Can’t believe they’ve missed a trick AGAIN by not including blank labels. People keep asking for them OVER AND OVER. I don’t like anything enough to buy - even with free international shipping YES! I was just looking at the labels and nope. If they aren't blank, I am not going to order and *hope* one of their words actually works with the project I am doing. SaveSaveIf they did blank labels they’d sell out so quick! I’d have popped some in my basket with no doubt.

Oh, thank you peachiceteas . I thought they were new. ETA: sorry, it's the end of the day here, I must be more tired than I thought.

Saw on SC's instagram that they have a new Color Theory collection out. A could of things: 1) I actually like the alphabet sizes. 6x12 is a nice size to use with lots of projects. Not too big. Not too small. 2) $9 for 18 rubber stars? Yikes. Maybe they are expensive to make, I dont know. But thats pricey. 3) Why do they continue to make the tab stickers and the labels with words on them? They are always left in the shop, sale after sale. They cant give them away. I don't think they are, this "new" release are just more products in the same colors and then they threw the old products into the shop to make them look like they are part of the new collection even though they aren't, they just coordinate.
The only new stuff are the enamel dots, the chipboard, the rubber stars, the asterisk stickers, the colorful grid paper, the 6x12 alpha stickers, and the pattern builder. The rest of the stuff thrown in there is just to try to sell old stuff hoping people will buy it because it coordinates with the new. I hope they didn't manufacture more of that stuff thinking people would buy it with the new stuff! My guess is they didn't though since some of the ink pads are sold out.

I ordered the January kit with the $5 code as it's certainly a good deal with shipping to Canada. I do find it odd that you get a Your order has shipped! email right away but then it obviously doesn't actually ship for a while. For example, this is what my tracking says: 01/23/2018 5:51 Package received for processing by UPS Mail Innovations 01/15/2018 16:44 Shipment information received by UPS Mail Innovations The same thing happened with my mega sale order but then it was I think 5 days rather than 8 that it waited at their warehouse. A company shouldn't consider that theyu have shipped something until it is actually received by UPS or the post office. Otherwise that's like an airline claiming they didn't depart late because they pushed back from the gate at the right time but then sat on the tarmac for an hour.

The exact same thing happened with my AE kit. I had an email that it had been dispatched but there had been no movement on tracking, and was assured by the manager of CS that it had been and my package was not eligible for tracking, and then I check my tracking number and it’s only just left Bowling Green after sitting there for seven days AFTER I got my dispatched email. Ridiculous.

Still no numbers on the alphas? They freaking sell PL kits where people often track the weeks. Such a bad move. That's what I like the least about their alphas...I use thickers almost exclusively on 12x12 layouts and flat alphas like these in PL because it doesn't add bulk. But with the ones I got around Thanksgiving not having numbers, I already have to get creative or only use them for the first 12 weeks of the year or the 10's where the spelt out numbers aren't too long. I totally missed that too. I just ordered 2 multi packs and used my $5 coupon. For $9 not a bad deal though. I'll say I know I'll use them, but I have so many alpha stickers I probably didn't need more.

I don't know if it's just bad warehouse management (again, always) or something else, but all I keep thinking is that companies usually charge the credit card when they ship, so in this case they get their money from customers a week before the goods actually go out. Knowing SC it's might not be sinister money management tricks - I'm not sure that they could juggle anything well enough to be devious that way... but it just keeps coming to mind. Surely UPS is picking up there almost every day so once the shipping label is processed and printed the package should be ready for pickup, shouldn't it? I don't know what the heck they're doing.

I like the new products ok (I wish I knew how big the enamel dots are), but I think the price points are way too high.

I do believe that pictures of the January kit did not do it justice. I received it several weeks ago and opened it yesterday in my studio, it is great! Very versatile. Also, I still enjoy the quality of SC patterned papers. I wish for the SB kits would be to have a choice of an ink or paint sample with the kits. I believe it would open/expose the SB kit buyer to more product possibilities in purchasing.

I think some of the price points are off....but if you got the entire bundle and used the $5 off coupon from the questionnaire + with the free shipping, then it could be a deal. So $29.99 bundle price - $5 coupon _________ 24.99 but since shipping is free, that saves you about $5 (not sure how much shipping really would be, but with the paper pad, probably about $5). You would pay around $20 for the bundle. SaveSaveSaveSave

I wonder if they have to have a certain volume per pick-up by UPS. If they don't have the volume they don't ask for the pick-up. It does seem as though they ought to have had the volume from orders but if they don't have the workers to pack them, or some other issue in the warehouse, who knows!

I'm shocked I got the shipping notification for the sticker packs I ordered the other day this morning and USPS picked it up today. It's sad that when I get that email no don't believe it and expect that it'll start moving 2-5 days later.

If anyone is considering the SC Traveler's Notebook - don't. It's not full size and won't hold the Midori refills without 1/4" sticking out. I bought one and it's pretty but I will have to either make my own refills or buy one from them if I want them to fit. Oh well. Lesson learned. I should have waited until they were going for $1 and bought it. SC are like the Ikea of the craft world. Once you buy one thing from there you’re forced to use them again because they just don’t make flipping standard sizes.

Well this has massively ruffled my feathers this afternoon. What the heck? A 30 day trial to BPC is not a prize nor is it exclusive. I got a code this month in the post for the same 30 day trial with my $5 SC Kit. I’ll post it here when I get home tonight from work, so anyone can use it.

The code is BPC1MONTH for 31 free days. Your card will be charged if you do not cancel before the 31 days are up.

Ridiculous. This is my pet hate with SC. They take your money and claim that they have shipped your order and then it sits somewhere for several days. I ordered from their new Christmas line on December 2. It sat and sat with no tracking info. After about 2 weeks, I was told that it wasn't eligible for tracking. After another 2 weeks of nothing, I contacted them again, only for a different person to tell me that there was actually tracking. Unfortunately by this time, the order was on its way back to SC. Their only solution is to tell you to wait 45 days and then they will resend. Seems like they waste an awful lot of money resending things due to the fact that they seem to have no clue what's going on. My order was reshipped on January 9, supposedly with upgraded shipping and tracking. After 18 days, it's only made it as far as Miami. I started another conversation and asked them and just got the same answer...contact us after 45 days and we will resend. They took my money on December 2....for Christmas product...and here we are at the end of January and I am no closer to receiving anything. I know I'm the fool for even ordering from them again, but I think I've learnt my lesson now.....

@glenys definitely not a fool. Its the randomness and inconsistency that's most perplexing. You never know with SC how long it's going to take before they ship things out/when it's going to get to you. It's a crap shoot. Sometimes they are great and other times they just suck. I do not order from sc anything that I need by a certain date. Same with joanns. In fact the only companies I've experienced consistent shipping is fyc, kp and Ellen hutson.
I don't know whether it's that time of year or I am gradually moving away from scrapping but I am totally disinterested in buying scrap supplies. long may it last.

That's terrible glenys and I agree with @northrigg - it's the randomness which is so annoying. Sometimes things arrive quickly, other times they sit and sit before they're picked up and then take the slow route. I just hope they make it right.
