that wearing just a bra and nothing else Is that wearing a bra under other clothing I see a big difference in the two situations but maybe that's just me. With clothes. I had to run to Publix this afternoon and I swear I wasn't at all happy having to wear a bra. It was annoying.

Not all the time, but a fair amount. Weddings, funerals, work functions for DH. I go to a lot of concerts at Jordan Hall or Symphony Hall in Boston, and I like to dress up for those.
I never wear long gowns. I think the last time was my wedding, 30 years ago.

Probably 2x a month. That's about the number of times we go to "fancy" dinner.

Like, fancy dressed up? Maybe twice a year. Which means my ability to walk in heels is about a negative 3.

A coule times a year for formal fundraisers and then the odd wedding here and there. I work from home most of the time and am pretty casual there. When I go to NY to visit the office it always feels like I am a lot more dressed up, but it's still pretty casual (dress pants, nice top, heels, etc).

I have worn heels to the grocery store (with jeans though.) My daughters call me a 'girly girl' all of the time. Matching shoes, handbags, nails, underwear, all of it. My LH and I had a date night every week.

I wear long skirts with a shirt and a light weight/short sleeve sweater, a jacket or pull over 3 or 4 days a week to work and to church on Sunday. Things like this or this.Other days I don't wear a skirt, I do wear nice pants and a nice, business-casual type shirt. I still feel casual but "dressed up". It's more than I wear around the house. I do my hair, make up and wear jewelry (cute costume jewelry, mostly) and do my hair and make up every single day for work and again for church on Sunday. Saturday varies, depending on what we have going on. Yesterday was a shorts and t-shirt, make up free day, all day long. My poor husband, I leave for work dressed all cute and I walk in the door (I get home after him) and I'm out of my dressy clothes and into a pair of shorts and a t-shirt within 30 minutes. But as far as "really dressed up", I don't know! I did dress up once in our cruise and I have worn that dress a few more times at home. It's a flowy maxi dress that is sleeveless with a really cute neckline; however I always wear it with a jacket because I despise my arms. I would never last 30 minutes! Heck, my bra would always be off shortly after getting in the car for the commute home! Into comfy within minutes of getting in house. Just after going to bathroom (everyone out of my way!) after long commute home. Oh, how I miss that. Not! ETA to answer the question: Less and less the older I get. Weddings and funerals. Seems more like a hassle the longer it is in between.

We go out to a dinner theatre 2 or 3 times a year. I love getting dressed up for a date night with my husband. We also have children in cadets so we dress up for their Christmas and year end mess dinners. It's funny, we don't go anywhere or dress up for any occasions for a few months and then will have 3 nights in one week. In March we had a dinner theatre booked for a Sunday and at the last minute ended up going on the Friday night as well with someone else's tickets and went to a Robbie Burns day Ceilidh on the Saturday. 3 nights in a row of dressing up and eating too much food.

I guess the last time was DH's week-long work conference in Miami a couple of years ago. Nothing super fancy like black tie, but dresses/skirts and jewelry every night but one.
I wear skirts and tees or pullover tee dresses a lot in the summer, just because they're cooler, but I don't consider that dressy.
We've got a wedding in Bar Harbor in September so I guess there will be a little dressing up for that.

Just before Christmas to go to a orchestral concert - formal social outings are definitely slowing down at our house these days!!

I had to this past weekend (Friday/Saturday). Our choir had their annual "Red Carpet" concert, and we dress in formal wear.
We cruise once a year, and we don't go all the way formal for "formal" night, but I will put on a nice cocktail dress, and DH wears a shirt and tie. I do it mostly for the photos.
So between concerts, cruises, and the occasional wedding, I'd say 3-4 times a year.
ETA: That's "after 5" wear, for me. As far as work goes, I see clients maybe once or twice a month, where I'll be in a suit, or nice jacket and slacks/skirt/dress. The rest of the time, I'm in jeans and t-shirt.

Fairly often. Bar/bat mitzvahs, special events for work, non-bbq type parties.
